House of the Rising Sun

This was made only a few weeks after my “Separate Ways” cover. This one was of the traditional “House of the Rising Sun,” most famously covered by Eric Burdon and the Animals. My voice was at that awkward phase when it was too low to hit the high notes I had previously hit, but too high and squeaky to hit the low notes on some of the songs. I struggled with this one, and eventually just gave up and got vocal lessons.
