I like how both the Total Drama and Danganronpa fandoms agreed that Island-World Tour is Trigger Happy Havoc, Revenge of the Island is Goodbye Despair, and Pahkitew Island is Killing Harmony (and I guess Dramarama is Ultra Despair Girls and All-Stars is Ultimate Summer Camp). Which brings me to this question: what is the 2023 revival’s Danganronpa counterpart?

I haven't made a poll in a while but I'm bored so

I'm thinking of making a lil dc/danganronpa crossover but I cba to draw it rn so this is my opinion on which protagonist would be which robin / batgirl

(Edit: I made more of these - Next , Masterlist )

Nightwing - Makoto Naegi

- The first protag/robin

- Fandom tends to ignore their skills due to their positivity, also overemphasizing their niceness and effect on other characters

Oracle - Kyoko Kirigiri

- not a protag but hear me out

- both incredibly smart and help everyone with their intelligence and investigations

- often just thought of as a love interest to the first protag/robin rather than a complex character

Red Hood - Hajime Hinata / Izuru Kamakura

- Second protag/robin

- Someone did something that drastically changed his personality and life, when changed he kills people

- Robin 2 would be Hajime until he is turned into Red Hood/Kamakura before eventually he becomes a mix of the two (rejoins the bats)

Red Robin - Shuichi Saihara

- Took over from the last robin/protag because they died

- Seen as the smartest robin/protag

- Tim is canonly bi and Shuichi is the only main protag with a same-gender supporting character

Spoiler - Kaede Akamatsu

- The first female robin and the first female protagonist (in the main three games)

- Immediately died and got replaced with her male love interest

Black Bat - Komaru

- Not usually seen as an official protagonist/not an actual robin

- Overlooked fairly often, generally thought of because of one of her family members (komaru being Makoto's sister and Cass being seen as Bruce's favorite)

EDIT: Robin - Nagisa Shingetsu

(Tbh I don't know Nagisa that well yet but I thought this worked, ik he's not a protagonist but he was the leader of the WOH so I'm counting it)

- both have a lot of pressure from their family and we're raised in a fairly dangerous environment

- both very intelligent and seem pretty serious for their age (+ ages is another similarity)

Idk if anyone else had some this but I've been thinking ab it a lot lol. I can't think of who Signal would be in this so if anyone has an idea, I'm happy to add it in! I chose a batman in part 2

To summarize, I'm hyperfixating on both the batfamily and on danganronpa so I decided to turn the drp characters into DC vigilantes. I gave a little explanation on why I picked each character so yeah enjoy I guess!

DC / Danganronpa crossover part 5!

(Part 1 , Last , Masterlist)

If this is the first one you've seen - I'm making a crossover of DC comics and Danganronpa by assigning the characters a vigilante that I think suits them

This is some Gotham villains using characters from all three main games!

Joker - Junko Enoshima

- it's gonna be batfam-centric and I need her to be the main villain so joker was really the only option

- kinda crazy, abusive to their loved ones, tortured/killed some kids/teens

Harley Quinn - Mikan Tsumiki

- I wanna be clear that I do not ship Junko and Mikan (or Harley and Joker), I think their relationships are similar though

- Kinda forced into crime bc she thought an abusive serial killer loved her and she wanted to make them happy/prove herself

Poison Ivy - Ibuki Mioda

- This is a loose link (it's more that she fit the group rather than she fit the character) but I wanted to make Ibuki a villain as well as Mikan bc I wanted that relationship to stay.

- Also, I like harlivy and bandaid is a popular ship so I figured it'd be good.

Riddler - Tsumugi Shirogane

- Not that sure for this one but I needed Tsumugi to be a villain bc she's the mastermind

- The "it's all fiction" thing confused everyone in and out of the game (my interpretation here) and since she likes to tell people complicated and confusing things, the riddler felt like a good pick

Two Face - Toko Fukawa / Genocide Jill

- I originally put her as Robin but I felt this worked a lot better (I edited part one with my new robin pick)

- The split personality is not how DID works but it is kinda how two face works. One side is an intelligent, well-meaning person and the other is a serial killer

- She's like the only person I could imagine two face being, they're pretty similar characters if you think ab it

And then we have Mukuro and Monaca. Idk if I want Mukuro to be a villain or not but I have no idea who she should be either way. Pretty much the same problem with Monaca but I'm pretty sure she should be a villain? I might just make her jokers sidekick or smth because my head is empty. Please lmk if you have any ideas!

I don't know much about udg but I find it so funny that in thh toko just makes herself sneeze and in udg she straight up tazes herself

Like we had her passing out and waking up as Jill, her tickling her nose with her hair and then using a fucking tazer up against her head???

Picture 1:

child prodigy Tsumugi Shirogane. I like to think tsumugi grew up in show biz and that's how she got picked a director of Danganronpa V3. On the other hand Danganronpa team probably saw some potential in her when she interviewed at least but her being a prodigy is still a possibility. 😌

Picture 2 :

child korekiyo from my owl house au. I wanted to practice something with korekiyo and ended up choosing this version of him. He looks like he'd been crying now that I look at em. I wonder what made him cry before this scene. He looks happy at least ☺️.

Picture 3 :

sonia being an older sibling towards monaca (cause she really needed a better one). I have other ideas for this AU. I might transfer them over here one day.

Picture 4 :

korekiyo x Angie at the beach. (one with their swimsuit from Danganronpa S while the other with a swimsuit I made up lol). I wanted to practice drawing poses especially interactive ones.
