Sammy Turner is a young boy who is half-merfolk; born from pirate Alex Turner and his wife, mermaid-turned-pirate Cathy Turner.

As a merfolk, Sammy is an axolotl just like his mother. He’s growing accustomed to living both on land and underwater. Although his parents’ lives are dangerous, Sammy is well loved and protected by them and the rest of Captain David Jones’ crew.
