ENTP appreciation :)

you guys have the ability to be exceptionally sincere and equally elusive all at the same time — i think, less like an onion and more of many, many masks. also excellent poker faces. ENTPs don’t like to be pigeonholed. what made this post a bit difficult to write is that you guys are so amorphous, kind of endlessly evolving that it’s near impossible to pin you down.

so. intelligent. fucking hell. the ENTPs i know are absolute whizzes at physics, and application in general. so intellectually curious. i want to get in your brains.

yall are mildly insane. which i love as an INFJ — ENTPs are some of the people i feel can really match my level of weird. not just weird though, ENTPs are deep thinkers. i could talk for hours with my ENTP friend about philosophy and she’d be perfectly happy to indulge in my insanity through hours worth of voice recordings.

goofballs. complete goofballs when you get to know them.

sense of humour! dry witticism galore. and the delivery.

ENTPs exude this sort of cool loner energy that makes it very easy for me to pick them out in a crowd. they are somehow very real people. from personal experience, ENTPs can do small talk, and even excel at it, but it’s not going to be their cup of tea. (which makes them so appealing to INFJs. frankly all i want to do is grab them and sit with them in a corner to talk about things that actually matter for days.)

tend to be a jack-of-all-trades — my ENTP friend excels in both the sciences and humanities, everything seems to be an easy A* for her. *envy* 

very fun people to play boardgames with because of their extremely competitive nature, and even more fun to beat (not that that happens very much)
