here it is !!! i included the clips at the end of georges alt stream bc i feel like it’s a perfect example of what sapnap was talking abt, george practically lit up when sapnap turned his cam on, it seems like a fun part of their friendship and makes me so excited for them to finally meet-up and hang out i just can’t wait for them to finally bridge the distance and do stuff in-person bc it makes a world of difference :]

snf loveposting but genuinely their friendship is soo precious to me. the fact that soon we’ll be able to watch them do their pre mcc roleplay irl is driving me crazy like maybe they’ll recreate it and hide behind sapnaps door or something and as dream’s starting his stream, he’ll suddenly hear GRGE and SURPNURP from the other room. the way that sapnap was so excited at the idea of getting bunk beds with george and he said he’d let george get top bunk and how he’s so excited for george to be in florida so he can share all his pokemon cards with george and just hang out with dream and george and take them to his favourite restaurants. they’re just so fun together, like they’ll be screaming the lyrics to muffin to throw bad off his game during their basketball streams, how george knew exactly what dance sapnap was doing and they somehow did the muffin dance together in sync without looking at each other’s stream. how in manhunts they’ll either be arguing over stupid things like taking each other’s iron, protecting each other from dream or burping the alphabet - there’s just no in between but it’s so them. i remember when sapnap said it wasn’t awkward at all when dream first introduced the two of them and then some time later before youtube, george and sapnap were in the a discord server popping off to a song and they didn’t even realise that it was each other at first to now, where sapnap said he’d literally fly to the uk and quarantine with george in another country because he knows george doesn’t like to be alone. just something about them being best friends <3
George and Sapnap got me feeling some type of way so here is a little rundown of their friendship
We don’t know the exact story of how they met, all we know is they first spoke around 6 years ago when Dream introduced them to eachother. That should arguably be awkward right? Your best friend bringing in his new other best friend to say hello. But no, Sapnap said they never had an awkward moment
There was then a time when even when they didn’t know eachother well, they were both vibing in a Discord call together to music and they didn’t realise that it was eachother that they were vibing with until afterwards
Then Dream said he was starting a YouTube channel. George was finishing university so even when he hadn’t started his own channel yet, he was helping Dream with his. Then Sapnap joined them
When George and Sapnap were first seen together in the first few videos, a lot of people thought they hated eachother. Tbh even I did, they were constantly at eachother’s throats and no one got it, all we knew was that they did it and that Dream was pretty used to it seemingly
I don’t think anyone truly understood what their dynamic was until 2 events took place
1. In the ‘Minecraft But We Are Stuck Together’ video on Dream’s channel. George and Sapnap were being wayyy overly nice to eachother all in spite of Dream, just because Dream told them to stop fighting so much
2. In that one stream when Dream had to act like a dad and put George and Sapnap in ‘time out’ because they were fighting too much
People began to come to the realisation that these little weirdos loved eachother just as much as they loved fighting eachother. It was their way of communicating with eachother and they genuinely got offended if someone tried to point it out as being a bad thing
There were times when they would push eachother’s limits, but even that turned into a funny memory for them: Aka the origin of the ‘everything’s a joke to you isn’t it’ inside joke between the Dream Team. For context, George and Sapnap were fighting whilst Dream was just watching, and Sapnap said something that was actually hurtful, so George went ‘woah what you just said was really bad it was actually mean’ and Sapnap said ‘it was a joke’ to which George responded with ‘oh yeah everything’s a joke to you isn’t it’. The call went into silence before the 3 of them burst out laughing and forgot what they were even arguing about, and now it’s a running joke
Despite the fact that their love language is physically murdering eachother, they both have their own little ways of genuinely caring for eachother.
Sapnap is wildly protective over George, 3 examples of this include
1. Anytime Dream is PVPing George and Sapnap comes to his rescue screaming ‘GET AWAY FROM HIM’
2. When a dono said ‘the things George says reminds me of a kid I’d punch in high school’ to which Sapnap moodily responded with ‘God you’re tough 🙄’
3. When Sapnap came onto George’s stream and the first question he asked him was ‘have you slept’
Then we have George who shows his love by constantly wanted quality time with Sapnap, again 3 examples:
1. When George stayed up until 5 am, 4000 miles away from Sapnap last year so that he could be on call with Sapnap when he turned 20
2. George never leaving Sapnap alone on his streams despite constantly threatening to leave because he’s tired
3. Them having a groupchat together called ‘comfy’ where they call just the 2 of them so that they can talk for hours about their lives
They’re such a cool duo and there’s so much I wanna talk about. Like how they both run to eachother in MCC even when they’re on separate teams so that they can do their weird role play. Or when they both got excited at the thought of sharing a bedroom and having bunkbeds together in Florida. Or when they randomly FaceTime eachother mid stream/when Sapnap was hiding in the MrBeast video/the last manhunt just because they wanna have a conversation with eachother separate from everyone else.
People often talk about George and Sapnap’s friendship as if they have no choice but to be friends because they both share Dream. When in reality, they choose to be that close with eachother. They could easily just go their separate ways after each manhunt recording and not speak to eachother otherwise but they don’t. Sapnap is flying other to England because he wants to see George. George is dropping everything to move to Florida because he wants to spend his life with Dream and Sapnap
