Since I'm doing the hand practices I thought I'd do inktober with them as well. So I picked 31 of my favourite sketches to ink and planned the whole thing. Well, it is now the 15th of October and I finally managed the first one ROFL! So I've changed it to ink****ber 😝 Let's see if I can actually manage all of them before the end of the year. Using a Sharpie and also first time inking with my left hand.

Time and Entropy

Time and entropy arise mutually like a boat and its wake.
Entropy is fractal which means that time never began.

I lived in Miami for a few years. I rented a small apartment right on the bay about two blocks from the ocean. Iguanas and land crabs used to wander around the yard. Beat that!
Bay Harbor beach
Miami has some of the most lovely beaches on earth. White sands and tropical blue water. I used to hang out at beach cafes sipping esspresso coffee while watching lovely people walk by.
And I drew. I drew a lot.
Back then my only art tool was the black sharpie.
I was into drawing these guilts.

One day, a couple of years ago, I was looking around the apartment for something to draw when my eyes landed on three boxes, stacked upon one another, in the corner of our dining area.
So I quickly sketched them in pencil.
It was an OK drawing and I still have it lying around here somewhere but after I had drawn the boxes in pencil I got out my sharpie and redrew them in ink.
The result was nice..

This got me stared drawing boxes. I drew boxes at home. I drew boxes at work. I drew boxes in my moleskine. I drew boxes.
I soon cut the stack down to two boxes because it looked better.

Why did I keep draw these boxes?
