okay okay get ready for me yapping. there was some scam bot calling me on messenger in 2023 summer, named "Margit Ország". the pfp of the bot was some AI generated picture of an old woman, with heavy eyebags and lipstick. it was some kind of credit card scam, but since my Death Note obsession got back, i decided to make this really weird crack AU for it. now there was another scam bot, named "Szilágyi Balázs" who was spamming emails. fun fact, Szilágyi Balázs is some sort of chef in Hungary apperantly. so in this AU, Szilágyi is Kira, scammig criminals with porn ads (those 'Emily is 5 miles from you' kinds), so they meet up at a place he plans and then he kills them there. and Margit is MIsa, but with a little twist. she wants to be Kira (and the Bingo Master in a little side story). Her plan is to kill Szilágyi later. while Szilágyi thinks he's manipulating Margit, she's actually manipulating him. another fun fact, i drew this in class on the shittiest quality paper and a random market i found under my desk (it wasnt even mine)
what if AU where death note is just an in-universe work of fiction and all of them are just actors. i call this my coping AU LOL

It all started at the wammy’s! First year, they were both 13. It was rocky at the first half when they met. Infact, they despised eachother.
But ever since a project was assigned— they were put in a trio. And on that day, they became friends
But it was no more after mello and Miyu left. For two different reasons. Matt was alone
Now reunited in the future, now determined to die together

For a upcoming drawing, you will see that the Kal and Xelix (the two guys that Matt is in a band in), also have goggles. Reason why is that they liked the ‘aesthetic’ of the whole goggle thing Matt had going on so they kind of just did it aswell

So I handed lizzy a death note, let's see what she will do with it!
I honestly don't think she would use it unless it is to protect her loved ones and then after that it's mostly just her paranoid over getting potentially caught. Though I think it would lead to some good scenarios!
L stops suspecting him after a while but light still ends up getting caught later because he gets black out drunk, stands on a table and does his dramatic ass “I am the god of the new world” speech with a little bit of “L is so fucking hot id ride him like a pony” mixed in Infront of 50 other drunk and/or high teenagers and then falls off the table and passes tf out and the video of it ends up online. he is secretly more embarrassed of the video than of getting caught.
death note AU where light realizes he’s too perfect and innocent seeming and is like “what do teenage boys like that they would hide doing from their parents??? sex??? drugs??? Parties???” and takes the hardest right-hand turn in history because he has no idea what normal teenage boys do. like bro is attempting to maintaining his perfect image during the day, going to parties and being a whore and also maintaining his Kira killings and it’s just a disaster. just light, hungover af and coming down off molly or something trying to write names in his death note without puking all over it and just feeling absolute dread at the fact his alarm to get ready for his uni classes is gonna go of in 30 minutes.

Light is of course giving male model and we love him for it. Anyways yeh, here ya go. took me over 4hrs cause the symbiote was a fucking struggle!! and he still looks janky but eeh
