Bob Pancakes
Aged 30 years old
Traits- Gloomy, Slob, Absent-Minded, Warm-Hearted and Creative
Bob works as a line cook at the moment but dreams of owning his own cafe. His wife Eliza encourages him to pursue his dream but Bob's depression and anxiety hold him back.
Bob and Eliza have a different type of marriage. They don't share a bedroom or be overly affectionate with each other but they are best friends and each others biggest supporters. Bob needs Eliza to motivate him to be his best self, otherwise his depression makes him sluggish and he doesn't leave his room for days or wash or anything. He does sometimes wonder what it would be like to be madly in love with someone but he can't leave Eliza. Especially now that they have a son together.
The decision to have a child together was a mutual one. Even though their relationship isn't romantic, they both wanted a child and they consider each other close family so little Iggy was born.
They also have a little sausage dog named Palatschinken or 'Pal' which is a type of Austrian pancake.
Bob loves video games and cooking for his family. He has a sister and brother named Amy and Cooper and they all get together and have a big cook up on the weekends. Amy has expressed she may be interested in going into business with Bob in owning a cafe. Maybe this could be the new start he needs?

Found these cute old screenshots (therefore not taken with SRWE and not as great quality) of Eliza and Bob Pancakes and since I've been sick and don't have much energy to play the game I thought I'd share them.

I just don't get why people hate them they're so cute. In my mind Eliza is checking in with Bob, maybe a little artificially but he can see she is trying.
So back when Growing Together came out I mean way after because it basically broke my game for over a month which is the whole reason I went back to TS2 and TS3 in the first place I literally had never touched Bob or Eliza even though I know they're well known sims 4 premades. Tbh I had never touched sims 4 premades 😂 anyway all I had ever heard about this couple was that they were a really bad couple and hate each other, often paired with especially negative comments towards Eliza, like "Eliza is a b***h" well, upon observing their home it looked to me a lot more like Bob suffered from depression, not just that he's a lazy husband or that Eliza is a b***h. Also their relationship really isn't that bad when you start so while they naturally are opposites that doesn't necessarily mean it had to be bad. So I gave them a new narrative. Bob was depressed (maybe capitalism, maybe feeling inferior or impostor syndrome, maybe it was just a chemical thing) and Eliza didn't really have the skills or understanding to help him. She isn't really an emotional person and doesn't find hard work or motivation difficult at all, so she wasn't the most supportive while he lazed about and did nothing at home. But they both decided to get couples counselling when Bob started to sleep in the other room and not leave for days; and for Bob to go to therapy separately upon the recommendation of their counsellor. Eliza learned more about mental health and how to be more sensitive and a supportive partner for Bob, while Bob learned how to rely less on Eliza and pick himself up. He started his own little pancake business (I used RGeetect's awesome build for this) and slowly became more involved in household chores. In the end I made them basically a perfect (perhaps a little too perfect) power couple. I think they deserved better. Eliza is following her ambitions to become an author and blogger and of course they have become adorable little parents.

Going on vacation really helped them improve their relationship and have fun together like when they first started dating, reminding them of why they wanted to work on their relationship rather than just let it fizzle out into nothing.
Using a lot of Tiny Twavellers stuff by @felixandresims and @harrie-cc because it is perfectísimo like literally everything else they make.
Unfortunately I cannot remember what I named their kids, as I said these are old pics but they're super cute.
I think I use tons of their CC in this build but can't remember which sets they are, also probably other creators. The photo on the wall I believe is @ravasheencc
Weirdly I had surprisingly few issues with the infants themselves (though the infants patch basically broke my game for a whole month), once I could actually play it was completely fine.

Townie Makeovers 3/???

It’s two thirty am but sleep is for the weak. Here is the Pancakes edition of my townie makeovers. Now I’ve actually drafted this, it’s waaay more inspired by okruee’s fabulous townie makeovers than I intended (down to the kitchen setting?!?), so I guess I’ve just accepted them as default? Just go and appreciate their makeovers instead. They are *chef kiss*. Incidentally okruee also made Eliza’s gorgeous hair, which I have attached to almost every sim in my game...
Anyway, here’s our unhappy couple, destined to do something drastic in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. Originally, I had a wedding photo set up behind them, complete with passive aggressive post-its and takeout business cards, but it wasn’t working so I just....knocked it over instead.
