When Eddie relaxes further into him, tucking himself into Steve's arms, Steve will drop his face to the top of Eddie's head, press his lips to the messy curls, breath in the sent of shampoo, turn his face so the softness of Eddie's hair is against his cheek. Eddie will lift his head, turn so he can press a soft kiss to Steve's lips, before tucking himself into Steve's neck, like he was always meant to be there.

No but for real I dont think I'll ever be over Cavendish and Dakota, Dakota literally sacrificing himself over and over again to save Cavendishs life and he doesnt even know. Cavendish died so many times and every time without question Dakota saves him. And he doesnt even know. Cavendish doesnt even know just how loved he is. Dakota takes on all these time travel shenanigans, watching the most current version of himself sacrifice everything, as more and more versions of Dakotas join the island, over and over to save his partners life, because "its Cavendish, what can you do?"
