Now that the Halloween season is around the corner, please remember do NOT just gift people clowns/clown eggs! Clowns are living, breathing beings with needs and personalities of their own, and they need to be treated as such.

I keep seeing videos of people getting creepy clowns as a cute halloween thing without doing proper research on how to care for them!

Please remember that clowns are a long term commitment and not just some fashion statement!

I'd just like to tack on a reminder that clowns are NOT low maintenance pets in the slightest! Most breeds require a LOT of money, space, and time to upkeep properly. If you cannot afford/ don't have enough space for a circus tent, permanent bouncy house, and ball pit, then you should spring for a teacup or porcelain clown!! Please don't get a full size breed that you cannot take care of!!

Improper clown housing

Enclosures like these do not provide the same comfort and safety that bouncy castles, and bouncy houses, and ball pits provide. Getting a bubble like this for your clown because “you like the aesthetic” is cruel. The see through bubble will make your clown feel improperly hidden or and safe which can lead to severe stress and panic attacks. This bubble will provide little to no enrichment for you clown. It can also be a hazard, some clown breeds have poor eyesight similar to how birds can’t see glass and have poor depth perception. This is why having brightly colored and padded walls such as in a bouncy house are crucial for the safety of your clowns. Clowns deserve a place to feel comfortable and safe. These bubble houses should not be used as a replacement for a bouncy house or ball pit. Sadly I have seen them be marketed as a two in one replacement for both. New clown owners need to be aware of this and steer clear of these.

Is having a mime like having a cat? Wherein you have to introduce the mime to another mime early in its life for it to be ok with other mimes?

Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of people going: “My mime keeps fighting with my other clowns!” And it’s like ???? YEAH NO SHIT??

I can’t believe I actually have to say this in 2023 but

Mimes are NOT social breeds!

Like, you can’t seriously expect a mime to share the same tent as a rodeo or a jester without any consequence? Unless they are raised together, your mime is just going to perceive the other clowns as a threat.

Prolonged exposure to close contact with another breed is damaging to your mime’s mental health. It’s not okay. Look after your fucking mime.

Hey Clownblr I have a genuine question. What kind of bed does a clown need? Does it vary from breed to breed? Would they need a human sized twin bed or maybe a bed of hay? I am genuinely curious please reblog or reply to let me know.

Clownblr, I need your help!!!

I was watching Dropout.tv’s Make Some Noise earlier and I was delighted to see some clowns make an apoearance!

I’m fairly new to clown husbandry so I was wondering if i could get some help identifing the breeds.

Theres a few that I have a pretty good idea about

Like, this is a rodeo clown if I’ve ever seen one:

And I think this might be some kind of circus/party mix?

And this one I’m pretty sure has been crossed with an impersonator or comedian, as they seem to be impersonating Dropout CEO Sam Reich

But there are others who I don’t really have a clue about

If I could get some help identifying these breeds I would greatly appreciate it!

Found a cool drawing tutorial online by @bubb.lyyy on TikTok, so I drew my clownsona Brenda in it!

I redesigned my clownsona, Brenda! She’s an agent of chaos and lover of cotton candy, no matter how hyper it makes her-

Introducing Val O'Hara of the Cirque du Dash

While we continue to work on some upcoming announcements behind the scenes, we'd like to add a little colour to the DashCon 2 universe! Some of you may have heard of their ringleader, but we're happy to introduce you to more of our mascots, the Cirque du Dash! (We’re Canadians, we have to throw in a little French once in a while.)

Given the ball pit and the chaotic nature of “DashCon 2” as an idea, we thought we’d theme the convention aesthetics around a circus. We want DashCon 2 to have some of its own personality - riding exclusively on the legacy of DashCon just won’t do. We'll be announcing the last two blorbos throughout the month, along with some more content that'll really let you get to know them better! As always, all art is by @paintbrushinacoffeecup

can someone help me identify this clowns breed?

ii found this little guy barking at a mail man last week, they seem to have no owner so i've decided to keep them.

this is my first clown and i'm very excited, but ii need to know what breed they are

they like to sleep a lot and i'm not sure if that means they're sick or its just the breed? i've been feeding them popcorn and ice cream, and set up a ball pit for them.

i'd appreciate any advice!

Now as a avid clown lover I would love to have a older party clown though I don't think I have any clown adoption agencies

Guys help I think I accidentally adopted a clown. It’s a juggalo but I don’t know much about it other than that. So far it really seems to like Taco Bell but I don’t know what else to feed it, does anyone know what I should do? Just asking for help here
