Ok separate post for this one. First off please do not under any circumstances target the creators of these character AIs or anyone who makes a BAAU character AI. I want people to know about my comfort zone and that does not involve harassment.

If you are the creator of either of these C.AI, please take it down.

I would like to reiterate that I do NOT give consent for any character.ai of anything Beast Ancients AU related. If I see these on c.ai then I will report them.

If I also know who the makers of c.ai bots are on tumblr then they will be blocked, no questions asked.

When I see c.ais of my characters it discourages me from writing for Beast Ancients AU. I don’t want to post things that will be taken by people and put into AIs. If you make character AI of people’s characters without their consent then it can have negative effects on the original creator. Your desire to have a character interact with you should not step on the unconsenting creator’s comfort, or anyone’s comfort for that matter. I hate that I have to be loud about this

I know some people won’t read or listen and make AI of my characters anyway, which is the sad truth and I wish people had more respect for the creators of things they enjoy. Smaller creators who have their artworks stolen for C.AI are affected way more by it.

I really wish I could solve this more discreetly, but as of writing, Character.ai does not allow users to message other users directly, and I can find neither blogs of these creators nor other ways to contact them so I have to bring it here.

I encourage people to report these bots for privacy violations. While I’m unsure if the staff will consider one single report from me, no matter how much evidence I gave them that I am the creator, perhaps enough reports will get their attention. But I must reiterate that this does NOT include harrassing the creators of these AIs of any kind. I do not tolerate harassment on my behalf - I value people who keep things as civil as possible.

After getting the message saying “Just go kill yourself” I was completely done dealing with this person’s horrible messages and replied with just an “Okay.” and logged off tumblr.

About a week later I logged back on with 17 messages in my ask, most of them from the anon. I scrolled down and at first when I logged off, the anon messaged me things like

This was extremely surprising to me. I thought “After all those horrible messages you sent to me for MONTHS about hating me and wanting me dead, you say ‘sorry’ and that you ‘cant be responsible for someone’s suicide’?”

once again, to the people charging money for fanfiction: be more freaking careful before you get us all taken down?!?!?!?! you shouldn't be doing that at all because you don't have any right to make money off someone else's copyright, but making noise about it risks legal repercussions even for people who don't charge! STOP THAT.
