currently thinking about how tommy said that ctommy waking up underwater every day in exile was a metaphor for his mental health, and that the further and further out to sea he got and the further he was sinking the more deteriorated he became and eventually he would end up unable to resurface had they not done something about cdream.
currently thinking about how if ctommy couldn't resurface, he'd drown in his own thoughts, believing his friends and family all hated him. nobody would see the kid they once knew in him anymore. maybe he'd never be seen again at all.
currently thinking about how ctommy saw one anxious, forgetful enderman lad, roped him into a crime, and took 100% of the fall when they didn't get away with it. ctommy could have ignored the situation. he didnt have to go to ctubbo and say "it was just me, man". as cranboo said, he could have said it was all him. there was evidence it was him.
but i think that after everything, ctommy would still be unable to live with himself if it'd been cranboo in exile instead of him. on the surface, he's a child. a soldier and a veteran and a criminal, yes, but still a child.
but beneath that, he's learnt. he's decided he'd rather throw himself into trouble than let his friends go through any amount of suffering.
i think that if cranboo were to ask, "why did you do that?" ctommy would sigh, that familiar shaky sigh we all know, and he'd speak quietly in reply, "i know what some of those bastards are capable of. i'd rather go through all that than have you do it for me. plus, it wasn't your fault."
or maybe that's just me.

Hopes For Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
OKAY, OKAY, OKAY I'm CALM NOW I JUST, WHAT THE FUCK GAMEFREAK?! LET LEGENDS ARCEUS BE A THING FOR ANOTHER YEAR! OKAY, I LOVE THESE GAMES THOUGH?! IT'S JUST WHAT THE FUCK?!
Okay now that my rants over here are my hopes for the Gen IX games!
* Feel like a main series game. For all the talk the PLA is main series aside from some call-forwards, it feels more like a glorified side game. This is thanks to only having 242 Mons to Swsh's approx. 651, the incredibly limited move pool, the bare-bones post-game with nothing to do after you fill your dex, and the lack of multiplayer. This game sometimes feels like the Let's go games but with extra steps. Speaking of those games
* Give us the option to interact with our Pokemon immediately after events. In Let's go, checking on the Partner after a TRio battle would show their exasperated reactions. Give us that!
*Optional affection bonuses. I loved the fact that we could play with our Pokemon and it would affect our battles. The messages I'd receive ranged from heartwarming to hilarious, and having my mon tank or dodge an attack made me feel great because I took the time to work on its affection. That said, I know many people aren't fans of it. So, take the middle road, have their interactions, have the messages, but let the actual bonuses received from those interactions be optional.
* Just be good enough that PLA feeling like an overhyped cash grab thanks to coming out the same year as it is worth it.
I love Pokemon, I really truly do, but I'm not so blind to its flaws that I think they're perfect. Please let these games be as incredible as the reveal trailers imply they'll be.

imagine andre and cal’s college dorm if zero day hadn’t happened. they wouldn’t have “sides” of the room to decorate or live in; they’d just use the whole room as one. cal would hang posters everywhere of musicians and movies he likes. andre would have tons of books and make sure everything is neat. they’d end up pushing their beds together by the end of the semester because they hate sleeping on twin beds. (also, they get to sleep closer to one another, but neither one of them will admit that.) maybe andre would get diagnosed with autism and be able to bring mel as an emotional support animal. any time either of the boys got stressed with school work or was tired, she would hop up next to them and start cuddling.
they could have had a good life together. instead, they’re together in the afterlife, stuck in ungrowing bodies and dwindling souls.

i feel like the reason he is the way he is, is because of unreceived attention and bullying, like “THEY NEVER CARED ABOUT ME, WHY SHOULD ABOUT CARE ABOUT THEM” but he is just talking about like ages from 5 to 10
most definitely theater kid, and the dramatic kind like there is now way he is not into theatrics probably the reason he got bullied as a kid seen Hamilton at least once
speaking of theatric kale, he also probably writes poems and it’s the edgy cringy kind of poems as well he only has fun while writing them after finishing them he reads them through he’s just like “yeah no” and because of that he has a super secret and complex safe just for whatever notebook he has those poems written in
also when chai and the gang finds it and opens the safe, ‘cus of course they will since it looks suspicious as fuck, it’s just gonna be like Chai: HE WRITES POEMS?! Peppermint: HE STILL WRITES POEMS?!
i know that the accepted relationship between him and Mimosa is Mimosa looking up to him, but personally i find the idea of them friends more appealing like they’re the cliché mean girls high school duo that judges and gossips about everybody
that being said Mimosa was probably his only friend, which is sad, but it’s kale so not really
probably has anger issues, not the violent outburst kind, but more like Dylan yelling at his old baking recipes or kitchen wear (i have such a clear image of him just yelling “CEASE AND DESIST” to an oven)
since it is canon that he is a dog person,(which just makes me so giddy for no reason) i like to think he is just the most aggressive dog person a dog person can be like at some point somebody in the boss team was like “it would probably be nice to have meetings outside every once in a while” but that had to be scrapped because he would just disappear every 10 minutes ‘cus he somehow found a dog just chillin’ and decided that it needed to be pet like i feel like he could have been bribed with dogs in someway and the whole final boss fight could have been avoided
as much he is a poor little meow meow, he is also kind of a malewife material my mind cannot be changed about this
he probably has been living by basically himself since like the age of 15 he definitely knows his way around the kitchen at least
also back to the dog person bit at first i was like “so who the hell made the conscious decision to make Rouqefort into a mecha warewolf?” but it was definitely Kale and Rouqefort probably approved and i don’t know which one is worse
this man has been living in my head rent free for god knows how long
