Uhh, hard question!! But maybe movie Sam would call Flint honey or sweetheart, I dunno, I just think it's cute and the sort of thing she would call him but for the majority of the time, I would say Sam would probably call him by his name ♥

So, I am taking part in the Cloudy 15 year anniversary celebrations thought of by @quietrobots (Don't worry, I won't tag you for every post, just this one!)
Day one of this challenge is to post your favourite character from the franchise and of course this will come as no surprise to you at all!!

The Creation - A Short CWACOM fic
K, so for day two of the cwacom 15 year anniversary celebration, I decided to write a short fic about the FLDSMDFR!! (Hope you enjoy!!)
(In Flint`s lab, 2009)
Anticipation weighed heavily on the young inventor as he stared at the small machine in front of him. The creation was getting closer to being complete and a mix of excitement, dread and nervousness was taking over Flint`s mind. Would this be his best invention ever? Or would it become yet another failed invention? Would the people of Swallow Falls finally accept him into society for it? Or would he be shunned and labelled as a failure?
Flint had spent a good six months planning and creating this invention and was excited to show it to the rest of the world. He had finished the interior of the machine, but the exterior was still needing a few more details. He was yet to paint his signature stripes down the side of the machine. He figured orange would go best with the white body. His little creation would be able to transform water into any kind of food.
In his mind, it would be a huge success what with the lack of proper food on the island. Swallow Falls was famous for Sardines and as soon as the world got tired of them, the locals were forced to eat them for the islands economic survival. The Flint Lockwood Diatonic Super Mutating Dynamic Food Replicator would enable locals to eat whatever they desired without the gross taste of sardines.
Of course, Flint was yet to test the functionality of the machine, but he would do so once he finished the putting the radiation matrix inside along with finish painting the sides. Overall, he was fairly confident in his invention and was proud of all the work he had put into it`s creation. He only hoped others would think the same and finally accept him as a great inventor.
(Very short, I know but I hoped you enjoyed this little fic!!)

The Little Sardine
(Based on the Cloudy tv series. Flint`s first time fishing)
(Flint is around 12 years old here)
The smell of the salty sea air filled Flint`s lungs as he tried his best not to gag at the putrid smell of the bucket filled with sardine bait beside him. It had only been ten minutes since Flint and Tim went out to sea in Tim`s fishing boat and already Flint was bored senseless.
For all he agreed to spend some time with his father, he still preferred spending his time working on an invention with his monkey lab assistant. Tim, on the other hand, was enjoying every minute as he sang a sea shanty about a lady with a wooden eye searching for her long-lost lover.
Flint had managed to zone out as he thought hard about what his next invention would be and was silent for several minutes before his father stopped singing and turned to glance at his son.
“Son? You, okay?” Tim asked, placing his hand on his shoulder which made Flint jump slightly.
“Huh? Oh... yes!” Flint replied with his usual upbeat tone. “Enjoying every minute, dad!”
“Really?” Tim asked.
“Absolutely!” Flint lied as he looked at the floor.
“Son. I know how you really feel about fishing.” Tim replied. “You don't need to pretend to enjoy it.”
“Okay, fine... Sorry, I was just thinking about what to invent next.” Flint admitted.
“Why dont you try your hand at fishing, son?” Tim asked, handing Flint a spare fishing rod. Flint hesitated to take it at first.
“Uh, I dunno, dad.”
“Go on. You might catch something.”
Flint took it and tried to cast the rod as it landed on his father's face. Tim took the pointed hook off his forehead before coming behind his son to demonstrate how to cast properly. Flint was amazed at how strong his dad was when the reel flew back before Tim cast it forward sending it into the water.
“You see, son?” Tim asked. “Now all you need to do is wait and that`s the beauty of it.”
“Okay.” Flint replied hesitantly before something tugged at the hook in the water as he gasped.
“Son! You`ve caught yourself a fish!” Tim said proudly.
“Already?!”
“Yes! Now bring it in, Flint.” Tim said as Flint struggled to wind the rod in but still managed to pull it in as a little sardine emerged from the water on the hook.
“I`ve caught a fish!” Flint exclaimed, amazed at how quickly he could catch one. This was his first time fishing since he was five years old.
“Well done, son. I`m proud of you.” Tim ruffled Flint`s unruly black hair and patted him on the back. Flint smiled at his dad as Tim took the small Sardine from the hook and placed it in the bucket.
“Thanks, dad!” Flint smiled.
“You`re welcome, son.” Tim smiled back at his son. “My little sardine has caught his own fish at last!”
