The fact that Mark Cuban can do this is just further proof of how much capatalism is f*cking people over.

Billionaire investor Mark Cuban launched an online pharmacy Thursday that offers more than 100 generic drugs at an affordable price with a goal of being “radically transparent” in its price negotiations with drug companies.

For example, the leukemia drug imatinib is priced at $47 a month on MCCPDC compared to the $9,657 retail price.

The online pharmacy’s prices for generics factor in a 15% margin on top of actual manufacturer prices and a $3 pharmacist fee, the statement said.

WHY are people being ableist towards Max? Like please. Max being blind and disabled from the waist down/their entire body does not make them any less of a good character. I'm hoping they end up okay and get a wheelchair and or cane because that would be such an important representation for disabled people everywhere. There's people literally saying "They should've killed off Max because they're gonna be weird now," like bro. You're telling me you'd rather have a character be literally killed then have them be disabled? Please. It's disabled pride month. Go cry about it.

⚡ PSA ⚡ This seems to happen every year but since it's upon us: just a friendly reminder not to reblog the original zigzag design Disability Pride Flag. It can trigger migraines at best and epileptic seizures at worst in some people. The design was reworked to be diagonal stripes, and THIS design is safe to reblog. But every year this makes it a struggle of whether or not some of us should just block the entire tag. The best thing to do, if you insist on using the defunct design, is to use a "flash warning" tag so we can keep ourselves safe. But not everyone does so hopefully this message will help remind people. RB to spread the word.

Reminder that if an "accessible" toilet requires a key to open, it is not, in fact, accessible.

fuck self-closing disabled toilets that require a key all my homies hate self-closing disabled toilets that require a key

I present: the Leaves Yer Door Ajar 3000™

Reminder That If An "accessible" Toilet Requires A Key To Open, It Is Not, In Fact, Accessible.
Reminder That If An "accessible" Toilet Requires A Key To Open, It Is Not, In Fact, Accessible.

ID1: a sort of wide rectangular brick-like object in my hand, made out of several layers of folded up paper towel, inside a disabled toilet. end ID1

ID2: the same brick shaped rectangle of folded paper towels, now placed in a crack in the door of the disabled toilet, leaving it ajar. end ID2

(it'll only leave it open for the next person unless they put it back or make a new one when they leave, but hey it'll save at least one person from this inaccessible bs, and hopefully the staff of this place will get the hint)

Don't forget about the Indigenous victims of police brutality.

Don't forget about the Asian victims of police brutality.

Dont forget about the neurodivergent/Disabled victims of police brutality.

Learn the names and tell their stories. Many stories are purposely hidden away, ignored, or don't reach media coverage. As someone who cares deeply for the families who've still fighting for justice, don't forget them. Don't forget thoe who've lost their lives. Police do not care for anyone, yes even your uncle who's a "good" cop. The policing system needs to be completely abolished. There is nothing to reform what has caused harm, abuse, and trauma.

Being Disabled Shouldn't Equal Being Poor.

Being disabled shouldn't equal being poor.

Abolish the sub-minimum wage, increase income caps for disability assistance, and establish universal basic income.

digital illustration of a disabled nonbinary person with leg braces. They have a green mullet and are wearing a black t-shirt, purple cargo pants, green chunky heels and a green belt. There's text that reads, 'being disabled shouldn't equal being poor.'

Happy Face Equality Week :-D

digital drawing of people with facial differences being happy, to celebrate face equality week.

(short ID in alt text, longer below)

I really wanted to draw some happy people with facial differences for this week so:)

if you tag this as "tw scars" or some other "body horror" I'm killing u btw:D!!!

[Image description: digital drawing of 7 character with facial differences against a patterned background. The left side shows a gay couple sitting and hugging; one from them has a large bump on his forehead and widespread eyes, while the other has paralysis on one side of his face. In the middle is a teen girl cuddling with a cat, both of which are missing their left eye. Below her is a nonbinary person smoking a cigarette with heart-shaped smoke surrounding them; they have facial atrophy on one side of their face. The right side is split into three small panels; top one shows a Black girl with a cystic hygroma on her jaw on a pastel pink background, middle shows an Indian man with Crouzon syndrome from the side smiling, bottom is a zoom on the side of the head of a person with microtia; they're wearing a bone-anchored hearing aid and have a buzz cut with stars patterned in it. At the bottom, "Happy Face Equality Week" is written. End image description.]
