I just know for a fact that this man would do absolutely anything you tell him to do, even if it's just a joke.

Even if you mention something in passing, such as an annoying colleague that's pestering you, Chuuya is all ears. Depending on the severity situation he will either flat out cuss the person out right in front of you OR he will most likely do something like this - he won't say much, he'll hear you out and will not interrupt you at all. His face is flat as he holds a cigarette, making sure to redirect the smoke elsewhere that wasn't your face. As cute as you were to see so riled up, Chuuya was only okay with it if he was the reason why you were riled up. Anything else is off the table. If he sees a chance, Chuuya will pry for more information such as the name of the person, where they live, possible hobbies and routines, literally anything. In the heat of the moment you tell him everything you know, huffing in annoyance as you keep on rambling, completely unaware of the brewing storm inside of his head.

Chuuya made sure to keep his actual job hidden from you. A sense of normalcy and stability is something he craves like a man who was being starved to death and after endless years of search and betrayal, he found a lifelong companion in you. He hated lying but Chuuya simply wasn't ready to tell you absolutely everything about himself, not yet.

However, he was all too aware of the power he had. All the cards were in his hands and he was going to make his move.

It might take him a day or so to find his target but he makes sure to be as brutal as he can be. His ability truly was a godsend in this situation, the screams of your tormentor was like music to Chuuya's ears. His hands were in his pockets as he grinned at his victim, his ability crushing his body and organs, leaving a heaping pile of rotting flesh on the floor, all for the flies to devour. The mafioso left the apartment with a smug feeling in his chest but he still needed to be careful. Just because he could kill someone for you doesn't mean that he should.

People like this were a fine exception though. He was sure that you'd be freaking out with the news that the man had died such a horrific death but he also knew that you would be over it just as fast.

He was more than ready to guide you through it all. Say the word and he will give it everything he has.

Chuuya never having been a vampire is objectively hilarious

But it makes no sense

If he was never a vampire then why was Fyodor waiting for him to show up. He would have no reason to believe Chuuya would show up because he’s not a vampire. It’s not some secret info he would have been able to get from the other vampires at the prison because, and again I want to stress this fact, he was never a vampire to begin with

Also there’s no way Fyodor was actually fooled by some fake fangs and eye contacts. This is someone who can go toe to toe with both Dazai and Ranpo and who is also a fantastic actor himself who we have seen using disguises. He would have known.

And if Chuuya really was never a vampire then why didn’t he just kill Fyodor. Or at the very least not save him. He was in the perfect position. We already know he had a gun on him. And there are multiple times where Fyodor turned his back to him. He could have just shot him.

Not to mention the fact that it kind of ruins all the moments between skk. The abject horror at realising the person who knows you the most and you trust with your life is being used by the enemy to kill you. For their free will to be taken away. Being put in a position where you have to kill them to save the world.

Only for that never to have been the case.

I don’t know. I just feel like it was a weird choice.

part 1

!!! these are just personal headcanons and are not accurate to the canon story !!!

✦ Chuuya :

Chuuya’s parents weren’t blessed with a child even after years of marriage…

…So when he was born, they were so happy that they celebrated 3 days and nights (like the real Chuuya Nakahara !!)

Such a sweet boy… very polite and a tiny bit shy

He actually had an amazing bond with both his parents

And they loved him a lot, too!

How mini Chuuya would help his mom around the house, how he would randomly tell her that he loves her :,^)

Chuuya was probably interested in his father’s work (military doctor, like the real Chuuya’s father!!)

AUGHH he would peek at his dad working with those big blue curious eyes

Also, unlike Dazai, I headcanon that Chuuya has siblings!

2 little sisters!!

When his first little sister was born, he was probably around 3 or 4

Was quick to grow attached to his sister

And when his second sister came around, he was around 7

Was very overprotective of his sisters, and had a big soft spot for them

Would piggyback carry their younger sister every morning to school while holding his other sisters hand

Brilliant kid

Adored by absolutely everyone and everything

Chuuya and the family dinners with the rest of the Nakahara family SIGHHH

His mom always worried about him not eating enough (even though he did.)

His dad developed this hobby and habit of checking Chuuya and his sisters’ heights and mark them on the wall

Chuuya wasn’t the happiest when he figured that his younger sister was nearly the same height as him…

And regarding Stormbringer and how he was put in a lab…

Ohhh how his mom was losing her mind over Chuuya’s father allowing such a thing

His family kind of… grew distant and fell apart from then on

Constant arguing between his parents while he was in the lab… how his sister would cover their younger sister’s ears each time they’d argue

She’d ask where Chuuya had gone every now and then, but it was like a forbidden topic in the house

His mom would either tear up or just lash out on his sister

And his dad would yell and cuss her out, saying things like “Goddammit stop asking stupid questions! He’s fine for god’s sake!!! Be patient and he’ll be back sooner than you think!!!”

Chuuya’s dad wasn’t very happy with the decision he made either

Regretting it like crazy and losing sleep, losing focus…

And once the news broke that their one and only son was dead (aka his clone… fuck stormbringer bro…)

His family was worse than ever before.

Chuuya’s dad cried… a lot. Fell into being an alcoholic for a long time

His sisters? Despite their young age and how they couldn’t wrap their heads around the idea of death…

They were devastated. Completely had their hearts and souls shattered

But his mom… she was the worst out of them all

It broke her so much that she couldn’t even cry over her son’s death

She was left in a daze, unaware of her surroundings and just… in her own world

Though, once it registered in her mind? How she would scream and cry at odd hours of the night, begging for Chuuya…

She would push away anyone who would try to comfort her, hit them and curse them out, only wanting Chuuya

Even though Chuuya’s ‘death’ had sunk in and she understood it, she’d scream at everyone to get away from her and that ‘only Chuuya can come close to her’

S*icide attempts became a regular thing

…the amount of times Chuuya’s dad was called during work hours and just rushed home to stop his wife from taking her life…

His sister lost sleep and stopped being the top student at school because of how difficult everything had become

Their younger sister was a bit better, considering she was small

But it still hurt, she’d call Chuuya out of habit, just to remember that he was never gonna answer her calling out to him

His mom’s situation got so bad that she was hospitalized for years

And even now that the entire Nakahara family has accepted Chuuya’s ‘death’

His mom hasn’t. She’s doing a lot better than before getting hospitalized but…

She always seems to be spaced out. She doesn’t smile or laugh, and even when she does… it seems forced and it’s only for a brief moment

His mom doesn’t talk much, not to anyone

She often spends her time talking to framed pictures of Chuuya. She still cries every now and then, but tries to hide it…

And honestly? I think that Chuuya has considered going back to his family

He’s coincidentally seen his sisters and made sure they got home safely from school/work while watching from afar… then return to his own work

It scares him to go back, not only because of him putting their lives on the line for being a mafia executive

But also because he’s supposed to be ‘dead’. That’s what his family believed and has learned to live with…

So if he were to show up at his childhood home, he’d make them confused

And he can’t even imagine how they would react if he were to go back

So Chuuya just watches over them from a distance…

But maybe, just maybe one day he’ll gather up the courage and listen to the voice in his head telling him to go back

That day won’t be anytime soon, not now. He can’t go back until he’s sure the time is right for him to do so.

Until then, Chuuya just prays that they’ll stay safe and alive…

That’s when he can return to his family, his home…

Turn offs 

Chuuya is someone who has been through alot and has been manipulated in the past so if you are an manipulative person, he’d dislike that especially if you tried to manipulate him 

He doesn’t like weak minded or willed people. If you are easily swayed or don’t stand up for your beliefs, he’d think that's a weakness thus unattractive to him. 

He also doesn’t like superficial people i.e. someone who is only with him for his looks/ status or money. He may have all of those but he’s a busy man who doesn’t have time to waste on superficial people who don’t genuinely care for him 

He wont like anyone controlling either. If you don’t respect him enough to trust his decisions and have faith in his actions then he doesn't want you. He is a Port Mafia Executive for a reason and that reason is that he’s capable of taking care of situations by himself and making decisions

Going off the controlling part, he would hate it if his S/O or someone he’s interested in tried to change him i.e. get him to leave the Port Mafia. He’s devoted to the Mafia and he won’t leave them for anyone, no matter how special they are. It is part of his life and if they try change that, he views it as them not respecting him which is a huge turn off 

He wouldn't want an overly clingy S/O as he is often away on missions so he’d find someone who is overly reliant on him unattractive as it clashes with his lifestyle 

On the flip side he wouldn’t want someone who would smother/baby him too much as he’d find it insulting and demeaning to his reputation and himself. He is perfectly capable of looking after himself so someone babying him would irritate him I think 

Chuuya is someone who would enjoy teasing in my opinion but someone who teases him in public or flirts in order to annoy him would get under his skin and annoy him thus he’d view it as a turn off

On the other hand Chuuya would find it unattractive if someone one was too serious or couldn’t let loose. If they were too uptight and didn’t know how to have fun once in a while Chuuya would find them dull. 

Turn ons 

Chuuya finds it insanely attractive if someone lives life to the fullest and enjoys trying new things. If they are willing to go for random 3am motorcycle rides and watch the stars or go on a spontaneous trip to Paris, Chuuya will love them

He also finds it attractive if they introduce new things to him, since he works alot he doesn't often have time to try out new new things so if his S/O can show him a new bar in Yokohama or a new type of cuisine he’s never tried before, he’ll love them. This man chases after life and living life to the fullest so anyone who can help him is attractive to him 

He likes someone who is independent and can take care of themselves. He doesn’t need the responsibility of making sure his S/O is okay so he likes it if they can take care of themselves so he doesn’t have to worry about them while he’s busy on missions. 

He also likes strong minded people who aren’t afraid of backing down on their beliefs and opinions. He finds this attractive as it takes guts to stick by what you believe, which is something he greatly respects. 

He would like someone intelligent so he can talk to them and have deep conversations about whatever he likes, he dislikes superficial conversation in my opinion. 

We all know that Chuuya takes great care in his appearance, so he'd find it attractive if his S/O did the same.  Someone with good fashion taste would be ideal for CHuuya. I can see this man wanting to have matching outfits (stylish of course.)

He’d like it if his S/O was affectionate and showed him that they love him with small gestures like running him a bath when he got home or cooking him dinner. He is someone who’d appreciate physical affection so an affectionate S/O would be ideal for him. 

Someone who is mature enough to deal with his trauma would also be ideal, so someone who is open minded and a good listener would be attractive as it lets him vent when he needs to.  Also allows him to carry on working where he’s happy while having the support he needs. 

Finally I believe he’d find patience attractive. Someone who can handle his bad temper and still keep calm would be attractive as it would give him space to calm down as well and rationally talk things out rather than them escalating situation with their own temper.
