I know Bungie probably won't be kind enough for this, but Light, I just want a cutscene when our guardian first sees Cayde again, they just rush to him and give him a hug instead of the blank word document amount of emotion we've been getting.

What I want: HUG!
What we'll probably get: 6 feet apart COVID level of social distancing with a serious expression, maybe a "Good to see you again Cayde/kiddo." Interaction if we're LUCKY.
I get that it probably wouldn't make sense for new lights, but for people who have played D1 and 2? (Which is probably a majority of us, tbh) it would mean a lot. Besides, for new lights, it would be like hugging a folk hero or something. There's not a guardian alive that hasn't heard of Cayde-6.
I need my guardian to have some kind of emotion other than :I
ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO CAYDE.

Always One Less than You Need
“What are you up to?”
The Warlock pretended he had not been a half a second from dropping the shotgun in his hands.
“Looking.” He responded, studiously not looking at the other guardian. He could almost hear the whir of gears as the tall Exo took in the scene.
“Did you run out of space again?” It was phrased as a question, but it was definitely an accusation.
“No.” He said, huffing barely a breath later. “Yes.”
How.” Came the near incredulous response.
“Not all of us just throw things away.”” He side eyed the other, hands twitching a little around the compact weapon.
“You mean not everyone is a hoarder.” The other retorted, the mirth ringing clear in his voice.
The Warlock gave an indignant squawk, the gun in his hands vanishing as he sent it to be dismantled.
“I’m not a hoarder. I just like to be prepared. “ He grumbled, ignoring the snickering the Titan wasn’t even pretending to hide.
“Just drop it in your vault for later.” The Exo finally stopped his chuckling long enough to speak.
The Warlock shifted further away, showing more of his back as he slid another weapon from his backpack. Completely ignoring the fact that each compartment was very much not empty.
“Really.”
He could hear the judgement in the Titan’s voice, the feat would have impressed him if it wasn’t aimed at him.
“How do you manage to fill a…” The Exo shook his head, “I’m actually impressed.”
“Oh shut it.” The shorter guardian snapped, sending the last item to be dismantled.
He was already promising a swift retribution, while ignoring Nova’s less than helpful giggling.
Fireteam Blues
“I hear you went with a different fireteam when I was out of commission.” The Titan said by way of greeting, walking down the stairs to the main hanger.
The Warlock immediately groaned, covering his face with his hands.
“It was insane! So much dying. Poor ghosts were popping in every minute it felt like.”
Surging up from his sprawl across the wing of the other’s ship, nearly knocking the toolbox over in his haste.
“We come back, sure, but a little self-preservation would be good, right?” He scooted further forward, hands flying in the air as he built steam. The Titan grinned as he got comfortable, making vague noises of agreement.
“But no, let’s just run in with no thought on cover or being flanked. So down they go, then down I go.” He shook his head. “And I died! A lot!” He growled snatching his ghost from the air and turning it to face him.
“We died a lot. And you had to work so much.” The Warlock said, staring down at the Nova as he wiggled in agreement, one appendage still carrying a scorch mark.
“They even shot at you, the ba….”
A sound broke him from his rant as the other’s laughter finally sunk in.
“Why are you laughing?” The near monotone that his voice had dropped to was stark after the frenetic energy of before, causing the Titan to laugh even harder. The carefully held ghost was watching the tall Exo as well, its little optical staring accusingly.
“I’m sorry, its just funny. This has really got you going.” The Titan said, waving a hand in apology as he attempted to stop his snickering.
The Warlock huffed, unimpressed with his response.
“You are not allowed to do that again. Nova and I will revolt.” He stated, the aforementioned ghost seemed to light up in unison as the Awoken watched the taller Exo.
“You’re the only titan guardian with some common sense” He added gravely.
The Titan held back his mirth long enough to give the other a less than solemn pat on the shoulder. An arched brow informed him he had not been completely successful.
The next time the Titan fell in battle, the Warlock waited a few seconds before reviving him.

Zavala is... an interesting character, to say the least...
He’d have to be an Arc Titan because of the weird rule-of-three thing the Vanguard does, right? Awoken Arc Titan, Human Void Warlock, Exo Solar Hunter.
Now here’s where things get even more interesting:
In the EDZ bunker mission, he uses the Void Titan banner shield ability thingy
In the vanilla campaign, he repeatedly uses Void Titan Bubbles when the tower falls
BUT:
In the Season of Worth trailer, he uses an Arc Striker ability against the Cabal on the Almighty
Zav also used Arc abilities in his story trailer
There are “holograms” of Zav using a Solar hammer in the Dark Forest of D2’s Red War campaign
Now, I’m a Solar Gunslinger. I’ve never played a Titan before, so I’m not entirely familiar with their abilities, but this is intriguing from a story standpoint.
Sure, Ikora is a fucking badass and has used both Voidwalker and Stormcaller abilities, and Cayde did stuff from all 3 Solar trees in that Last Stand cutscene, but they’re both specialists in their elements and are rarely shown multiclassing.
Saint is a Void Titan- That’s all but confirmed. However, as someone kindly pointed out in the notes, he has used Arc abilities before in the comics.
Now that I think about it, we’ve only seen a few Vanguard members, current or otherwise, not using abilities other than those of their element.
Idk about Andal or Tallulah, but as far as I know, Andal was a Solar Hunter... and Tallulah gives me Solar vibes from the entry I’ve read (The Bombardiers exotic leggies for Hunters)
In Conclusion? I’m wrong. A lot. And while the Vanguard may have the rule of three going on, their members aren’t all restricting themselves to their main element, which is awesome.

Caliban-8 also mainly used Solar. Updated bc Caliban’s Hand exotic
Why isn't anyone talking about these hanging in Zavala's office?
According to Destiny lore he's not a Solar Titan and he's hated by the Sunbreakers, so why does he even have these in his office? The shield makes sense since he is a Void Titan but these two don't make sense.

A collection of the headcanons I have for my Guardians
I headcanon that…
Guardians rest and nap differently. Not wanting to generalize too much because I’m a very Titan-like Hunter which is why I am a Hunter. But.
Guardians nap differently even between subclass. Let’s start with Titan.
* Arc Titan’s are the most solo in the Titan nappers. They may choose to sleep in a group but they like alone time because with a lot of stimulation like the arc they use it fills them with jolts of energy.
* Void Titans try to refuse the nap. If they are asleep how can they properly protect their friends from harm? But when in the presence of their friends more often than not, they’ll sleep sitting against a wall. Soft snores heard from the helmet. (Though they’d never admit it.)
* Solar Titans are the most social nappers. They huddle for warmth and pile up wish their teammates. Wrapped in their arms or just cuddled up. They love the warmth of the touch and it soothes them.
For Worlocks it’s a whole different story. Most of the time they prefer solitude.
* Arc Warlocks are the middle social level of the nappers, they prefer to be in the presence of their team or friends if -big IF- they nap. They tend to fight it but when they do they prefer to just be in the presence of their team. Not exactly cuddling but in the area.
* Void Warlocks are the least social. They prefer to be cold, very cold. Not to be bothered they make a big deal about it. “I’m not napping I’m MEDITATING” or “ATTACK I DON’T WANT TO CUDDLE PLEASE STOP.” Let me love you… ;-;
* Solar Warlocks are in the most again. They choose like one person maybe two if they’re feeling adventurous and they prefer to directly cuddle. Hell most Solar Warlocks I’ve met are really cuddly and affectionate I love it.
Hunters are just… weird…
* Arc Hunters tend to recharge in large groups of other Arc subclasses. A sleeping pride of Hunters can be used as an Arc power source. The energy bouncing off each other causing a power boost on waking up. Though in the same breath when an Arc Hunters energy runs dry they go from this | to this __ in about 0.32 seconds and sleep immediately.
* Void Hunters sleep anywhere and everywhere. They tend to be the least social but have been known to congregate in Solar Titan’s cuddle huddle. It’s not uncommon to see a Void Hunter fall out of a tree. Off the rafters of the hanger. Sleeping under boxes or behind the post master.
* Solar Hunters tend to be the least social of them all. Most of them tend to be “too good for such things” big air quotes there. If one nap expect it to be against a wall or in a crevice someplace somewhat tactical in location. Though it’s not uncommon for three Solar Hunters to sit back to back snoozing away on a boring mission.
