i love the idea that his angelicness and etherealness cannot be computed by the human mind that he literally looks distorted or horrifying to the human eye

but not horrifying as in "ugly" but sometimes nina would blink and there'd be too many eyes around Mr Fell's face, or sometimes Maggie would rub her eyes and when she looks back up Mr Fell's face is just blacked out with only his piercing blue eyes as the only detail.
