loneliness is deeply rooted in me. not in the sense that i don't have people whom i care for or who care for me but, in the sense that i can never genuinely connect to someone closely because as a child i was the only one who had my back. it is so hard to because you know that people will eventually turn you down or maybe you will eventually turn them down because that feeling of belonging was never there for you
