I personally think that Crunchy Chip Cookie was evidently unsettled by the crumbs buried in Choco Mud Town, probably because, as we know, Dark Cacao Kingdom values honor so solemnly that even till a cookie has crumbled, the cookie is continued to be honored and remembered like the Altar of the Fallen. It can be said that crumbling is not uncommon in the Dark Cacao Kingdom ("—you dealt with life and death in the borders of your kingdom" by Wildberry Cookie, and he agreed) but you would be buried with remembrance of your honor at least there, while in Choco Mud Town, you wouldn't and you can be stepped on by those who pass by. Hence, Crunchy Chip Cookie might have felt that something was off about it.
