Crisis averted.

With two infants in the household, Sol and Gray were busy with both working around shifts that would ensure either of them were at home with the twins. Eirian needed to be held every few minutes or else she'd bawl into tears, so he had to carry her around the house; while Iliana was a fussy child to the core. But these two were angels, well, most of the time. Although Eirian does have a problem with communicating her needs, aside from the holding problem, she was a sweet, sunny baby who was easily impressed by whatever her little hands could hold, so she rarely complained. Iliana, on the other hand, was a bit too cautious, so they couldn't a babysitter she wouldn't bite or cry at. Still, she was lovely and she adored them, her daddy Grayson the most.

unfortunately for grayson, his family's predisposition to hypertension has finally caught up to him.
A normal day in the Arcoberry-Finley household.

Grayson got hypertension, and now Soleil just found out she has a sleep disorder. Overworking herself among her kids, her work, and her rocket ship has finally dealt its blow and now she's chronically tired but can't seem to sleep long enough to fully refresh herself. On top of that, Eirian, her sweet, little lemon keeps waking up earlier each day and she pees a lot! On Sol, too!

Sometimes, they have the same day-offs and they alternate on who gets to spend it babysitting the twins. And at the end of the day, when they're all asleep, tired from learning how to sit and grab objects, the tired, spit-soaked, pee-sprayed parent gets a kiss for a reward.

Uncle Ashton came for a visit. He's currently working on a new novel and came to Oasis Springs for a little bit of inspiration - mostly in the form of two gray-eyed infants.

Soleil works out while Grayson teaches Eirian how to stand up. And then we have our very own picky and messy eater in the form of a yellow-bowed, gray-eyed infant who dislikes everything except for banana slices.

Meet Eirian Finley-Arcoberry. Diagnosed with communication development delay, little, sunny Eirian may stumble on her words but she sure doesn't stumble on her feet. She does, however, tire easily and breathe a little harder and deeper than normal. Still, she does not fail to put a smile on everyone's faces with her little bursts of energy and laughter everywhere she goes. Her easy temperament has lightened the load on her busy parents' shoulders. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said with her raven-headed twin. . .
And Iliana Finley-Arcoberry. Iliana has always been a cautious child, skeptic of even the lemons her mother likes to force onto her (but she doesn't hesitate to bite her countless sleep-deprived babysitters' fingers). Of the two, she talks a lot more, speaks up quite a bit much, and argues nonsensically with everyone on everything - but that's how it is when your parents are busy and you get left behind with suspicious strangers, you end up wanting more attention, throwing more fits, and crying a lot more to get you both what you want. You become a bit of a fussy child.

Guess who got roped into babysitting the twins while their parents were out on a date on another planet. . . and this is why you shouldn't make promises with your twin brother who unfortunately has an impeccable memory.

As the daughters of two intellectuals, these two just smile and laugh whenever they're being taught anything remotely scientific. And, unfortunately, it's Ashton's responsibility to ensure that these two learn their homework (which their mother had left for them) before their parents arrive from Watcher knows where.

Soleil got her aunt Araminta to babysit the twins while she goes around repairing broken furniture (Ashton may be a good babysitter but he's clumsier than Grayson).
