i like my traditional drawings better...but finding a way or time to scan them properly is a pain...i want one of those screen drawing tablets... but i don't have the money (don't wanna bother my parents) and i don't have the means to order from the internet..... anyways..this drawing is supposed to be a love/thank you letter to every single game that used the themes of dreams and subconscious.as well as similar game-play elements.....

work has been beyond a mess and the stress and sleep-deprivation are startin to get to head so art might be a little on the messy/experimental/venty side for a bit heh

some thoughts about .flow’s name
As a number of sites and theories have stated, flow is the name of a psychological state in which the individual is fully immersed in what they are doing. An example being when you get really into a video game and forget about everything else and possibly become unaware of anything going on around you.
This of course could be a description of what Sabi’s doing on her computer; running a sort of subconscious exploration program [calling it Flow] that she becomes engrossed in to the point of being similar to a lucid dream. Since she uses a computer instead of going to bed like other dreamers, feel its relevant to note that files and directories with a dot at the front are hidden [thanks .wine].
So have this sort of loose idea that its not just her mind that’s getting explored but specifically the part of her she doesn’t want others to see. Perhaps Rust’s nature is something like intrusive thoughts, and Flow acts as a means to cope and try to confront it or get better control.
At first it wasn’t so lurid, maybe something as part of a treatment she was undergoing. But as time went on her health became worse and she got more isolated, the program slowly enveloping her life until it gets to the point where she refuses to leave her room and does nothing but Flow, which is when the game takes place.
