Still not over Lucy ranking 17th. I get second hand embarrassment for her. What even is this ...

Can we also talk about the fact that Tim got divorced …. Something that happens to like half the population and we’ve heard about Tim’s trauma from it more times than I can count …. but Lucy was BU*RIED ALIVE and we haven’t heard/seen the trauma from Lucy since it happened….

so like, is Tim gonna just ignore the fact Lucy tanked the detectives exam because of his promotion …? or …..?

so Tim has a picture of his ex wife on his desk at work. Nothing of Lucy. He invites said ex wife TO LUCYS HOME and proceeds to mock Lucy WITH his ex wife INFRONT of Lucy. He still yells at her at work. Lets Lucy take the fall to be mocked by the whole station for something HE did and now leaves Lucy in the dark when he DISAPPEARS.

and we still ship her with him … .. WHY?

Let’s talk about the fact Nolan fucked up and ends up on TV!?

Lucy “fucks up” at a scene and gets taunted by the whole station !? ……

I’m amazed this fandom gives more shit to Tamara for interrupting … in HER OWN HOME. But y’all never give Tim shit for all the crap he has done and continues to do …

I’m LIVING for this Chenford angst because it’s about time Lucy pushes back!

I’m sick of Tim being able to behave however tf he feels and Lucy is just supposed to be okay with it

YouTube comments on Rookie related content (trailers & scenes) alllll hate Lucy. They pretty much just say she’s too emotional and overreacting to everything.

I’m so sick of women being labeled, especially emotional, but if it were reversed, the EXACT SAME SCENARIO, the woman disappeared without telling her significant other ANYTHING, not even that she’s alive, for days … the man would be furious and DEFENDED.

Women are expected to put up with way more disrespect, without saying a word, or else we’re too emotional. — but a plethora of disrespectful shit can be done to us by men before we’re justified and defended for putting a stop to it. 

(ex: letting your ex wife show up at your new girlfriends home without even asking, having a photo of your ex wife displayed in your office at work, an office you didn’t get until about 3-4 years AFTER your divorce, constantly yelling at her or speaking to her in a very harsh tone , etc)

Can we also talk about the fact only REACTIVE emotions are seen as “emotional”. Because every single character in this show has EMOTIONALLY snapped at Lucy when they’ve having a bad day, Lucy’s literally been a punching bag for years at this station for everybody else’s EMOTIONAL DAYS and NOBODY EVER get labeled emotional. but sure, Lucy’s significant other disappears at night, without a word, not even knowing if he’s alive, and SHES too emotional.

The fact that Timothy even ENTERTAINED breaking up with Lucy says ALOT.

Breaking up wasn’t even an option for Lucy. She didn’t even consider it. Despite all the ways HE let HER down — she still approached their relationship like life partners who were gonna face everything TOGETHER. Get through everything together.

He not only ENTERTAINED a breakup, he DID IT.

Tim Bradford is a coward for doing that to Lucy.

Knowing Eric Winter was the one pushing for them to breakup makes this worse. the man has legit just been lying to fans .. haha HA

Tim told Ashley “you deserve better and I wanna be that guy for you”

Tim told Lucy “you deserve better that’s why I’m walking away”

…. they seriously just ruined his character. RUINED. Lucy didn’t deserve this.

I fckin TOLD YOU! They’re gonna let him disrespect her, have absolutely NO regard for her whatsoever and once he’s ready she’s just been sitting around waiting and will take him right back.

It’s PATHETIC. It cheapens Lucy as a character.

It’s SO OBVIOUS this was written by a man. and Eric not seeing a problem with it is typical too.
