my favorite difference between elephant, duck, and zero day is the attitude towards the possibility that the characters kissed… in elephant they canonically did, in duck the actor supports it, and in zero day we get conflicting answers every single time someone asks
I want to ramble about another shooting movie but the only one's besides Zero Day we've watched is Duck! and.. It's a good movie, don't get me wrong, but there's not much you can say about it. It's very in your face with the information it presents you. Two boys, they get bullied, they shoot up their school. They're nazis too, I guess? It's a good movie, but it's hard to analyze, because everything is so up front.
BUT there are some things I still don't understand. Is Derwin's dad schizophrenic? Why did he start hearing music and then hit his wife and try to run over a kid? Speaking of that kid, what was up with his parents? What was that whole bit about?
I like Duck! because it's confusing and doesn't take itself too seriously. They also died holding hands, which I think is funny. #yaoi
