my self insert is basically just me but i’m a satyr so i got like deer ears and the tail and hooves and stuff i’ll maybe draw a more in depth version another day
this self insert has been an idea in my head for a long time but i never really tried to draw it that much thinking i wouldn’t do it justice but i think i did pretty good here

Mars is the "doesn't understand human affection but makes a strong attempt to" kinda alien
(Explanation as to who Mars is under the keep reading)
My interp on Captain from ISWM 1 and 2 is named Mars, and he was originally an alien spy who killed the real captain that was supposed to board the Invincible II and took their place. His original mission was to research the crew and when the research was done, kill the crew and steal the ship.
However, he quickly found himself growing attached to the crew (especially Mark) and eventually decided to abandon his previous mission and take a full time place as the captain of the Invincible II, leaving a fake gone wrong message to make it seem like he had died during the mission.
Currently, no one knows about his true origins nor species in fear that he will be shunned for it.
how much time do you spend thinking about... well, past? actor mark, damien, the colonel, abe and all that... you've been through this, haven't you?
