Keylor Navas, when he became our number one I remember already trusting in him completely, because even with the heartbreak we went through with Iker he stepped up and showed us his heart was with Real Madrid, and it was as if he said ‘’I’ve got you, I know I’m not him but I will do my best.’’ His best was beyond incredible and he has become one of the greatest goalkeepers in the history of the sport.
I don’t think I can describe properly in words just how much this man means to me and it is so hard to type this because I can’t stop crying but I have to express my love for Keylor and just try to focus on the good times.
One moment that stands out to me often is when he was crying after La Undécima and he looked as if he was thinking he couldn’t believe he was experiencing something like this, and Lukita gave him a little kiss on the cheek, he went on to win two more of those with us, and many other trophies, both club and individual.
The relationship he built with everyone and especially Sergio is so beautiful, everyone loves Keylor because he radiates positive energy and kindness more than any other player I can think of, he is an angel to have in your squad.
Keylor, thank you so much for everything you have done for our crest, for how hard you continued to fight despite ungrateful fans and a president who kept trying to get rid of you, for loving this club with your whole heart and always showing us what true Madridismo looks like, I hope PSG treats him right and showers him with the love that he deserves, they are receiving a true legend who is impossible to replace because when you have had Keylor Navas, nobody else will do..
