As Dibble once said so eloquently:   “GRUMPY CUTIE!!!!” I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to pay attention tot his shot.  I can’t get over how cuddly and adorable Grumpy looks here. What’s really interesting to me is that it seems like for almost any other Care Bear (especially ones like Cheer, Tendy, Share, Funshine), seeing them have a face like this feels a lot more normal.  It’s really easy to me picture taking this same picture and just changing the color to make it another Bear.   That’s actually something I really love about the Care Bears…how they look exactly the same apart from color and tummy symbols.  Some view that as a fault in the animation, but I really enjoy it.  It gives them a unifying spirit. But, because you see so many more shots of Grumpy frowning or looking sad or angry, it makes it that much more special to me when you see him all adorable and happy.
