Agere!Raven fic (?)
Raven knows she is not Strat’s baby. She knows she wants to grow up. Does she want to grow up? No. Well, yes but, not always. Sometimes she wants to be a little girl again. Sometimes she feels as if she’s a little girl again and she wants a dummy and a blankie but most importantly,
Strat.
Raven wants strat to look after her. She wants him to hold her and rock her to sleep, peppering kiss after kiss to her forehead. She wants him to read her stories, feed her a bottle, she wants him to take care of her and love her how she was once loved before when she was ever so small. But that will never happen
Because raven knows she is not Strat’s baby.
Thinking about how Zahara would probably set up play dates for Strat and Valkyrie with Raven, Strat and Valkyrie would play with their toys while Raven and Zahara talked about them, sharing stories about them.
Little!Raven fic
There was something about the lost that Raven didn’t really understand. They all looked tough and scary, and they were when they wanted to be, but there was something about them that was very unexpected.
Babying.
She didn’t understand it. Sometimes she would walk into the deep end to see Ledoux holding Blake and cooing over him as if he were a baby. Sometimes she would see Valkyrie getting told off by Zahara for “being a naughty girl and throwing a tantrum” (“I hope I don’t have to punish you, Valkyrie.”), sometimes she would even see Strat acting like that. She didn’t think it was wrong, she was just confused. Why did they do this?
“We do it to cope…” said Blake, as he filled a sippy cup with orange juice for Valkyrie. “Sometimes it’s just too hard to be an adult so we age regress. It’s completely normal. Some of us regress involuntarily, as a response to trauma. Like Strat, and Valkyrie. Some of us involuntarily slip because we’re stressed.” He continued. Raven slowly nodded. “Maybe you should try it.” He finished. “No! I mean- it’s great- but I don’t think it’s for me..” raven replied. Blake smiled “You sure? Because Strat’s been going on about how stressed you’ve been, and he also thinks this could be good for you.” He said. Raven sighed “I just..don’t think it’s for me…” she said. But then she started thinking about how stressed she had been. About all the work she had to do. About the constant anxiety attacks and crying. Suddenly everything seemed too much for her. Maybe she could try it. Just this once. “Fine. I’ll give it a go.” She said. Just as Strat came up behind her.
Raven was sat down on Strat’s bed with a soft, pink blanket (this was hers since she was a baby), a plushie of a cat (this too) and a pacifier. She could use this stuff, but she was not calling Strat “Daddy”. She didn’t understand why she needed this stuff, but Strat assured her it would come in handy. “Okay, hun. Let’s start off small, okay? How about you cuddle with..your cat? What’s his name? He’s awful cute..” Strat said. Hun. He’d never called her that before. Raven grabbed the stuffed animal. “Her name’s..it’s stupid..uhm…her name’s itty bitty kitty..but you can just call her kitty..” She murmured. Strat smiled “Awh…well, it’s very nice to meet you, kitty!” He said, shaking the teddy’s paw. Raven couldn’t help but giggle. “Was that funny, Ravie? Was it?” He cooed. Raven nodded and giggled again. It was different to her usual laugh. It was..small. It sounded childish. But when she let herself laugh at Strat’s stupid behaviour she felt small, and carefree. Strat smiled at Raven. “You okay, kiddo?” He asked. Raven nodded, feeling smaller and smaller by the second. She got closer to Strat and wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest. Strat smiled. Maybe Raven was regressing. Raven looked up at Strat with big, innocent eyes. “S’ okay, little one. I’m here..” he crooned. Raven nodded. “You’re awful quiet..” Strat murmured. Raven nodded again. She put her thumb in her mouth. “Ah-ah, baby. Use your binkie, come on. Can you do that for daddy?” Strat said. Raven nodded “mhm..okay, daddy..” she hummed. So much for not calling Strat “Daddy”.
They set up a schedule for when Raven would regress. Tuesdays, or whenever she really needed to. It was almost always the same, but Strat didn’t mind. Raven would curl up in Strat’s lap and pop a paci in her mouth. They would sit in a comfortable silence, sometimes raven would speak. But most of the time they were silent. Strat would coo over her sometimes. She started using more items. She started using bottles. It was comforting, being bottle fed. It was comforting, just laying back in her daddy’s arms while he cradled her as she drank her “baba”. The lost found out about Raven’s regression. They were really accepting. They would come see her sometimes. Raven was enjoying this whole “babying thing”. It helped her calm down. It helped her sleep, it helped with anything that was on her mind. She was coping. She wouldn’t have it any other way.

Sleepy
Strat agere headcanon
Strat almost always slips when he’s sleepy. Mainly because he’ll be cuddling with Raven and he just can’t help but feel little around her. When he slips Raven usually notices because he’ll get really cuddly, he’ll hide his face in the crook of Raven’s neck and wrap his arms around her. He also might get emotional, so he’ll be very whiny. His speech will be slurred and he’ll make his voice all high pitched, Raven thinks it’s the most adorable thing ever. He might ask for his pacifier, though he has a million different names for it so it can take Raven a little while to find that he wants it. (“What’s a gaga, baby? Mommy doesn’t understand”). But once he’s settled he’ll go back to cuddling Raven, Raven will usually hold him. She’ll sing to him, or just talk because she knows Strat loves the sound of her voice. Especially teeny Strat. Once Strat falls asleep, probably after asking Raven many questions that she can’t answer (he’s so curious), Raven will just lie there, left with nothing but the soft “thck thck thck” sound of Strat with his pacifier and thoughts of how much she loves Strat, how much she loves taking care of him, and how she hopes she never has to stop.
It’s the fact that I’m probably the only person in the bat fandom who’s willing to read/create agere content for these characters…
Regressor!Valkyrie fic

It was going to happen eventually. Kwaidan would eventually find out. These thoughts were flooding Valkyrie’s mind as she curled up in Sloane’s lap. This was meant to be her little time! No big thoughts. But she couldn’t help these big thoughts, she had been thinking of telling Kwaidan ever since she walked in on her regressing the other week. Sloane had dealt with it and had made up an excuse on why Kwaidan couldn’t see Valkyrie (“she’s just tired, she needs her sleep”) but it was still terrifying that she almost found out. She looked up at her caregiver, her dummy in her mouth, her blanket (affectionately nicknamed “bwanky”) against her cheek, and sighed. “What’s up, Valkyrie?” Sloane said, looking away from her phone. Valkyrie took her dummy out of her mouth and sat up, no longer regressed. “I want to tell Kwaidan about..this…” she said, her voice quiet and nervous. Sloane nodded in response and placed a hand on Valkyrie’s back. “That’s very brave of you, Val. Do you need me to help you? I can if you need me. I am your caregiver after all.” She said. Valkyrie shook her head “I’ll tell her myself..just gotta be brave…plus, if you were there, I would probably end up slipping.” She replied. Sloane let out a soft chuckle, pulling her little close and kissing her forehead. “Okay, kiddo. I’m proud of you, you know that?” She crooned. Valkyrie blushed and giggled. “Mhm..you always say that..” she whispered. Sloane smiled. “It’s because it’s true! Mommy loves you, baby.”
“Love you too, mommy.”
Valkyrie was sat on a rock in the deep end. She had said for Kwaidan to meet her in five minutes. But now she was regretting that decision. She was so nervous. She was starting to doubt herself. She couldn’t do this. She couldn’t-
“Hey, Val. You wanted to speak to me?”
Oh fuck. There was no going back now.
“Uh..yeah…I did…it’s nothing serious..well..it kind of is…I don’t know…”
Kwaidan tilted her head. “Are you alright?” She asked. Val nodded her head. “Just nervous! I’m fine, I promise.” She replied. Kwaidan sat down next to her. Valkyrie fiddled with the pastel yellow dummy in her pocket. She kept a tight grip on the pastel yellow blanket she was holding. “Okay…so…you know how about a week ago you wanted to talk to me but Sloane didn’t let you? And you saw me holding this blanket and stuff?”
“Yeah? It’s not like you to not wanna talk to me when you’re tired, and it’s not like Sloane to be so…aggressive..” she chuckled. Valkyrie took a deep breath. “I wasn’t tired, Kwaidan. I was little.” She blurted out. Kwaidan tilted her head “little? What does that mean?” She said. Valkyrie fiddled with her blanket
“I’m an age regressor, Kwaidan. Sometimes..sometimes being an adult gets too stressful..so I mentally revert back to a younger age to cope….a lot of the time I do it involuntarily, so it’s out of my control. I do it to cope with trauma, and stress…big girl things…” she explained. The taller girl slowly nodded. “Can you tell me a bit more about this?”
“Of course..uhm…I use things like blankets…and pacifiers..” Valkyrie said, pulling the pacifier out of her pocket. She let Kwaidan hold it. “Cute..” she whispered. A small smile appeared on Val’s face at that. “Uhm…Sloane looks after me when it happens…she’s like..a parental figure to me…so I call her mommy and stuff..” she continued. Kwaidan smiled. “Er…just because I’m telling you this doesn’t mean you have to get involved with my regression in any way! I just thought I’d let you know, in case it happens and Sloane’s not there..” Valkyrie said. She looked up at Kwaidan, who held her hands. “Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me this information. I think it’s very brave of you!” She said. Valkyrie smiled and moved closer to Kwaidan so she could kiss her cheek. “Thank you, Kwaidan, for being so accepting.”
A few days later, Valkyrie was playing with her stuffed animals, Kwaidan was sat with her, just while Sloane went to get her bottle. She felt all..happy and carefree, watching Sloane care for Valkyrie, and watching Valkyrie play. She grabbed a stuffed animal and hugged it close. “Hey, Val?” She said, softly. Valkyrie looked at her, smiling behind her pacifier. “Mhm? Wha’ is it?” She said. Kwaidan looked down and started playing with the stuffed animal. “I think I might be a little, too.”
