Something people on the dream smp know all too well. With the rule of two instead of three after events happen. With Las Navadas being the new l'manburg and Quackity becoming the next Dream being some of the most recent examples of this.
The fandom is filled with people referencing and making predictions based on things that repeat itself, sometimes even going as far back as tales from the smp. But something I don't think anyone pointed out, was that Tommy's exile was history repeating Tubbo's execution.
Hear me out here for a second. Dream takes the place of Schlatt in this instance, with Tubbo replacing technoblade and tommy replacing tubbo. "A person carrying out a terrible deed onto another person because they were pressured into it by a higher power" can technically describe both situations.

Tubbo exiled Tommy under dream's orders because he didn't want to put l'manburg at risk. Technoblade killed tubbo under JSchlatt's orders because he didn't want to put Pogtopia at risk. It's the same situation, but in different fonts.
Sure, people might say being exiled isn't as bad as losing a cannon life, but if you look at what tommy went through, I bet there's an argument out there saying that exile was worse. Even if Tubbo didn't know what he was doing to Tommy, everyone agrees that it's bad to exile people from places without good reason. Tubbo's reason though, was "I was pressured by Dream to keep L'manburg safe." Which is the same as Techno's reason, with just a few more words.
At the end of all this, I just wanted to point it out. I'm no theorist of the dream smp, but I just thought it was interesting. And I also find it interesting that Tommy is willing to forgive tubbo for what he did to him, but not techno. The guy who literally took him in, and gave him a bit of shelter from dream in the last bit of the exile.
"You followed what the government told you to do. That makes you as bad as the government Technoblade." Words from tommyinnit during his talk with techno at doomsday. By the same logic though, would that make tubbo as bad as dream? Obviously, no. Tubbo is not as bad as dream, that's just a stretch. But that just means techno isn't as bad as Jschlatt either.
All the characters are on a gray scale. None are truly black or white, but some of them are darker then others. I just want people to consider this, "coincidence" if you want to call it that, cause I think it's something interesting.
Sorry for the bit of c!tommy slander at the end. He's just not my cup of tea, and I'm definitely more on dream/techno's side, rather then l'manburgs. Anyway, remember your food, water and meds, and have a great day!

Hmm headcanons part 1
EnderWalk!Ranboo
Actually very protective of Tubbo and Michael(Ran and Tubbo have said they are way to attached to Michael to do anything angsty lore related)
Ranboo also likes to take Michael out for walks in his EnderWalk state when Dream isn’t making him do something.
Normal enderman habits, lots of grass blocks, lots of grass blocks.
In this form he also has access to his teleportation, but he can only teleport a certain distance. So in the EnderWalk state he’s digging under the prison to get in teleportation distance with Dream.
This tunnel also has holes in the wall and grass and dirt blocks everywhere.
Philza
Knits in his free time, also stress knits a lot.
Has lots of jewelry and other shiny things that his crows bring him.
Has a braid in his hair, a representation of his relationship with Techno, has a lock of Techno’s hair braided into it. Techno has a matching one.
Has a music note necklace from Wilbur, had it for years and refuses to part with it.
Tries to distance himself from kids/anyone he could reasonably be a parental figure for, Wilbur wasn’t planned and Philza wasn’t ready and he feels like everything that happened to Wil was his fault, so he’s worried he’ll hurt them.
Techno
Lots of golden jewelry, keeps his Piglin gold obsession in check.
Picked up knitting from Philza, also enjoys sewing.
If he and Philza are in a fight together he’ll guard Philza’s back because Philza’s back is extremely sensitive due to his damaged wings.
Takes long, very hot baths because Piglins love lava baths. But Techno is a half-Piglin so hot water it is.
Can and will sleep absolutely anywhere.
Sam
In my happy ending AU, Sam finally comes to his senses, horrified by what he did to Ponk, crafts a netherite prosthetic for Ponk. OR The Warden is actually a robot like Sam Nook that Sam would swap places with when he needed rest so that way the prison will always be guarded. This Warden-bot started malfunctioning and tortured Ponk and cut his arm off. Sam found out and ripped the bot to shreds, using its netherite remains to make a prosthetic for Ponk.
Is repelled by cats, like an actual creeper.
Can explode like a creeper but refuses to do so for obvious reasons
Post-Happy Ending, Sam and Ponk live in a nice secluded cottage.
Tommy
Has a streak of white in his hair from his time in the afterlife.
Cause I love the Phoenix!Tommy, he gave Tubbo, Ranboo, and Michael each a feather of his. His feathers are warm so it’s pretty comfy in the dense snow.
He can fly but not for super long.
Will take Michael out flying, after Tubbo and Ranboo made sure Michael would be safe.
Has a green bandanna with a little bee embroidered on it. It’s from Tubbo and he absolutely refuses to part with it.
Tubbo
Has a red bandanna with a little sword embroidered on it(can’t decide between sword or music disc because of all the negative connotations the discs now have)
Wears his wedding ring on his right horn.
Terrified of fireworks and thunderstorms.
He and Ranboo will dance together but it’s pretty funny and ridiculous looking because of the extreme height difference.
Just like Schlatt, if startled badly enough he’ll freeze up and topple over. Like a goat does!

one of my favourite headcanons to entertain about him is the way he started his work with explosives
we all know about the festival, we all know that he almost definitely has trauma surrounding explosives and fireworks
so why work with them?
I like to think that he initially gravitated towards them out of self-destruction. i haven't put much thought into why exactly he went to that self-destruction, but, I think he did
i think eventually, though, he developed a genuine love for the science of it
I think over time, what started as a way to lose himself in his trauma ended up turning into a much healthier way to process and cope with it, a new thing to throw his energy into and a new motivation
it's nice to think about as a character development thing. he goes from self-destructing, to then finding genuine fulfillment in his work
though, after c!Ranboo died... that lab didn't feel like such a safe space anymore
suddenly it was less of a distraction, and more of a reminder

OHHH boy this took a while to finish but!! here's pre canon, festival/spy era, president, and showchester tubbo!! list of details:
Pre canon tubbo has longer hair! It gets cut short during Schlatt's administration, and then he grows it back out as president/snowchester era!
as a spy, his suit doesn't fit! it's too big, and his blazer has been buttoned improperly. This is pretty much representing how he is WAY in over his head at this point. He fixes this as president, as he's stepping into the role with a bit more experience
HORNS!! they start out growing in as little nubs, and everyone kind of just assumes that they're goat horns? but as president they start growing up instead of around, and by the time that Doomsday comes and goes, they're full on dragon horns, spikes and all!
the bench is The Bench(TM), and you can see bandanas in both Tommy and Tubbo's colors!
snowchester tubbo has a wedding ring on his left horn!
the nukes have an ID of TB0-1223! 12/23 being Tubbo's birthday!
there are also dandelions around the bench, which represent Healing from emotional and physical pain, Long lasting happiness, and youthful joy!
you can see the arrow of the compass pointing forward!
snowchester!tubbo is also wearing Tommy's shade of red
this is more from a character design standpoint but as Tubbo's design starts out all round and soft but slowly gains more angular elements! tommy's design is the opposite. it starts out v angular but gains more soft elements!
