#3 MATES
How do you image Vladimir's and Stefan's mate?
Vladimir's mate has a very strong personality and she's very stubborn. she made Vladimir change herself into a vampire.
Stefan's mate is different. She lives on the clouds, over the rainbow. She's very outgoing but hard-working. Everything she wants become hers.
What about you?

The Romanian Coven's first appearence in "Breaking Dawn part 2".
Check out my blog if you want more or ask me anything about the Romanian Coven. I don't bite... maybe.

I do not always ship them as a couple, but when I do, I do it hard.
I love Stefan so much... Even if I don't show it.
"Stefan" called Vladimir "Come to the kitchen, I’ll make your favourite".
"Vladimir, Thanks, but no thanks". I replied.
"Why not? It’s summer, you usually eat melon in summer". The blondie said.
"You really got the melon?". I was surprised.
"Isn’t it your favourite?" he asked, looking in my...
Hello beautiful readers… What would you like to see on this blog now that I am still posting? :)
Who do you think is more awkward when it comes to flirting, Vlad or Stefan? Given how long it must be since they've actually been in a courtship I think it would be hilarious to see them try to date nowdays.
Times are hard for Vladimir and Stefan when it comes to dating. Neither of them knows the rules of Modern Dating. They ignore it all. So I think they both would be deadly awkard while trying to date someone from 20th/21st century AD. They wouldn’t even fit the basic rules. For example, they’d show up dressed like what? They sure would wear an old shirt from another time, probably stained with blood. Nice, uh?What would they show up with? Flowers are good but would they really go the florists to buy them? Or would they pick up flowers…? If their love interest happens to be human, they wouldn’t understand that they need food, a warm/fresh place (depends on the season) and to rest after some time. I’m not even sure they’d be able to resist the thirst. I’m pretty sure they’d date vampires, though it’s diffuclt for them to find someone their own species who doesn’t hate or fear or pity or find them laughable.
To respond to your question, I think Vladimir is more awkard. Stefan is (almost) canonically more laid back than his companion, and would bring their partner to some park, just strolling and chatting and enjoying nature. Very simple but has its effects because Romanian nature is literally breath-taking. Stefan, in general, a good listener and observer, so it’s definetely a plus in a romantic meeting. He knows all the relaxing places all over Eastern Europe because he, too, once in a while, needs a pause from the constant eye-gouging and war-starting rambling of Vladimir. Vladimir on the other hand would spend a very serious amount of time planning his date to the smallest detail. He would bring their love interest to some old castle and try to impress them with his countless stories of The Good Old Times. He knows how to keep people entratained but his way works only with people who totaly hate the Volturi -and not many vampires are ofnd of the idea of declaring outloud they don’t like their kings.
Stefan has surely tried to explain to Vladimir how to improve his dating skills, but since Vladimir think of himself as a perfect being, it ended with them not speaking for one week and then catching up and apologizing with a hug.
5. “Do you think we’re bad people?”

They two of them were sitting on a rock, taking a pause from all the nonsense that was going on at the Cullens’ house.
“Infants. They treat us like wicked people. We’re the ones that could make a difference in the battle with the Volturi” Vladimir said in a desperate tone.
Stefan put a hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him. “Vlad, why do you even care? Likeyou said, they’re nothing but infants. They don0t realize the danger they’re in”.
Vladimir was grateful to Stefan for his speech but at the same tim he wasn’t really satisfied. “Have you noticed how the newborn always carry her child away from us? Not even if we were monsters...”.
Stefan sighed. “I still don’t understand why you care”
“I care” Vladimir began, almost irritated “because they’re the archeotype of today’s society. And given how we’re treated here, today’s society thinks that we’re bad people, that means that we have absolutely zero chances of going back to power”.
Stefan looked saddened. “Do you think we’re bad people?”
Vladimir immediately saw the look on Stefan’s face. “I don’t know, Stefan...”- But seeing that Stefan was getting even more pensive, he quickly added: “No, we’re not bad people. It’s them who have stupid criterions. We are good, Stef. You hear me?”.
Stefan smiled at Vladimir, knowing fully well that the blond didn’t use his soft voice and manners very often.
2. You're too good for this world (Romanian Coven fanfiction)

[Hinted a Vladimir X Stefan, but really you could read it as friends] Twelve vampires were sitting on their thrones: all they had for the servants were ice-cold gazes, as cool as they skin. Many of their subjects thought their kings and queens were unmoved by everything that surrounded them; but when throughout the whole castle the sound of a horn was heard even kings and queens started to worry. Some of them even moved from their thrones and rushed at the window, only to see the invader sending a messenger to the castle.
"Kill the messenger" ordered Anica to an archer.
"No, wait!" exclaimed Stefan "They could have sent their official surrender".
Anica laughed, but there was no happiness in her laugh, only irony.
"Oh, my dear Stefan, you can be so naïve: they have an army gathered not far from here: it's clearly not peace they're after!"
But Stefan insisted: "They could be offering a truce, perhaps! Just listen to the bloody messenger, who by the way has no fault if not being a messenger!". Anica scoffed, feeling highly irritated. She then addressed all the other convenmates: "All thpse in favour of killing the messenger shall raise their hands now". Seeing nobody did nothing, Stefan said: "Perhaps we could listen to him first and then" but he was cut off by Anica: "and then decide his fate. Yes, and excellent idea, Stefan. Shall we go?". Stefan tried to protest, but everyone was already moving out of the thrones room. Well, not everyone: Vladimir stayed behind, to comfort a much bothered Stefan.
Vladimir smiled to him: "Stef, you did everything you could". Stefan sighed: "Yes, but not enough. Messengers are not guilty of their masters' faults!".
Vladimir looked at the brunette and felt pride growing inside of him: Stefan was a fine thinker, way ahead of their time. "Does all this have to do with the fact that when I was a human I was a messenger to your very hungry vampire coven?". Stefan simply said: "Could be". Vladkmir was glad he had been a messenger, it was that very job that got him immortality -Stefan granted his wish himself.
"You're too good for this world" he finally said. Stefan smiled back at him, a little embarrassed, but all the embarrassment disappeared when the blond gave him a reassuring hug.
13. My hobby is making fun of you when you talk (Romanian Coven fanfiction)

Everyone was enjoying the quite evening in the Cullens' living room, forgetting for some hours the threat of war upon them thanks to the warm feeling the fire pit and the light chatting provided. Even the two Romanians, who were usually grumpy and liked the exclusive company of each other, sit on the couch and, glasses of blood in their hands, chatted with the others. Although they sometimes mentioned eye-gouging and several different gory ways to kill an individual, they were overall good company.
At a certain point, Renesmee ran to them, high on sugar because of the donuts Esme had lovingly prepared that afternoon, and asked whether she could ask some questions. Vladimir immediately agreed, seeing that he always loves to have an audience.
“Why is your skin paler than everyone else's?” the little girl inquired. Before either of the Romanian could reply, Bella stepped in the conversation and said that maybe it was better if Renesmee went to bed. Her daughter, however, had no intention of leaving with her question unanswered, so Bella had to give up and let her stay. She glanced the two foreign guests, as to warn them not to say something foolish, but Vladimir responded with an annoyed look that made her regret hers. “Well, you see little one” he started “we sit on our thrones for a very long time, so long that we'd actually started to petrify, and that's the very reason why our skin is much paler than normal”.
Renesmee nodded as if she understood. She then asked another question: “But what made you get up from your thrones? I mean I never want to get up from my bed in the morning... I would literally never ever leave a throne”. Stefan chuckled and gestured at Vladimir that he would respond to this one. Bella's expression became more and more anxious. “My dear, our thrones were taken from us, and by no one else but the Volturi. The engaged war with our troops, set fire to everything they could and then left for their hiding spot in Italy”.
He would have gone further but Bella stopped him. “Renesmee, the Volturi are not so bad after all”.
Vladimir was outraged. But instead of lashing out as he always did, he choose to stay calm. “Well, yes, Bella, I believe you're actually right: I mean apart from invading foreign lands, waging war and engaging battles, setting fire to everything and everyone, sending false peaceful messengers that turn out to be mercenaries, separating lovers, killing without mercy, hunting us down constantly so that we can't settle down in one place, always reminding us that we're miserable and the only reason we're alive is because we are a warning of what punishment awaits those who threaten the Volturi... I mean apart from these little things, they're good, aren't they, Stefan?”.
His companion laughed softly, Bella didn't say anything but picked her daughter up and left.
“Little ones” commented Stefan “they need to grow up quickly during these dark times”. Vladimir nodded and motioned with his head to Bella, who was coming back without Renesmee.
“You didn't have to bring all that up in front of my daughter” she said, blankly. Vladimir just scoffed, unmoved by her concern. “Then you really shouldn't have said that the Volturi are not so bad after all” the blond replied. Bella sighed heavily before she got completely mad at Vladimir: “What's wrong with you? Why do you have to ruin things for everyone?! Is it because the Volturi watch your every move and you don't have a hobby to fill your crazy amount of free time with?”.
Vladimir knew exactly what to respond to that. “darling, I do have a hobby: my hobby is making fun of you when you talk”.
Bella's jaw dropped, she tried to find something mart to say to fight back but, seeing she couldn't, she left the room in a furious rush. “The victory is yours” stated Stefan. Vladimir smirked.
32. Keep your eyes on me (Romanian Coven fanfiction)

Vladimir wasn't used to having around so many people: he had joined the Dacian Coven only a week prior, and he was having a hard time adjusting from a four-people-coven to a hundreds-people one. It's not that he didn't like it, because he did, but he didn't yet figure out what his place was.
During a dull afternoon, Vladimir decided to have a stroll in the immense garden that surrounded the castle. He was enjoying the peace of nature when he heard some vampires, not far from him, so he approached them. He saw that some of the guards were training in a muddy clearing at the beginning of the forest; not far from them, there was another of the leaders, who was watching over the guards and providing them some fighting advice. When he saw Vladimir walking by, he gestured for him to go forward. Vladimir smiled politely and greeted him. “Steffon” How nice to see you”. The brunette laughed. “It's actually Stefan. But likewise, it is a pleasure to see you”. Vladimir immediately started to feel uncomfortable and wanted to leave, but Stefan invited him to stay and watch the training.
Vladimir soon discovered that Stefan was a rather chatty guy. “So, do you enjoy the view?” he asked, waving to the soldiers. Vladimir stammered “Well, in my previous coven we had a person who was in charge of fighting duties so I can't say I'm an expert”. Stefan looked quite surprised. “Oh, I see. I suppose it makes sense. Sooner or later, though, I'll have to teach you how to defend yourself”. Vladimir shivered at the mere thought. “Later rather than sooner”.
Fate didn't agree. Not many hours after this very conversation, the castle was attacked. Vladimir was still in the gardens when suddenly everyone started to feel an enemy presence. Soldiers from the neighbouring valley were running right in their direction. Stefan immediately had Vladimir behind him and told the guards to stand their ground. They did as their commander asked and prepared for battle.
In the meantime, Stefan had turned to Vladimir only to face a very, very scared man. He was the first time he saw actual soldiers and not some random nomad fight. And he couln0t defend himself. Stefan grabbed both his arms and stated: “Keep your eyes on me. I will lead you out if this mess, okay? But first I need to find the exit path”. He was then gone for some moments and right when Vladimir started to feel like he had been injured, he came back, grabbed his arm and pulled him out of that horrid fight.
65. You make me feel invincible (Romanian Coven fan fiction - Stefan x OC)
Alexandra laughed softly, looking down at Stefan, who was walking up the drive way carrying a heave package. She didn’t bother using the stairs and simply jumped out of the window and greeted a startled Stefan with a passionate kiss. «You look beautiful, darling» he said, smiling at her. She shook her head and her long, dirty blonde hair shone in the sun, and so did her pale skin and her blood red eyes. Stefan looked at her, trying to notice even the smallest of details, such as the way one single lock of her hair refused to stay in place and curled up against her neck. He smiled at her and kissed her again.
«What are you carrying, Stef?» she asked, snooping at the package. He let her, and when she realized that inside of it there was a television she immediately hug him, thanking him in every language she knew. «Oh, honey, mulţumesc! I knew you would open up to modernity sooner or later!». Stefan laughed at himself, knowing fully well that Vladimir would complain for the device –but he didn’t care, in the end it wasn’t something important, merely something more than furniture.
«Shall we install it, my dear?» he asked, and she happily followed him inside the house.
Watching her man setting up the television all by himself, Alexandra sort of became emotional. She was deeply amazed by all he changes that Stefan had agreed to in order to live better together, the television being it only the smallest of them all.
Stefan noticed her looking at him and smirked. «Soon it will be ready, dear, no need to look impatient». Alexandra shook off his sarcasm. «Oh, do I look impatient now? That’s not at all what I feel». Stefan acknowledged that the discussion wasn’t going where he had expected it to go and simply decided to follow his mate. «How do you feel, then?» he asked. Her eyes never left him when she pondered for a minute what adjective might describe her feeling the best.
«I feel invincible» she stated, looking at her mate right in the eyes. Stefan held that gaze and started to approach her, holding her in his arms. «Is that so?» he wondered. She nodded and they shared a kiss, a long and passionate one. «You make me feel invincible» she specified, and at those words Stefan picked her up and only let her down on their bed.
