We have Mr. Overwhelming Confidence. The visual of the group. Kind hearted. Looked up to by the rest of the group (for different reasons [Tamaki as the King, Seokjin as the hyung]).

Dare we forget him?!

They are more and more alike that I thought when I first started this...Calculative, the most secretive cinnamon roll, dark humor, super smart, and super straightforward. Tends to call out his closest companions.

One is cute and different. Seriously, no one expects V’s voice, just like no one expects Honey’s age.

While the other is tall, quiet, break things (granted, Rap Monster does it accidentally). Both are very protective of the people they are with, super loyal.

Which card on the deck represents each BTS member?

Jin: Ace of hearts

Ace belongs to the hyungs. Hearts because he’s the nurturing member and the hyung privilege allows him to be next in the hierarchy of suits

Rap Monster: Ace of Spades

Ace belongs to the hyungs. Spades because when I watch the Do You MV, ace of spades just shouts at to me and reminds me why he’s a leader, why he’s a spade. Watch it and you’ll see what I mean. He has the most abstract reasoning for his card.

Suga: Ace of Diamonds

Ace belongs to the hyungs. Clubs because he’s a pointed personality, just like a spade, and he’s also the runner up on a hierarchy. Diamonds to me express the desire for achievement, improvement, etc. Suga is on a sugar high for ambition right now, especially since he has the privilege of living out his music.

J-Hope: Ace of Clubs

Ace belongs to the hyungs. Each leaf on the club represents his versatility in rap, dance, and singing (although he’s not promoted that way). Within the group, you can technically deem him as the “golden hyung: (saw that title somewhere on tumblr and I think it really suits him well. Pun unintended.)

Jimin: Jack of Diamonds

To me, a jack is the underdog of the face cards and he always puts himself in humble position for his members. With all the different suits, he fits diamonds best, but not for the same reason as Suga. Apparently, the jack of diamonds face is a depiction of Hector from the Iliad in the French version of the deck. If you’ve never read it, it’s a classic Greek epic poem. Spoiler alert for Iliad, Hector, unfortunately has a tragic ending under the hands of vengeful Achilles, but he was great in the eyes of his people and family. You can ignore the tragic ending for Jimin, unless you consider his rejected advancements to Jungkook :P (I would not object to Jungkook being Achilles…maybe my next representation will be from the Iliad? Nah, I know someone has already done Greek mythology.) [btw, i don’t ship the members, but I do recognize his rejected advances]

V: 7 of Hearts

Really, he’s the last I tried to represent, it’s actually harder for him than I thought. Not because of his unique nature, I actually find him quite normal (maybe I’m like him so I think he’s normal :P) He could have been joker for his uniqueness, but you’ll see read later why he’s not. I don’t care that he’s been joker twice (Don’t get me wrong, I loved it), he’s not a joker representative.So how to narrow him down? Filter through color, rank, and shape. Color, do I see him more as red or black? Red (hearts or diamonds) basically because I eliminate that he’s not a black personality. Major or minor rank? Minor (diamonds or clubs) for the maknae line. Is he pointed or round? Round. Such a round head and round personality (hearts or clubs). So is he a heart, club, or diamond? I will eliminate club because in the shapes, he’s much more of a heart, and rank and color reasons are versatile so there’s no reason to eliminate them by that. Diamond or Heart? At this point, I’ll put him in a heart. He’s super family oriented and much more sensitive than he wants to show. Seven for Bangtan :)

Jungkook: Joker

A versatile, wide card. Golden maknae makes him kind of cocky many times. For sure, he’s earned the title, but I think it gets to his head a little too much sometimes (I still love him though.) The words “versatile” and “wild” really suits this guy (once again, pun unintended but recognized this time)

Rap Monster:

Wednesday: Center of it all. Steady as a rock in the middle because he needs to be. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday is already behind him. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are still ahead and he needs to make everyone survive the rest of the week. Oh and check it out, he's 5he middle child!

Time: 11pm - 1am. I can see Rap Monster during the time people are slowly told to go to sleep, whether it’s their internal clock, or some external notification. Does Rap Monster listen though? No. I see his neurons firing most actively during this time. I can’t explain why the other times are not as appropriate. Center of the night, I guess?

Sky:

Tuesday. Monday has passed, so he’s gearing up to truly handle the rest of the week. Preparing himself, preparing the rest of the week

Time: 11am - 1pm. Best time for lunch. And for hobbits, (he’s anything but), he’s elevensies AND lunch!

Monday: Monday, man. Seriously? He’s not getting up. Go back to sleep, hopefully Monday will pass and he won’t have to deal with it. He’s a problem solver like that.

Time: 2pm - 4pm. It's a very contradicting time for me. When i begin schedules and make myself productive on my own time, no time is better than the afternoon for me. And yet. It's the best time for the cat nap. The sun is warm and yellow right now. The sunbeam’s game is super hot right now. Nothing is better than laying there and doing nothing. I feel like this characterizes that push and pull of yoongi energy between lethargy and productivity.

J-Hope:

Sunday: I think of J-Hope when I hear 24/7=Heaven, probably because I think his voice is so prominent in that song. Naturally, I end up connect Sunday to him because of that. Long and lean ball of sunshine!

Time: 8am - 10am. It’s a beautiful time to wake up voluntarily. He feels most refreshed and happy

Saturday: Happy kid, go out and have fun! Spend it well!

Time: 9am - 11am. Overlapping Jin and J-Hope. Between feeling refreshed and meal times, he feels like he’s really starting the day, really starting to do what he wants to do

Friday: Dude! Party! Turn up! The night is his! Saturday is his best friend! No company is better for Friday to enjoy his youth than Saturday.

Time. 4am - 6am. What a strange time to be up and about, right? But I think back to the times where I’m awake and alive without everyone else (depending on whether you simply satyed up late or woke up early to catch an early flight or something). There’s something about being up before anyone else. Not the tiring, grumbling side of early mornings, but the ones where you are active, feeling more awake than you thought you would be. There’s a certain energy within you, and a control of silence you have over everything around you. Theres that silent clarity all around you like the philosophies of life reveal themselves at this hour. Tae may be a very hyperactive person, but I think he would really indulge in thos feeling

Thursday. You’ve worked hard, tomorrow is Friday. Yes! Thursday is the day he anticipates greatness. He sees what he’s done, thinking about the next week already, but he’s excited for the weekend.

Time: 4pm - 6pm. Sun is starting to set and his day is over. It’s time to take a breath and stretch

Disney Villains | BTS Representations

We’re talking M.O. and justification for their actions. Not only the official Disney vilain line up. Based on the cartoon versions of these characters.

Rap Monster: Claude Frollo. Rap Monster is deeply insightful about life, highly educated and everyone looks to him for knowledge. That could possibly lead to arrogance in thinking that his way is always right and justified. He will not hesitate to be cruel in order to prove his points, or force his enemies into submission to claim he’s right. His number one downfall might be his lust (Jimin’s ranking of member’s pervertedness)

Jin: Evil Queen. Seokjin would be the type to be driven into the sadistic spiral of wanting to be the fairest of them all. So adamant in having everyone agree with him, he would be willing to cut the heart out of his competition. Also, Snow White was the first Disney Princess movie, making this classic villain one with high seniority.

Suga: Jafar. Not even trying to hide his disdain from you, he’ll intentionally call you out, sarcasm drips from every word, and always say your name wrong out of spite. Tired of being oppressed, he plans to be the most powerful in the whole realm. Always reaching higher, this is a visionary man who is blinded by his lust for power. Man, oh man, when he finally beats you, he rubs it in your face.

J-hope: Ursula. Nitpick your every word and use it against you. That is how he traps his enemies. He will lead you into making decisions that looked good at the time, even when the fine print says you’re going to run into some deep sh!t, but he plays on your own desires to make you sign on the dotted line. He has a knack for writing raps, ahem, excuse me, I mean…contracts.

Jimin: Maleficent. This man hates to be left out and he will make a statement about it. You didn’t invite him to a party? Fine, have a good day. Oh, by the way, he’s going to ruin your daughter’s life (that’s basically you, right?). That’s fine, right? No? Well you should have thought about that before making your guest list, huh? He would be the petty villain

V: Hades. Unconventional villain who really thinks outside of the box. When you meet him, you have no idea what this crazy guy is yapping about and all you want to do is ignore him, but really, he’s someone who is super hard to ignore. His motives are unclear and his attitude can be wacky, sassy, and just downright hilarious.

Jungkook: Gaston. Everyone in town loves him and he’s baffled when people don’t. How can you not? He’s driven by his arrogance which he sees as confidence. He doesn’t understand a lot of people and teases the people he doesn’t understand. He doesn’t need to care about them, he’s the golden guy in the whole village!
