when barry married lup for the first time, he wasn’t too surprised that she took on his last name.
he was, however, surprised when taako took on his last name as well?
it was a little weird, but no more than anything else any of the twins did, so he let it go, thinking that it’d probably go away by the end of the cycle.
three cycles down the line, and taako’s still going by barry’s last name. he doesn’t really mind it though. everyone knows the twins are a package deal, so he lets it go.
then, decades and decades down the line, taako and kravitz get married.
and kravitz takes on barry’s last name as well
barry’s known the twins too long at this point to be surprised anymore.
