“Sometime, my colleagues concern me...”
My love for Gawain will never fade, but "The Trial of Lancelot" by Heather Dale gave me motivation and inspiration to draw another Knight of the Round Table. Everytime I see Lancelot represented I cannot help but smile.
It's just another Gawain appreciation post.
I loved Camelot singularity and the Movies were good. Wandering Agataram had the best Gawain's design imo. I liked the design, the hair were just better combed, the cape was fine but animation? Aaaaah! Paladin Agataram was so fucking epic! Dynamic animations, camera movements were vivid, it felt like an actual movie and not just an "animation".
And with this I learned to love Gawain style in this too. Some eyes shot are super cool but in Paladin is more noticeable the changing of art style.
When Gawain and Bedivere start fighting during the day the art style is good, but i swear that as soon the sun starts to set! Orifnfkcir! I couldn't! The action, the movements, the MUSIC. oh my god the OST of Paladin are the best! (Babylonia and Gran Temple of Time have epic battle music and super exciting OST too)
Movement For Four Hands and Paladins: Bedivere vs Gawain are amazing. The first is an amazing piano solo and it's just so nice to listen to it, you can feel the energy, the battle that hits! It's epic. And then there is Paladin which, oh Lord, the trumpets! 1:36 marking hits the right spooott! It gives me goosebumps everytime!
But ye, i decided to sketch Gawain around like this. I watched the movie so many times and still I cry at the end and it emotionates me everytime. Play the Fate Grand Order quests tho, they are better and gives better looking into the characters and concepts!
We need to talk more about this.

Headcanon that I want to share about my Fate Fiction!
Knight of the Round Table Edition!
Because it's good that my shit stays permanently on the internet for people to cringe at!
Bedivere and Elizabeth (OC) do reading exchanges. For this reason, Bedivere is now a fan of dystopian fiction.
Gawain actually knows how to cook! Still, he refuses to make mashed potatoes without using vinegar. Also, he is a vegetarian. (There is still a debate about this on the internet, read many doujin where they say that, so I'm unsure.)
Lancelot is a fond lover of good chocolate. The man likes to drink hot cocoa, better if made with a dark blend and cinnamon sticks.
Tristan has the highest alcohol resistance among his peers.
Percival, Gawain, and Lancelot are accidentally always in competition with each other.
Every 2nd Friday of the month, the Knights of the Round Table have a “Movie Night.” The ones who don't participate are Gareth and Agravain.
As a joke, they watched the trilogy of “50 Shades.” Mordred always made loud noises in some way whenever there was an erotic scene; Tristan found out he has a sensory kink; Bedivere is the only one who refused to watch it, but he did it alone in his room.
The Knights of the Round Table have chore rotations. They are really organized.
Mordred and Gawain are the messier.
Achilles and Gawain, despite having nothing in common, are good friends and enjoy each other's company.
Agravain does pottery late at night when he is undisturbed. (yes, I have room for him too)
When drunk, Bedivere becomes easily irritable and emotional.
Gawain doesn't like to hand his mantle around as much as he does.
The Knights of the Round Table are planning to spend a Summer on the snow.
When the mood is down, Gareth always tries to cheer everyone up. (I think this is more of a General Canon, but I will put it here anyway.)
