Okay, can someone please tell me why Dachshund is pronounced "doxen"? Like, how does that make sense? It looks like it should be pronounced "dash hund" or "dack shunned", frankly I thought it was pronounced "dash hound" because that was the closest thing that sounded like a real name, h on earth did they get "doxen" from Dachshund? I'm pretty sure this is why everyone just calls them Wiener Dogs

dear everyone who has said this: I would like to bring up a thought experiment. this is a pitbull i found off of google.
you would assume he is big and scary right ? because they were bread specifically to help fight bears by grabbing the ears and head. they are strong dogs. scary huh? now let me get another dog for you. this is a dachshund.
isnt this lil guy adorable? he is shaped like a cute silly little hot dog!!! Dachshunds were bred to fight badgers, which if you don't know are incredibly aggressive violent animals. Any dog can be dangerous if mistreated. Being a dog racist isn't going to protect your children from the big bad elderly pit bull who is peacefully sitting in his owners backyard. the only time i condone eradicating a dog breed is if the breed is unhealthy, like pugs for example. -sincerely, someone who lost a pitbull due to someone poisoning his food.

when I was on a chain carousel a girl that sat in front of me lost her hat but I caught it with my shoe and the guy behind me yelled: ,,Nice catch!''

This drawing absolutely refused to be leashed btw. I meant to keep it close to the original concept’s style, but without a time-limit or some other form of restraint I think I end up with too much leeway sometimes. Not that I’m displeased! I quite enjoyed getting to bother my dog for this one.
Now that it’s summer break I’m hoping I’ll be able to create art more frequently.
