She would agree, honestly. She would be standing at the balcony of the drinks parlor, a glass of a light alcoholic beverage in her hand. the night would be cold, the gentle caresses of the wind serenely passing through her locks of carefully looked after hair.
Her eyes would be trained to the figure on the ground, gaze softening as she watched the two figures below the platform she stood upon. They would be brandishing their swords, sending each other blow after blow, showcasing techniques they have been taught together by the same master that dominated the swordsmanship world.
But her blue eyes would only be tracing the figure of her beloved, the older individual, aging as fine as wine, fighting with sweat trickling down his brow. His long white hair would be tied up with the hairpin he had created, matching to the one in her own hair, one she had reserved for special shows she knew his purple eyes would observe.
Her eyes would be trained upon his figure no matter what her lover was doing, be it doing such miniscule tasks like wiping his brow with the napkin she had graciously offered her lover. Or it may even be something he did daily, like sitting up straight while he dined with her, even though it was just the two of them in a regular commoner restaurant.
Or even it may be something that she adored the most, which watching him hard at work, hammering away in his smithy. He would place his lover away, even taking it upon him to scoop her up in his arms and set her on a bench away from the fire, worried that her beautiful silks be singed by the sparks that flew out of the hearth.
She would watch his figure warmly, her cheeks warming up with affection and love for him. She would watch as he smiled in satisfaction as he created yet again another sensational masterpiece with his rough hands that were always so gentle when handling her. He would watch as he boasted to those around him, words sometimes prickling the fire of envy in others, but always spoke so courteously and affectionately to her.
She loved this man with all her heart, and the finest pieces created with only the most delicate touch adorned her very being. She wished that days where he rested in her arms would prolong and their happiness would be eternal, or at least until death parts the two of them.
But for now, she was content with staring at him as he ate a snack provided with her loving, healing hands. It was yet another tiring day at work, and she just wanted to do something nice for him. But instead of doing something nice for him, she was rewarded with the beautiful sight of her beloved yet again.
"Is something the matter, my moon ?" The swordsmith would ask, a teasing hand raised to gently caress his beloved's cheek with a slender finger.
"No, you're just...breathtaking, my beloved." She would reply in response, smiling lovingly at the man who had aged by her side.
"Is that so, my love ?" Yingxing would reply with a deep husky chuckle, his voice sending tingles up his lover's spine. His hand would cup her chin, turning her face towards him, but not enough to hurt his lover.
"Well then, you have quite a couple more decades to admire this handsome face of mine. I'll make sure that this face is properly ingrained into your precious little mind~"
(Y/n) looked in her hands, snapping out of a series of memories as she glanced at the earring in her hand, in form of a windchime. She smiled lovingly at it, regret and pain bubbling in her heart as she reminisced about moments in the past. It felt so strange, yet so familiar to her.
She looked up at the sky, the moon's gentle light gracing upon her figure.
"I hope you sleep well tonight, my beloved."
She swore that within the howl of the night, she heard a reply come back to her. A familiar deep and husky voice that sent tingles down her spine.
"And I hope your dreams are nothing short of flowers that bloom in the night's gaze."
