Boromir X Aragorn - Tumblr Posts
This is a work in progress but I am super proud of what I have so far:
Stolen and Cherished
Quiet stolen moments and soft cherished touches.
That was all Aragorn had of Boromir, son of Gondor before he passed. All he had was the soldier's war-worn hands on his, the chaste kisses they'd share, and the fond whispers of home. Taken in a heartbeat.
Cruel was fate that day. In memento, the ranger took Boromir's bracers as a proud token. “Mime nénar, to what should've been.” He whispered somberly as he said a last goodbye to Boromir the bold. Legolas and Gimli joined him, a silence settling amongst them as they sent the once proud soldier down the Anduin.
“They will look for his coming from the white tower.” Aragorn started, tears beginning to stain his cheeks. “But he will not return,”
The bracers. He put them on, both in honor and in fear. In honor of the proud Gondorian and in fear of losing the last thing left of his precious soldier. The infamous white tree of Gondor adorned them. The symbol of a fate he had so long avoided. The crownless again shall be king.
The ranger was quiet, staring down the Anduin. Quickly, he put himself together and began the hunt for Merry and Pippin. In times like these, unfortunately, there was no room to mourn lost comrades or dearest friends.
Aragorn chuckled sadly. Friend. It didn't sound right, calling Boromir simply a friend. It wasn't right that he died in his arms. With a heavy sigh, Aragorn tried his damnedest to dispel these thoughts. Now is not the time to linger on hopeless feelings, he scolded himself
Yall liked the other WIP (which is sadly now abandoned), so I have another one! Same ship cause they give me major brainrot. I think this is just an Aramir page now.
