The seeker and the dreamer 🧡💜
Yeah … I like the Godseeker from Hollow Knight quite a lot : she has a really neat design , a beautiful voice … even though the Pantheon of Hallownest is very painful for me in a lot of points having her there definitely helps :,//) 👍
So , after working on it a bit I ended up making this little HK self insert ! I named her Lihm ^^

Been listening to this beautiful song a lot lately , and since it made me think about the little pairing I made with the Godseeker and my insert Lihm I ended up making this drawing :

I like to imagine that since the Godseeker kinda has a mask for a face she just gives Lihm a little bonk as a way of kissing her … wholesome stuff :,//) ❤️

I imagine that as much as she tries to hide it , the Godseeker actually feels very lonely outside the Dream World she has created in her mind … so she is overjoyed whenever Lihm comes by to keep her company <3 ❣️

Yep , I’ve been in the mood for cozy stuff lately ( more than usual ^^” ) , so I decided to try and make something featuring the Godseeker and Lihm resting in Godhome together ://) ❤️

Saw the Godseeker again in a new Hollow Knight game I started a few days ago , and it made me think about her again :,//) ❤️
I got home not that long ago and yeeted myself at the tablet to make this drawing immediately , cause bug lady deserves all the love and affection she can get ❣️❣️

It’s pretty canonical in the Hollow Knight Godmaster DLC that the Godseeker can be distant and a bit harsh at first , but I like to imagine that Lihm is the only bug in Hallownest that is able to make her feel like she can be her own person around her and that maybe her mission isn’t the only reason for her to live ://) 🧡💜
In short : bug girls love each other a lot ^^ ❣️

Imagining the Godseeker immediately losing her usual composure whenever her and Lihm spend time together in Godhome is something that will never not make me giddy ://) 🧡💜
Just want her to have some relief and comfort after all her strenuous efforts to reach her goal : she deserves it ❣️

While she is used to being “worshipped” in a sense , I think that she has rarely experienced having a genuine bond with someone who treats her like an actual person , which often caused the Godseeker to feel especially lonely and isolated … that is , until my s/i entered her dreams for the first time ://) 💜🧡

I also like to imagine the Godseeker creating spaces in her dreams for when Lihm arrives , specifically meant to spend time together with my s/i … it’s a little thought that makes me feel all giddy ^^ ❣️

I imagine that sometimes the Godseeker has some trouble falling asleep , kept awake by the memory of the day when the gods she believed in left her and her tribe lost in the darkness … whenever this happens though , Lihm always makes sure to be there to sooth her beloved by holding her and singing to her ://) ❤️
While the Godseeker says it’s unnecessary , deep down she deeply appreciates it 💕
