We finally got to see the Eggman siblings interact and he immediately protects her from a badnik I’M—

I understand but I love this. Its Metal that makes Mr tinker remember being eggman (at least thats what I'm guessing the lighting means) and he doesn't want to be Dr Eggman again because of Belle. This is father energy. He remembers his 'son' but doesn't want to leave his 'daughter'
