Ben10 Gwevin - Tumblr Posts
If I were to follow canon, I`d say that auto show from the S2 finale counts as their first `official` date and the fact that they seem to be a couple/were trying to be a thing around S3.
By my hc, I think that they hung out together somewhere during the Pier Pressure episode while Ben and Julie were together. Sure, they argued for a bit about Kevin being immature, then they`d try to cool things off.
Things between them were too awkward/early to call it a ``date`` but they may have went somewhere low-key. Like Kevin slightly giving in and asking if she`s hungry like he is. Maybe at Burger Shack.
Interactions like this would explain why Gwen is more - used to him than Ben seems to be. They just interacted more in times where a threat wasn`t in their way. Also the times Gwen hung around his garage hint towards this.
There was also that one claim from McDuffie where he confirmed that Kevin and Gwen were friends/reunited before AF`s premiere and that Gwen had more of a reason to trust him.
It`s possible that she intentionally tried to be around him more to talk/get to know him better so he`d feel welcomed in the group/get her impression on him and help each other out (and also, the other reasons heh,)

Let's answer some gwevin themed questions this week because i cant think of other ideas at the top of my head at this time. You can make art or headcanons, oneshots surrounding the topic ( pls no NSFW ).

It's a sketch as of now. I want to get it colored eventually. Let me know what you think !! (Politely please. I'm new this is more - realistic (?) style of drawing)
Well, the changes done here are all explained in my AU version of him but to cut it brief/ a bit spoiler-free:
I imagine that he got to Gwen's place to pick her up with his usual hairstyle and she helped him out with his hair. So he'd look all stylish / be able to not have his hair into his eyes.
G: "It helps you see me better, Kevin :DD"

Also, so she could kiss his forehead easier heh,
As you can see, his ears and features in general are sharper. Those are choices done in order to give him individuality from the Tennysons' general appearances from canon. Also because I find them cool !
(I'm still working on the Gwen re-imagining kwhajw).
Also other reasons which are related to my re-imagining of osmosians' features in general.
I believe that at first, he'd be unsure over the hairstyle change because his ears would be even more noticeable.
I see Gwen reassuring him that his ears are fine and that he shouldn't be ashamed of what he is (he's still half alien in the AU). In the end, he sees that he slays the hairstyle and keeps it for the night
Those 2 locks of hair which remained on his forehead are just- shorter strands from the front of his hairline which didn't stick right at the back.
Also, he's hiding something underneath his hair.
Gwen takes notice of that but won't push that on him that night. He'll probably talk about it when he's ready

I tried to put a lot of thought into him /his appearance. The eyebrow really was just a moment of weakness for me. It's the least thought out of detail out of them =)))
Edit: it isn't drawn, but this Kev also has fangs. I thought a couple of times how he may speak in a way which wouldn't require opening his mouth too much just so ppl wouldn't see them/ attract unwanted attention for numerous reasons
It's actually funny that I put even more thought into Gwen's prom design, considering how plain canon's interpretation was
(Hint: I gave both her and Kev something matchy for them to wear at the prom *chuckles*)
