I love going to cafés.

Scratch that! I love going to that one café, every single morning on my way to work.It is a quaint little café around the corner, serving the most delicious coffee on the planet and the most exquisite view.

Of the guy.

Behind the counter.

Okay I admit I go to that café to look at Mr.Adonis behind the counter!

But in my defence he is most beautiful man I’ve ever laid my eyes on.His dazzling smile, rosy plump lips, scruffy blonde hair, angelic eyes, I could go on and on all day long.It has become my daily routine to go to the café,order a cup of latte, take the seat near the window and gawk at him.....and then show up late for work.I know it sounds borderline stalkerish but I just can’t help it because I consider it my duty to appreciate true beauty and also because I’m hopelessly attracted to him.

And this hopeless attraction turns me into a shy high school girl who blushes profusely , chickens out and freezes whenever she sees her crush.Every single night I make up my mind, give myself pep talks to ask him out and I fail miserably the next morning .I had even planned on writing a letter to him ( inspired by Lara Jean) but I gave up on it. I just want to ask him out and turn my cheesy romantic daydreams into reality.

Today, I’m running a little late to work but I decide to stop by the café to pick up a cup of coffee,the key to my survival. I enter the cafe to be welcomed by the wonderful aroma of coffee and Mr.Adonis’s glorious face behind the counter.

Wait a minute!

Mr.Adonis’s glorious face?Where is the other barista who usually takes my order? How am I supposed to order without stuttering like a lovesick fool? And it had to be today of all days isn’t it? The day when I’m horribly late!

After mustering up a little courage, I make my way towards the counter to get my daily dose of latte.Mr.Adonis aka Jimin(I took a peek at his name tag) greets me with a heartwarming smile and a sweet “Good morning,How can I help you?”. His voice is so mellifluous, I could just die hearing him utter those words.I pull myself together ,try not to look like a swooning and place my order successfully(without stuttering or choking). He goes on to prepare my cup of coffee and looks like an angel while doing so and I’m just swooning at every single move of his, hoping that he won’t catch me googly eyeing at him.Once done he picks up a black marker, writes my name on the cup and then hands over the cup to me.

As I make my way towards the exit, I glanced down at the cup. “Can I have your number?” was written in place of my name.I glanced back, and our eyes met.

You had never been this ashamed before. Not only did you assume that Park Jimin was an intruder, you also saw him shirtless and you threw your freaking shoe at him. You really needed the money for college and it looked like you were definitely gonna lose this job now. Jiwoon was the only kid you felt comfortable with babysitting. All the others were too much of a hassle. “Who are you anyways?” Jimin’s voice rang in your ears after a moment of an awkward silence. Should you tell him your name? Would he yell at you? Would he rat you out to his parents? You kept biting your lip. You started thinking of the worst possible scenarios before coming to the conclusion how it wasn’t your fault and he doesn’t have the right to yell at you. “Look here, I - ” You turned around immediately with a new found confidence before realizing his state of shirtlessness.

“Yaaah!” He immediately protested as soon as you turned trying to cover his chest. ”Are you a pervert? Stop looking.” He looked flustered which made you scoff internally. “Yahh!” You replied back before continuing, “Can’t you put a shirt on? And what did you call me, a pervert huh?” You scoffed sarcastically. “The real pervert is you. It’s YOU! Couldn’t you have a put a shirt on while I was - I was looking away.” You made the mistake of looking at his bulging abs yet again and stuttered out in a flustered state. “Are you naturally dimwitted?” He hissed out. “Yah! You’re standing in front of my closet!” He continued bulging his eyes at you. You turned your head back to see his closet which you were standing directly in front of. “Well..” You grew hesitant and let out unsurely. “You could’ve told me.” You mumbled out while looking at the ground. He let out a tsk sound. “Get out already, will you?” He seethed looking at you with a deadly gaze. 

“G- g- give me my shoe first.” You pointed towards your shoe lying on the ground behind him. He gave you an unbelieving expression but picked up your shoe and handed it you anyways.    

“Who is she anyways? I swear if she’s one of those babysitters again…” He muttered to himself but you heard him. You wasted no time in skittering out of the room as soon as you had put your shoe on back again. You went down to the living room with a heavy feeling in your chest. You felt so ashamed, you could die. You started knocking your head against the wall in embarrassment. You wanted to scream but he’d probably hear you. “Pabo!” You kept repeating over and over again with each bang. “Do you usually like to bang your head against the wall for fun?” His voice startled you and you closed your eyes in even more embarrassment as your head was against the wall. You didn’t have the will to turn and face him. Dammit, why were you such an idiot? You heard him scoff as you pinched your eyes shut even more tightly and bit your lip hard. You slowly turned around as you pursed your lips, dreading the day you were born and faced him. He was dressed now, thankfully. “Yah, were you raised in a mental institute or something?” He asked raising his brows. “Do you wanna die?” You grew furious and snapped. “Yah, did you - ” He paused and tilted his head sideways before looking at you again, “why are you talking to me informally? I’m probably older than you.” He continued. “So what if you’re older than me? What? You dropped the honorifics first.” You retorted. “Gosh, you’re so frustrating. What’s your name?” He said pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. “That’s-” You started out hesitantly; “-none of your business.” Why were you digging your own grave? “You do realize you’re in my house? So it is my business.” He said in an emphasizing manner. “It’s Y/N.” You said tautly not wanting to admit he had a point. Jimin laughed sardonically for a moment. “Well, Y/N, I don’t get why Eomma and Appa would appoint someone like you to look after my brother.” He looked at me disapprovingly. “Jinjja, if I could kill-” You didn’t get to finish your sentence as the sound of the door clicking startled you both. You knew it was his parents and somehow you feared of him asking his parents to fire you. You only babysat Jiwoon on weekdays and worked at a local library as part time. Your family’s financial situation wasn’t enough to pay your college fee so of course you worked. The Parks were fairly well off though, they lived in a nice neighborhood and had stable jobs. A friend suggested you to them when she found out that they were in need of a permanent babysitter. You were thankful to that friend for eternity.

Jimin gave you a lasting meaningful glare before turning towards the entrance to the hall awaiting his parents’ arrival.

“I did ask Byu-” Mrs. Park stopped whatever she was saying as soon as her eyes landed on Jimin.

“Oh aigoo, my son’s here.” She gushed before pulling him into a tight embrace.

You fidgeted your thumbs in nervousness.

“Son, why are you here so suddenly?” Mr. Park asked when Mrs. Park pulled away.

You were contemplating on what to do, you felt awkward standing there while they had a little reunion.

“Uhm- I should be taking my leave now.” You said before bowing and stepping towards the gate to escape.

“Oh yes. Good work, Y/N.” Mrs. Park called out behind you and you wondered if she’d still be saying that after Jimin tells her about your little encounter with him.

You quickly left the house and walked towards the bus stop hoping to reach home as soon as possible.

Definitely seems all innocent and put together on the outside.

Won't even tell you he's jealous if you asked him to his face

Honestly he probably won't even hold a grudge abt it if you make him jealous but it'll still be in the back of his mind

My advice would be to NEVER actively try to make him jealous bc one of 3 things will happen

He gets jealous, yeehaw

He gets sad and internalizes it on himself.

Ignores the situation entirely and then feels a little insecure abt it later on

He's not likely to view you as his "property" if you will, but he views your relationship as a togetherness where you just sorta belong to each other in the first place.

So when he sees you all enthusiastic and smiley and happy with another guy, he doubts that you really belong to/with him at all and maybe it's just him who really felt the togetherness

However, if you take it too far trying to make him jealous, he will get SO SAD.

Not even angry, not even insecure

He's just hurt

He genuinely is oblivious to your plan so don't blame the guy, but he really thinks that the reason your lowkey flirting w another guy is bc you forgot about jk and he just didn't mean enough to you to consider his feelings first.

After that, he'd just wanna be alone

So when you find him sulking and letting a few tears slip in an empty room, he needs a lot of reassurance

And that is your time to explain that you were trying to make him jealous

And then he's a happy boy :)

But on the rare occasion that you succeed,

It will probably consist of him leaving the room and coming back to find you and someone else, the other person flirting with you, and you allowing then to do so.

And Tae is not a hot tempered kind of guy, he prefers to talk things out

of course that can always switch and the two of you can become such a petty and savage duo

you two also have a lot of movie marathons, especially the avengers movies cause they are some of the best

taehyung would be a really good friend to you and like a warm older brother

you and jungkook are the maknaes on top, even though there’s a one year difference

despite your close relationship, you two didn’t get along at first due to different views on certain things

but overtime your relationship mended and now the two of you are the closest friends can get

due to your young ages you use this to your advantage to get anything you want from the members

also, take your pranking with jimin and multiply that by a million cause hoo boy you two cause A LOT of chaos

jungkook also is pretty possessive of your guy’s friendships and often scares off others, even his fellow 97 liners

but in reality he’s just a soft bunny baby that doesn’t want you to leave him

you two probably had some dating rumors surrounding you, but at the end of the day nothing will change your guy’s amazing friendship
