It’s weird that I don’t remember watching movies on the airplane on my trip to the UK. This was a blurry month, unfortunately.

(2022) Thor: Love and Thunder

It was fine, for some reason it felt like it didn’t have the same energy as Ragnarok or as funny.

(2021) Marcel the Shell with Shoes On

Beautiful and highly quotable. Just a gem. Glad I got to catch this in the movie theater.

(1953) Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Had never seen this before. Now I know where the iconic “diamonds are a girl best friends…” scene comes from. Camp and gay as hell. Very fun.

(1999) Eyes Wide Shut

Only saw most of this, still have the last little bit to watch. I hadn’t revisited this since I saw it in film school years ago. The stilted acting and the visuals definitely felt like a spiral descent (as intended.) Need to remind myself to finish watching this soon.
