Eijiro had less luck finding people along the beach than he’d hoped, and it eventually occurred to him that he didn’t even know how many other people there were on the island. With how big the map made things look, who knew how long it could take to find someone. Maybe he should focus on finding some shelter or food instead..

This brings him into the forest, though he was nervous of running into wild animals or maybe whoever had taken all of them had traps or something. His quirk was good protection, but it wasn’t unbeatable, something he was quickly reminded of as he broke through a thicket and into a more open part of the forest, where he saw another man.

Eijiro froze, the man looked reasonably older than him, but it wasn’t like he could tell if someone was a hero or villain just by looking at them. And even if the man was a villain, well he didn’t remember it. The reasoning allowed the red head to relax a bit, throwing the man a hesitant smile. He’d just be nice and then the other guy wouldn’t have a reason not to be in return. 

“Uh, hi.. Are you stranded here too?”

Bad bad bad this was bad. He read over the note again, and again. Hero or villain, no mention of civilians. Which means, having no quirk, Kagero had to be a villain right? What kinda hero had no quirk? 

He sighs picking up the pack and heading into the forest. He would have to get materials, and he was particularly interested in finding those clues that were mentioned.

Hopefully he could avoid the others for a while
