Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal episode 3 “A Cold Death” was easily the most heartfelt of the series so far. Not only do well get a highly sympathetic/realistic portrayal of the mammoths coupled with some amazing fight scenes,(the latter being a series staple) but we also truly get to see the morality in Spear. We learn from flashbacks into his childhood how he was raised to value, not just the lives of his companions/family but also the creatures he hunts. He may kill to survive with callus efficiency, he also really does care a lot about other benevolent creatures.
(that’s as much as I can say without spoilers)
Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003): Anakin: *soaking wet, wearing 60% of the clothes he started with, padawan braid flowing in the breeze, force grabbing one of Ventress’ lightsabers as Duel of the Fates starts playing*
Ventress: Why do I hear boss music??

Someone: there's no way anyone can redeem cartoons. They're all comedies, the good shows are cancelled or are coming to an end, and nothing is taken seriously anymore. Genndy: hold my beer
