It’s unfortunate that you leave work with a headache, surprisingly making it through blaring Friday night traffic without absolutely losing it. It feels like a blessing bestowed upon you by your ancestors when you arrive home, shuffling your shoes off with a sigh as you wearily drag yourself into the front room. Leaning against the doorway, you can’t help the smile that crosses your lips at the sight of the back of Hoseok's head: he's peacfully sat on the sofa, staring intently at what you can only assume is his phone in his lap. His caramel hair flops to the beat of the music that plays through his headphones. You were head over heels for your husband, and coming home to him waiting for you was nothing short of refreshing.

Trying hard not to make a sound, you walk around to his front, crawling over his lap and swiping the device from him; his cherry-vanilla scent welcomes you home. Hoseok mumbles something incoherent, but lets you lie across him without dispute, with your torso now across his legs, your feet at the other end of the sofa, and his phone in your hands.

Your eyes fix onto the screen, the glaring blue light doing nothing for your headache but increase your pain tenfold. Playing is a video of an earlier rehearsal, just your husband dancing passionately as his alias J-Hope. You smile, following his every movement; you’re so in awe that you focus only on the way his energy fuels him forward, until you squirm — Hoseok places the headphones on your ears. Your ears tune to find his voice, correlating with his moves that now hit each beat with such skill, though you can't recall the song.

"Is this a new song?" He shushes you, urging you to watch the whole thing. You hear whoops from other boys in the video but no one else dances or sings; it's just Hoseok, singing and rapping the whole song.

When the music finishes, the other members enter the back of the frame to clap and cheer. Your husband stands in position, out of breath, but gleaming. "Do you think they're gonna like it?" He asks Jimin, who approaches him to pat him on the back.

Your peer up at Hoseok to find he's already looking at you for approval, "It's beautiful. ARMY will love it.”

"It's for you."

You're taken aback, "For me?" He nods, and you simply tilt your head to push him for an explanation.

"This song, the choreography, I did it all myself. For you. Only for you. It's not being released or performed anywhere. Something just for you and I." The gasp that leaves your lips is quiet but audible. You can't hide the shock from the gesture, but you're overwhelmed with love for your husband.

"I love you. I love you, and I love this." You sit up onto his lap, your arms winding around his shoulders. "I can't believe you would do this for me." Hoseok chuckles as you begin to pepper trails of kisses all over his face; from his forehead to his cheeks (you pressed your lips to both) and to his neck.

His smile reaches his eyes as he glances down at you, "I adore you, Jagi. I'd do anything for you."
