Singularity, Serendipity, Euphoria.

I have no words to express my love for these three songs of our vocal line. I literally listen to Serendipity in the morning, Euphoria when I’m surrounded by joyous feeling inside, and Singularity at night. Can’t wait to hear the one sung by Jin. First fanart in 2018. Do not repost. Thank you Namjoon for your wonderful, golden lyrics throughout the time.

Soulmates, 4 O’Clock, The Moon

I asked who that friend was, and Taehyung mostly answered, “It’s Jimin.” 

Now I really like dawn too, along with the moon.

Taehyung’s velvet voice and Namjoon’s soulful words brought me to peace the first time I listened to the song. Strongly based on it, this fanart of Jimin and Taehyung is a piece of fun experimental work. I played with palettes I’ve never had before, the play of contrast left me baffled but also feeling wondrous. The more you try new things, the more you learn what to do and what not to do. I thank for all of you who always appreciate my works, dear ARMYs. 

BTS Chibi Mini Guide

My personal favorite is Hoseok and Yoongi

It’s been so long since I wanted to make this mini guide of my own bangtan chibi style! I also use this for my own guide since I often forgot particular things when drawing them in chibi mode. 

As you might have seen on soooo many many chibi art style out there for our seven boys, I agree that some facial details are indeed, undeniably important. 

Common characteristics already drawn by other artists are also can be seen on my guide (like Tae’s boxy smile, Jimin’s cushion lips, Hoseok’s heart lips, etc.) and I keep those accuracies intact in my style also. Mine isn’t perfect at all, and there may be inaccuracies in their real facial features, but at least I managed to tell the difference between each of the boys!

Still BTS related but having a break from the boys. I found myself experimenting again with softer palette and waterbrush. 

I read the novel pretty hurriedly because I was still on family business (a bad idea, for real) and skimming some sentences, so pardon me for inaccuracies on my depiction of Demian and Sinclair here. But in fact no matter what the descriptions are I can’t help but keep imagining these two exactly like how I drew them in this piece! :’) 

The faces, haircolors, skintones, and the outfits (perhaps I should have draw them in the same uniform but my imagination is stubborn enough) is a perfect depiction of them in my head and I’m so satisfied with this work. I was about to draw Abraxas behind them but in the end I chose for a simple book cover-ish designs. Also I scraped off the idea of drawing their forehead signs. I like them looking like normal human just like how they are in the earlier chapters.  Even until now I do relate the most to Sinclair, and I hope that somehow I will be able to have a meeting with my own Demian (and his mother), perhaps with different adventures. It’s always nice to meet someone who is your “kind”, right?

BTS Seven Deadly Sins AU

Kim Namjoon (Greed) and Kim Seokjin (Gluttony)

Highly inspired from the masterpiece Welcome Home by @sheepishfiction 

Greed meets gluttony in a casino of course.  Namjoon bets high, and then higher, cards and chips changing hands faster than what Seokjin can keep up with.  Seokjin is content to just watch.  He comes for the seafood buffets, and stays for the generous amounts of free alcohol being served by the scantily dressed ladies on the gambling floor. 

The first pair, Namjoon and Seokjin, is done! I began on starting the draft of the seven boys a month after I read the fic, and I just realized that I drew some of them not exactly as described in the fic (for example like Seokjin here, he isn’t supposed to be sitting with his chips) :’D but I keep on drawing it and I feel content with the result! 

Namjoon here has light blonde hair and is wearing his outfit (my favorite one) at the Golden Disk Awards 2017 while Seokjin has pink hair and wears his initial outfit in DNA (my favorite combination). By the way I have never been to a casino before, so here’s the closest manifestation of how I imagine the setting they are in, complete with the lighting. Don’t forget to read the fic, it’s thrilling and beyond marvelous! I adore the work soooo much!

This year has been so meaningful to me and you guys are also the ones who made it possible! Here is our lovely Jimin to bedazzle our timeline~

No matter what we’re going through, the light will always be at the end of the tunnel and of course, serendipities alongside every step of our walk. Much love to all of you my dearies!

JIMIN [170222] Gaon Chart Music Awards

Long time no see, lovelies! I miss all of you on tumblr. This platform has been nothing but my second home. As a comeback present, here’s one piece that I really cherish because I did this when I’m still in my middle stage of stanning the boys. 

Remember that one time Jimin was captured on the camera and then he smiled while his cheeks were glowing like pink glazed donut? He was so adorably shy and beautiful at that moment. After I saw that video, I couldn’t resist to draw him. This angle on that event is one of my favorite.

Also I used a reference from his infamous fansite, but I forgot which picture :( Perhaps it was from jamjam.kr? You can correct me if I’m wrong. I did this around 1 or 2 years ago and currently I can’t find the picture again.

Even though I drew this using Faber Castell 48 Watercolour Pencils Parrot, I didn’t dare to blend the colors using the water because I did this at my father’s small desk. There’s so many electronic wires around so I won’t take any risk (I’m really a clumsy person!). Hence the blending result isn’t as smooth as the Classic Colour Pencils. But the pigment really pays off and I like it a lot. I hope you enjoy this too. Don’t forget to take care of yourself always, lovelies.

JIMIN [170731] BTS MEMORIES OF 2016

Park Jimin in FIRE (불타오르네) era is so mesmerizing and once I saw the picture of him scanned by Celsius_613 from the photobook, I knew I had to draw him. This was done at the same time I drew Jimin at Gaon Chart Music Awards on the previous post. Different page. 

I was trembling, you know? Drawing such beauty took my breath away and I was really nervous that I’m afraid I won’t do the picture justice. Jimin in black hair is so majestic. I’m thankful I managed to at least do the details well. The paper was quite small and at some point I forgot to sharpen my colouring pencil hehe you can see the hair isn’t quite detailed. 

Lovelies, I sincerely hope that today you are fine. Also, may I remind you that comeback is nearing? Yass.

Singularity, Serendipity, Euphoria, Epiphany.

The complete Love Yourself vocal line is finally here. The last one, Epiphany, really speaks to my core. I have been there, when I was helpless, unable to even realize that I deserve my own love. Seokjin’s voice is so gentle yet powerful. The lyrics of the song is a beautiful reminder. 

Love Yourself series are truly enchanting. Our journey on discovering ourselves will continue on the next album. Until then, please look forward for the rap line version. I will make them based on their trivia songs, or perhaps mixtapes. Perhaps both!

BTS Deadly Sins AU (previews)

These are drawing studies, actually, as some of you can see I'm referencing their exact faces and angles from footages/photoshoots. It's for drafts only, because I'm donna redraw all of them with my style. It's safe to say that I can call these as previews, though, since I won't stray too far away from the scenes I'm already trying to portray. Of course, these are still based on the amazing fanfic "Welcome Home" by @sheepishfiction ✨

I have two Jimins because I can't choose which draft I'm going to use, but I think the one where he's laying in bed is considerably proper for his sin (which is Lust). The other illustration of Jimin though, actually connects to Jungkook's one! It's the scene where they first met at the bar. Yet, I don't think it properly showcases Jungkook's sin (Pride) as an individual illustration. I will see which part of the fic I can comfortably draw him as his sin.

I already like both drafts of Yoongi (Sloth) and Taehyung (Envy). Will still redraw them though, maybe Yoongi with a bit of slouched position on the floor with fire as his background, and Taehyung's will have a glimpse of other person beside him who managed to catch the tiger plushies while he couldn't.

Hoseok! Gosh I love him the most in the fic, his sin (Anger) suits him so much, which is why I will work hard on his portrayal since the scene where he snapped hard gives me thrill. I will draw more suitable expression for him, the one in the draft is so lacking. I have better ideas on my brain.

Namjoon (Greed) and Seokjin (Gluttony) are, technically, finished, but I want to polish their drawings so it suits my real style. Nothing much will change for these two, unlike others.

That's it for my update. Life's been rough and surprising, and I was sick for half a year, but I managed to catch my muses again! Miss you guys. Will update again later! I wish us all good times in life ❤
