Re-reading Madeline L’Engle’s “Many Waters”, and I find it hilarious how, in-universe, Sandy, Dennys and the whole of the human race after the flood have a nephil (fallen Angel) ancestor (Oholibama, Japheth’s wife, being the daughter of a nephil)

...maybe that’s why Charles Wallace is so odd?
