Assuming he DOES want to be crumbled... I think that explains his malice to a certain degree. I believe him when he says that it's out of boredom, But what better way to get people to attack and possibly kill you then being one of the worst cookies to exist?
What's possibly sadder is he might not even realize he secretly wants that. Burning Spice Cookie he might have gotten to the point where he's using the destruction of others to escape the existentialism of immortality.

I think burning spice might...want to be crumbled. If you look at his character description along with some of his dialogue, He seems to be somewhat envious of things being able to be destroyed. Growing bored with things always changing and wanting to break that cycle.
"Nothing lasts forever. And yet... I am" He may claim destruction doesn't have a reason but I think he's secretly has one that He doesn't recognize.
He's the common trope of someone who has immortality, but realizes the pitfalls of it. He's still grows bored, but he also envies the ability to change the world around him has. As someone who has to embody a certain trait, He never had the CHOICE to change. At least that's what i think.

And this could also make a relationship between Burning Spice Cookie and Capsation Cookie (But even if it doesn't it's still a nice idea)
Assuming back then that burning spice really wanted... To join his ancestors in the spice storm we'll say, What better way to do that than have a successor? Assuming he was still a good person when this happened, he could have made Capsation Cookie to become the new hero of change and also crumble him, that way the soul jam of change could stay in good hands... At least once that could take the burden of being a soul jam bearer.
Of course, we all know Capsation Cookie cares deeply for what he destroys, So it definitely wasn't going to work... Maybe Capsation Cookie got his fear of hurting others from Burning Spice... If your own creator made you just to crumble them, I imagine it would give you some sort of complex.

The first part of the lore is almost exactly the same as the canon lore: All seven of them were once emissaries of the Godly Creators, but eventually fell from grace and turned evil. They were stripped of their Soul Jams shortly after, but that’s not how it ends for them.
After being stripped of their Soul Jams, they needed to find somewhere to take refuge. Pure Vanilla kicked them out of his kingdom before they could even step in, Dark Cacao got his suspicions after a while, Golden Cheese spoiled them rotten to the core, and White Lily was treating Galactic Wolf like a baby. Eventually, they landed on Hollyberry, and once she found out all seven of them are staying permanently, she decided it was time for her to accept all seven of them as her adoptive children.
