Shouting my reactions into the void?

(TADC episode 2 spoilers under cut if I did this right)

Caine is doing his best. He doesn't know any better atm. It WOULD be an incredible, possibly dangerous problem if he lost track of who was a human and who was an AI/NPC; considering how badly he can space out, glitch, or just miss things, it's not out of the realm of possibility, and he also had no idea Gummygoo even became that sentient.

(Not to mention, like. We don't know if he deleted him, or teleported him, or just loaded him out? There's so much wiggle room at the moment for interpreting how the circus works and how much it has running at a time and how it's all stored.)

There's SO MUCH he just doesn't know how to wrap his head around. Maybe it's too much to hope he gets character development for the better by the end, but I'm hopeful all the same.

(Also Jax can be a jerk and have a heart he's ignoring. These things can coexist. He is the exact same character he was in the first episode. Obnoxious, selfish, morally bankrupt... And yet. When the funeral is mentioned, there is a SPLIT. SECOND. Of sadness in his face before he wanders off and refuses to attend.)
