trying to draw (ALMOST) Every single lackadaisy character..
ivy doesnt look so good because I rushed her.. Was to excited to get to Mordecai
I started working on this when I watched the Lackadaisy pilot a few days ago, and since then, I have read fifteen years’ worth of Lackadaisy comics these past few nights. I am… running behind in class.
also, I would appreciate any comments that anyone has on this background, constructive or not, I have really got to practice them.
Their first meeting
Freckle: *coughs up dinosaur-shaped sponge* alright who switched out my pills
Rocky: *is not comforted by a relaxing spongy weight in his stomach* where are my fucking dinosaurs
Freckle: I have a bad feeling about this...
Rocky: What do you mean?
Freckle: Don't you ever get that little voice in your head that tells you if you're going to get into trouble?
Rocky: No?
Ivy: That actually explains so much.
Freckle: I relate to Belle because I love books and like people for who they are!
Rocky: I relate to Tinkerbell because I need attention or I die.
Rocky: If you put ‘violently’ in front of anything to describe your action, it becomes funnier
Rocky: Violently sleeps
Ivy: Violently studies
Wick: Violently practices
Nico: Violently boxes
Serafine: Violently murders people
Freckle: Violently worries about the previous statement
Freckle: Problem, I can’t tell if this food is oversauced or undercooked
Ivy: Solution, just pop it back in the oven for another 10 minutes. There’s at least a 50% chance that’ll fix it, right?
Freckle: Result? Food has somehow become unpleasantly soggy and unpleasantly crunchy at the exact same time
Rocky: No better time than this to pull out my favorite word! Slunchy!
Ivy: …put it away
Freckle: This is not the time for your shenanigans!
Rocky: It was a single shenanigan. Technically more of a hijink.
Freckle: I’m going to ask you to be respectful
Rocky: I will politely decline.

the Lackadaisy pilot was so good it was soooo goooooood I love how you don’t have to read the webcomic to enjoy it but it’s also so much more enjoyable if you have read the webcomic and it stays true to the source and ughgggghhhhhhhhhggggh it’s so good the characters were portrayed so perfectly and the animation and just just just

Calvin is your average cat who work with his bit erratic cosuin Roark ghost hunter channel on YouTube yeah it silly and they never find anything but it…well it fun to hang out with his cousin but his mom thing he need to stop and focus on his day job
so one day they search a old a building that used to be a café they get split up as he fall down some floors and find some old speakeasy as he look around he hear faint music he turns and see a ghostly flapper girl who smile at him he scream of course but then
he grab by her they dance as the room come to life with music other ghosts he see one that weirdly like his cousin but as he get drag around the flapper ghost just smile at him and kiss him then it all goes quiet as he there on the floor confused as fuck
what will he do now ? Flim it for his Roark channel? Should he even tell him?
Find out who that ghost was and why did she kiss him?….why did she look familiar?
