Here lies the delightful memories of two heroes and a cat. From cuddle sessions to a big party, the trio continue to create memories that warm their hearts. What goes on in their life?

The Moment He Found Her

Izuku's POV

I cherish the slight breeze that hits my face as I walk back home. Despite the rain, the view around me was beautiful. The blooming flowers, the green trees, and the array of lights made the city extremely pleasing to look at. Wait… Do I have everything?

Checking the reusable bag, I check all the grocery items. Check. Check. Wait… Where’s the pepper? Oh! There it is. Great, I have everything.

Kacchan and I, both, had quite busy schedules today. However, since I got off half an hour earlier, I told him I’d do the shopping. Can’t for dinner. I wonder what Kacchan is making, right now.

Ta-Ding!

Recognizing the specific notification sound I placed for Kacchan, I stop walking and look at my phone. I fix my grasp on the groceries and umbrella to not drop anything.

Kacchan: Do you know where the curry seasoning is? Looked in the seasoning section, but it wasn’t there. I remember seeing it two days ago

Me: Yeah! Remember when Denki came over? He wanted to try chips with curry seasoning because he was curious. I think he put it on the windowsill by the couch

Kacchan: (typing)

Kacchan: Weird… Anyways, found it

Kacchan: Come back quick

I smiled at his text.

Me: On my way!

Before I can continue walking, a rustle noise catches my ears. Freezing, I look towards the sound.

Taking precaution, I keep my quirk ready, “Who’s there?”

Hearing the noise again without a figure appearing, I carefully approach the dark area with the grass moving.

Turning on my flashlight, I point it towards the grass. As soon as I bend down, I am met with round slightly dilated eyes. Relaxing my quirk, I calmly brush the grass off the cat.

The cat was emaciated. My goodness. It’s fur is standing up; the tail tucked between its legs; and its ears are swiveling.

“Hey,” I lay my groceries down, then proceed to hold my right hand out with the umbrella in it.

Look at it with, hopefully, gentle eyes, “It’s okay. I won’t hurt you.”

The cat takes a step back before struggling to stand up. The fur lowers and its tail lightly sways. Glancing around its body, I was glad it was not injured, just extremely scared and unhealthy. Should I take it home with me? Knowing Kacchan’s fondness of animals, I was already sure he wouldn’t mind. However, I did not want to force a cat to come home with me, if it would rather go to a shelter.

I reach my hand out to its head, but it swiftly jerks away. Once again stood up, the eyes dilated, and tail tucks between its legs. Not what I wanted. Collecting myself again, I stay in my place instead of rushing after it. I reach into the back, hoping to find some form of appropriate food for it. Okay, I think cheese should be okay, I thought remembering Mr. Aizawa feeding a cat cheese. Hold the umbrella close enough for the both of us, I open the cheese slice and hold it out. A couple seconds pass by and the cat and I simply look at each other.

Noticing my calm behavior along with the food in my hand, the cat begins slowly approaching me. It happily grabs the cheese with its mouth, then rubs its head against my calf, letting out a weak meow.

“There you go,” I quietly say, brushing through its fur. I really should take it home but…

“Do you want to come with me?” it looks at me with curious eyes, tilting its head. Hm…

I point at myself, “Me?” then at the groceries, “Home?”

Despite looking at me in silence, it paws at my crouched figure. Home it is, then.

“Kacchan, I’m home!” I call out, holding groceries and the umbrella in one hand, with the cat on the other.

“Welcome back. What the heck took you so-,” he pauses, looking at the small figure in my hand.

“What happened?” he asks, approaching me. He takes the other items from my hands, then points for me to take my shoes off and the umbrella near the entrance.

“I found it hiding between thick grass in the rain, really scared and hungry,” I said, taking off my shoes, while still holding the cat. Making my way behind Kacchan, I enter the kitchen.

It was visibly curious, but also scared at the new area.

“It’s okay,” I whisper, “He’s my boyfriend.”

“It took a little bit of consoling, but I managed to make it eat some of the cheese I bought,” Kacchan places the groceries on the counter.

“I thought bringing it home with me was alright, If not, I can take it to the shelter,” I looked at him, petting the cat.

“It stays with us,” he replies, “Shelters are okay, but I don’t think it’s going to be adopted because of its state.”

He comes near me, slowly holding his hand out, “Wanna be carried by me?”

The cat looks at him, eyes slightly dilated. Instead of hissing, it paws his hands before cuddling into my arm.

“Clearly has a favorite already,” Kacchan rolls his eyes.

I chuckle, “What should we name it?”

Kacchan tilts his head, in deep thought, “Hm… Since it seems to be a… girl. How about Amaris?”

Smiling at the suggestion, I accepted, “Suits it very well!”

“Now, go take it with you and bathe. I am not letting you dirty up this place after cleaning it,” I laugh as he lightly pushes me into our room.

Two months later, Kacchan and I managed to get Amaris at a stable health. The days both of us were out, we called up one of our friends to take care of it, mostly Shinsou or Koji, who were more familiar with cats.

“No fair, I wanted to cuddle with her,” I said, laying on the couch.

“Too bad,” Kacchan replies, but then continues to near himself toward me.

Noticing my presence, Amaris jumps between the both of us, laying its head on my lap and its body on Kacchan.

“She’s so adorable,” I say, petting her. Kacchan hums in agreement.

“Like you,” I slightly blush at his sudden comment.

“Stop that,” I nudged, receiving a loud chuckle from him.

“What am I wrong?” he grins, then looks at Amaris, “He’s cute, right?”

Amaris tilts her head, before shaking her tail and lightly nodding. Kacchan turns towards me, “Told ya.”

I shake my head in return.

A Smart One

Third Person POV

Jumping on one foot, Izuku struggled to put his left shoe on. On the other hand, Katsuki had his hero suit on, waiting for the daily affection they give each other before one or both of them leave.

“Amaris, be safe, alright?” Izuku says, properly fitting his shoe on. The cat meows in return.

Katsuki bends down to pet the cat, “See ya, little one.”

Before the both of them can leave, Amaris paws Katsuki’s ankle, gaining his attention.

“What's wrong?” his eyebrows furrow.

The duo sees the cat dash away, quickly returning an item in its mouth. Raising an eyebrow at each other, they both lean both to her level. Izuku puts his hand out, receiving the item from her mouth.

“I completely forgot about this,” he chuckles, holding up their pro-hero beepers, which are normally used in highly dangerous situations to send out signals.

“Aren’t you a nice, smart one?” Katsuki grins, receiving his beeper from Izuku’s hand.

“Great job,” Izuku ruffles Amaris’s head.

Meow! She looks at them with excitement.

“Bye to you, as well,” Izuku laughs.

The duo waves at Shinsou, who had no current missions.

“Call us if anything goes wrong,” Katsuki say. Shinsou nods, with Amaris in his arms.

“Sure thing,” Shinsou says, closing the door.

Before they separate to their individual locations, Katsuki holds Izuku’s hand.

“Stay safe enough, alright? Don’t hurt yourself too much like last time. You scared the hell out of Amaris. Nearly thought you’d go in… a long rest,” Katsuki says, holding Izuku’s cheek. Izuku gives him a gentle smile.

He nods, placing his hand on top of Katsuki’s, “I’ll try my best to come back fine. You too!”

Kissing each other’s cheek, they both rush to their mission locations.

The Dinner Mission

Katsuki’s POV

“Alright, little one. Time to get to work before Izuku comes back, alright?” I say, holding her in my arms.

After hearing about the award Izuku’s agency received, I planned on making him and I a fairly grand dinner.

Pointing at the window and the picture, I tell her the plan, “I’ll check up on you every half an hour. When he is near, run to me, alright?”

Noticing she semi-understood my gestures, I continued.

“Then, as soon as you hear him walking in, stall him a bit, got it?” Amaris meows in response.

“Always the smart one, aren’t ya?” I grin. I don’t entirely expect her to pull it off or understand me, but including her made her excited. So glad Izuku brought her into the dynamic.

Seeing Amaris run around the table in excitement, I shake my head. So glad Izuku brought her into the dynamic.

After hours of preparation, and surprisingly consistent updates from Amaris, I managed to prepare the dinner early enough to plate them.

Suddenly, the door clicks open, making Amaris and I turn our heads. Seeing me point at the door, Amasis rushes to the door. In the distance, I hear Izuku chuckle at her greeting.

“Hey, Amaris!” he laughs. My heart flutters at his happiness.

“Hm… Is Kacchan outside?” Izuku questions loudly, not knowing I could definitely hear him.

Walking into the living room, I quietly hug Izuku from behind.

“Congratulations on the National Agency Recognition award,” I told him.

He laughs lightly, “Aw! Thank you!”

His eyes brighten up as he turns to face me, placing a quick peck on my cheek.

“Wait,” I quickly cover his eyes. He responds with a confused ‘huh?’

“It’s a secret,” I led him into the bedroom, then released his face.

“Make sure you let me know when you're cleaning up. I’ll have Amaris, over here, guard the place,” he laughs at my statement, but nods.

“Okay, okay,” he goes into the bathroom, to refresh himself.

“Kacchan!” I heard him yell from the bedroom. Always someone to keep his word.

Reaching our bedroom, I hold out my hand, “Let’s go.”

Amaris happily trails behind us, probably excited to see Izuku’s reaction, as well.

“It’s not much but,” I said leading him to the dining table, “hope you like it.”

“Kacchan… This… This is so beautiful,” he looks at me with endearment and surprise, then kisses my cheek.

“Amaris and I wanted something special for your special day,” I said, looking at our cat.

“Boy, was it successful. Thank you both,” he picks Amaris up and cuddles into her.

Looking at the two of them, my heart swells with happiness. I’m so glad to have them with me.

Izuku’s Dinner Mission: Successful

So Grateful

Amaris’s POV

Looking at the sleeping faces, I contemplate whether or not to wake them up. Hm… They never get mad, but what if they’re tired?

Remembering they returned fairly late last night, I ignored the urge to cuddle the duo. Instead, walking towards the open cat door, I head to the water bowl, which normally refills itself. I drink the entire bowl, slightly surprised at my own thirst. I’m bored…

In the corner of my eye, I notice the new toys ‘Zuku bought me! It’s so fluffy and soft! He’s the best! He knows what toys to always buy me. Oh, and Kacchan gets me the best food!

Hearing footsteps behind, I realized the two of them were in the kitchen. Did I wake them up?! Oh, no!

Looking at their mouths moving, their hand gestures, and time of day, I relax, recognizing that it's almost time for them to leave. I wonder who it is this time…

“Koji,” I heard. Koji! Yay! He’s amazing! I’m able to fully understand him. That’s how I got to know so much about my family. Hm… I want to ask him more about the cat next door…

“Hungry, little one?” Kacchan tilts his head, pointing at the bowl.

I meow, rushing to my bowl in excitement. ‘Zuku chuckles at my energy in the morning.

“Amaris,” I look up to see Kacchan with the delicious food, “there you go.”

After sniffing the meal in front of me, I happily bite into it.

I’m so glad ‘Zuku brought me with him. When he walked up to me in the rain, he looked like a hero. Now knowing both of them are heroes, I constantly hope they come back okay. The one time Izuku was extremely hurt, I was horrified. I never want him to end up like that again. Still, I’m so proud of my family. They're both so nice and loving.

They somehow know me so well, too. They tell me to go into another room before turning on that weird loud machine. They cuddle me every time I want to cuddle. They give me the absolute best food and toys. They even gave me this tall tree thing to climb on. They have a big family too, so many different people come off sometimes. I get nervous and hide, but they let me take my time. I’m so grateful to be here!

Mission: Find Her

Izuku’s POV

“Amaris! Where are you!?” I shout. Noticing everyone else looking for her yet no clue was found, my heart quickens. I hope she’s okay.

“Little one!” Kacchan shouts from the balcony.

“Deku! I check the forest, she isn’t there,” Ochaco looked worried as well. She went to look for Amaris in the forest with Kyoka, Tsuyu, and Denki, where they split and searched the place.

“Sorry, she was with me last. I should have paid more attention,” Denki scratches the back of his head.

I shake my head, “No, no! It’s not your fault! It’s a party, after all. You should be able to enjoy yourselves.”

“I um let the birds know. They’ll come to us if they see her,” Koji said, pointing at the birds in the air.

I sigh in worry. It’s been an hour now. I noticed a few others returning from their search location, as well.

“She’s not in the house either. Looked for her everywhere,” Hanta walked towards us with Mina behind him nodding along.

“Yeah, under every piece of furniture, too. Don’t worry we put everything back where it was,” she gives me a thumbs up. I give her a smile in return.

“Sorry for the panic. I knew it was supposed to be a lunch party, not a search party,” I said, feeling extremely guilty.

“No, dude! You’re totally fine,” Eijirou claims, who returned from his search location a while ago only to return empty handed. He, Fumikage, Minoru, and Mezo went to search some of the stores nearby, only to return empty handed.

“We all had plenty of time to catch up with each other, so no worry,” Fumikage says, Dark Shadow nodding along afterward.

“I’m still keeping my ears out for her. It’s nothing difficult,” Mezo reassures me.

“Yeah,” Tsuyu comes up to me, “if a pet of mine got lost, I would panic too.”

The others nod in agreement. I let them know that they should take a break from the search, since the others were still out looking for her.

Looking up, I noticed Kacchan peering far and near to see if he could get a glimpse of the familiar fur.

Feeling a tickle on my ankle, I look down. As I do so, I am met with the familiar adorable round eyes.

“Amaris! There you are!” I shouted, gaining attention from everyone else.

“Found her?!” Kacchan yells from the balcony. I show him a thumbs up and beckon, telling him to come downstairs, which he instantly does so.

“You gave us one hell of a panic, Amaris,” Kacchan exclaims, running to me and petting her head. His eyes showed clear relief that she was safe and sound.

“I’ll let the others know that we found her,” Denki says, holding up his phone. The both of us nod in agreement.

“Where were you?” I asked her, only to receive a cheerful series of meows in return. Immediately after, I hear Koji chuckle to himself.

Noticing that he gained our attention, he explains his state, “Amaris said she met her love… I’m guessing it’s the cat next door.”

“Huh?! That cat?! You were with him?!” Kacchan shouts, surprised.

The rest of us erupted into a fit of laughter, realizing that Amaris was spending time with her boyfriend the entire time we were panicking.

“And here we were,” I said, bringing my nose to hers, “looking for you!”

Mission Find Her: Solved

A Flipping Reunion

Katsuki’s POV

Entering the cool room, I instantly noticed the area full of familiar faces. Looking at the banner, I noticed the effort placed into the decoration. Happy Birthday, Eri!

“They came! They came!” Eri exclaims running up to the both of us, “You brought Amaris, too!”

“Knew you missed her,” I said, handing her to the cat she’s grown fond of. Living with Mr. Aizawa, she’s grown to have a huge love for cats. Amaris places her nose on top of Eri’s, making Eri explode from happiness.

She laughs, “My heart! Tempted to just keep you here.” I slightly smile at the duo.

“Hi, you two,” I look to the side, seeing IcyHot approach us.

“Hi!” Izuku says, waving at him.

“Hey,” I greet, nodding up at him.

“Anyways,” he pays attention to Amaris, “How are you, Amaris?” She does deserve all the love she gets.

She gladly leans into his warm hand, purring at the touch. It did take her a while to be comfortable around many of them, but they all got to the point where she’s okay with jumping onto their laps.

“Alright, alright. Let them come inside. Hello, Midoriya and Bakugou,” I heard a deep voice say.

“Hello, Mr. Aizawa,” we both replied in unison, bowing while doing so. Mr. Aizawa’s eyes then fixate on Amaris.

“Mind if I take her?” he asks the two of us.

“Not at all!” Izuku replies. Eri pouts before handing Amaris to Aizawa.

Following them into the room, the years suddenly dawn upon me.

“How old are you now? 10?” I asked Eri, earning myself a frown. Kids

“No!” she whines, “I’m 13!”

“Same difference,” I chuckle, rolling my eyes.

“No, it’s not!” she replies, making Izuku laugh at our mini argument.

“Oh! Will you get more cats? I really want to adopt one, but dad says it can only be from someone I know,” she suddenly says, looking at us with hope.

“I don’t mind getting more, but it might be hard with us leaving often,” Izuku tells her, receiving an understanding nod in return.

“Oh, yeah… Hero work can take away time with pets,” she replies. I hum in agreement. That’s true. Luckily, we are able to see Amaris often, but there are moments where we had to leave her at another’s house for pet sitting. Though, that did allow her to branch out and have many people to rely on.

“Your gifts are on the table, right?” I ask her, instantly gaining a nod. Letting her go back to her friends, Izuku and I place the gift on the table and then meet up with our high school peers and teachers.

“Look what I taught her to do,” IcyHot lifts his hand up, making Amaris jump really high to touch it. Haha. Funny.

“I taught her that already, that’s why,” I glared at his claim.

“You’re funny… Anyways,” he goes back to playing with Amaris, ignoring me.

“You-” Aizawa glares at me, hinting me not to curse or yell at Eri’s party. Fair, fair, there are kids in here.

“Excuse me,” a shoulder brushes past me, picking Amaris up, “How has my child been?”

“Your child? You mean Izuku and I’s child,” I lift my eyebrow up, looking at the purple haired boy.

Shinsou looks at me and grins, “My child.” This little..

Suddenly, a loud meow gains our attention. She wiggles out of Shinsou’s hold and jumps onto the ground. I laugh, mocking Shinsou’s shocked face. We all look at her as she leans into the ground. Then back up. Then down. Then up.

We all look at each other in confusion.

“Is she uh… okay?” Momo asks, I shrug in response.

“She should be. Maybe it’s an act of distraction,” I reply.

Immediately after, Amaris jumps into the air and over. Backflip… Did she just do a backflip?! A backflip!? Did Izuku teach her that? He probably did.

The group collectively reacts with individualistic shocked expressions. A series of “Woah!,” ''what?!,” and gasps sound throughout the area.

“Oh my gosh! She did a backflip!” an invisible voice claims aka Toru Hagakure.

“I definitely did not expect that. I thought she was just going into exercise mode,” Tenya says, probably joking, only to receive confused, bewildered looks. Exercise mode? What even?

“We’ll just pretend we didn’t hear you say that,” Hanta replies, placing a hand on Tenya’s shoulder.

“Kacchan, did you teach her that?” Izuku asks me.

I look at him in confusion, “I thought you did.” He shakes his head ‘no.’

“As much as I would’ve liked to, I didn’t either,” Shinsou adds. One-by-one, our old classmates confirm that none of us taught her to backflip.

“I don’t remember seeing Eri teach her that either. She’d normally tell me about her hangouts with Amaris in detail,” Mr. Aizawa replies.

“I wonder who did,” Izuku, as usual, wonders out loud.

“Not to be too logical or anything, but maybe it's from seeing us training together often. You know? Doing all these tricks and whatnot must’ve made her learn a thing or two,” Mashirao claims, standing behind Mina.

“Oh! Yeah, yeah!” Mina nods in excitement.

“So mesmerizing, isn’t it!? We all indirectly taught her it. Such beauty can only be captured by her,” Yuga says, petting Amaris’s head.

“Can she do it again?” Rikido asks, who sat next to Mezo.

“It did take her a while, so maybe after letting her ease into it again,” Eijirou adds.

“She’s very healthy now, so she should be able to easily do it if she’s been secretly practicing,” I replied. I’ve never even seen her do a backflip at home before. That’s odd… I wonder where she’s been doing it

“Do you think she’s been practicing next door?” Izuku asks me. The rest of them look at him and I, now wondering the same thing. Next door… Next door?!

“Who?! The young couple with that damn male cat?!” I yell, quickly making Izuku place a finger on his own lips so as to not scare the kids nearby.

I roll my eyes, “I hope not.” Admittedly, the male cat did seem to have a… good dynamic with Amaris. Still, I need to protect her.

“Dad, is everything okay? I heard loud voices,” Eri walks up to us.

Mr. Aizawa hums, “Everything alright, Eri. Stay here for a bit before you go back.”

Eri tilts her head in extreme confusion, “Huh?”

“Eri, watch what Amaris does in a little bit,” Izuku tells her, making her pay attention to the cat.

Noticing Amaris get into the same stance, nearly all of us know what to expect. She leans down, then up. Down, then up. Down… Flip! A smart one, indeed.

The crowd around her cheers in gratification and joy.

“Aw! So cute!” Eri claims, crouching down to Amaris and hugging her.

I shake my head. Now, I wonder what surprise tricks she’ll learn next.

“I guess you can say this is certainly… One flipping reunion,” Tenya tries to joke, this time (luckily) receiving a few chuckles.

“Leave,” a few of our old classmates responded. Tenya then proceeds to defend himself and his jokes.

A flipping reunion? Fair enough.

What Have YOU Been Up To?

Izuku’s POV -

“Kacchan, don’t you think Amaris has been rapidly gaining weight? It’s not bad, but I hope it’s not a health condition,” he bit my inner cheek, nervously wondering.

“Yeah, it’s a little weird. I can book an appointment at the vet,” I nod at him, glad I wasn’t the only one who thought so.

“Congratulations! Amaris is expecting!” the veterinarian claims, shocking the two of us.

“Really?” the doctor nods at me.

“Yes, about 30 days now,” she says, showing us the ultrasound.

“Huh… No wonder. Can you give us more information about how to prepare for this?” Kacchan asks, to which the veterinarian happily obliges.

After getting her health updates and report, we were told everything was completely fine. In fact, she was perfectly healthy for carrying and giving birth. I wonder if we should keep them all or give a few to people we know…

“Thank you for your service,” I said as the both of us bowed. Getting pamphlets and infocharts on cat pregnancies, the three of us walk out of the building.

“Who would’ve known? I really thought she was just gaining a bigger appetite,” I said as we walked to our car.

“Yeah…But who?” Kacchan wondered before, suddenly, he looked into my eyes.

“That damn cat next door!” I laugh at his squinted eyes.

Laughing I wave him off, “I think you’re right.”

Remember back to the search party to now, it was highly likely.

“Now, little one, what have you been up to with that guy?” Kacchan jokes, gently lifting Amaris up.

“Didn’t even warn us beforehand,” I jokingly pout. Amaris gives us a playful meow, wiggling her tail. Adorable!

“He better pay up his fatherly time,” Kacchan playfully glares at her stomach, “He’s got a bunch to care for.”

“Definitely,” I open the door, letting myself inside. Kacchan places Amaris into the pet carrier, securing it in the car, before getting into the driver’s seat.

Thinking back to Eri’s birthday party, I had an idea, “Do you think Mr. Aizawa would let Eri take one of the kittens?”

He wonders for a second, turning the car on, “I think he would, but let’s wait and see.”

As we drove back in comfortable silence, having a small conversation here and there, I noticed the happy glow on Kacchan’s face. He’s excited for this.

“Can’t wait, huh?” I asked.

“Can’t wait,” he confirmed, smiling a bit as he paid attention to the road.

“Can’t wait for our own little ones either? If you want to adopt,” he teases, making me blush a little.

Regaining my composure, I respond, “Sure, if you’re ready, too.”

His eyes widened a little, clearly caught off-guard, before calming down. He shakes his head, chuckling a little.

“After all these years, I should expect to have a bit of influence on you,” he grins as he parks the car into the garage.

“I think soon we’ll be well-prepared for adoption or surrogacy,” he adds, placing a hand on my cheek.

I nod, placing my hand over his, “I think so too.”

We couldn’t wait to further complete this family.

Mission: Find Her Pt. 2

Third Person POV

“Yeah, everything has been well. I’m so glad you all made it to Kacchan’s Agency Recognition award celebration,” Izuku smiles, hugging Katsuki’s arm.

“Wouldn’t miss it for the world,” Eijirou replies. The rest of the group was spread throughout the room, all wearing party-casual clothing.

“Told him to not do anything, but he couldn’t help but throw a party,” Katsuki shakes his head.

“Oh, hush! You love it when he does these things,” Denki chuckles, immediately earning a pillow to the face, making the rest laugh. As the conversations continue, they reflect upon their previous high school memories and future plans.

“I hope to form a public hero training ground for middle and high schoolers, but I still have to make some final decisions,” Ochaco plays with her hands.

“I remember you telling us about it last year,” Momo looks at her with bright eyes, “If you need anything, don’t hesitate to call me!”

The rest of the heroes immediately follow with their agreement to help her out, making her smile.

Noticing Eri crouch around the house with a concerned look, Izuku gets up from his seat and crouches by her. “What’s wrong, Eri?” Izuku looks at the teenager with worry. Hearing the start of a serious conversation, everyone else stops to focus on the duo.

With furrowed eyebrows, she explains her situation, “After we all came back inside, I wanted to play with Amaris, so I went to her playroom. I looked everywhere there and here too, but can’t find her.”

“Huh, that’s weird. Did any of you see her?” Izuku asked, looking at the group, with only shaking their hands in response.

“Do you want me to check in with the next door neighbors?” Katsuki asks. After Izuku nods, he goes out the door to look for the cat.

“Let’s start the search party, once again!” The group can’t help but let out a gentle chuckle at Eijirou.

“I know I closed the door before we went outside and saw her in here,” I told them.

“So, she must be in here, just hiding,” Shouto adds, and I nod. I guess… the search of Amaris starts again.

About five minutes later, Kacchan returns, “They told me she’s not there, but they’ll keep an eye out. I looked outside too, she’s not there.”

“Hm… I doubt she’s gone outside of the house,” he nods at Izuku’s claim, knowing Amaris cannot run too far from here with her pregnancy.

They all continue to look in every single room and crevice. So far, nothing was found. The couple's hearts beat against their chest, worried for Amaris and the kittens she carried. Wait… The kittens… Don’t tell me…, Izuku thought.

“Everyone! Over here!” Eri’s voice suddenly calls out. Everyone else walks toward the room, still making way for the couple.

“Is everything okay, Eri?” Izuku asked, entering the room with Katsuki behind him.

Eri was couched down, next to Shinsou, Mina, and Mezo. They all were near the opened closet. After approaching them, Kacchan and Izuku look at the closet. Nothing. Noticing their confusion, Eri points in the very corner, almost hidden by the boxes. They both lightly gasp at the view. There Amaris was slowly swaying her tail, licking the five kittens. Thank goodness, they thought.

“Thank you so much!” Izuku cups Eri’s cheek, making her giggle. Reaching into the closet, he gently clears the way.

“Ochaco, can you use your quirk to bring ‘em out of the closet? Don’t want to hurt ‘em,” Katsuki requests.

“Sure thing!” She then comes forward to do so.

After bringing Amaris and the kittens to the cat’s playroom, the group relaxes.

“We probably should’ve expected that,” Shouto says. The couple chuckles looking at the cat grooming her kittens.

“Yeah, the vet did say she was almost ready,” Izuku scratches the back of his head.

“Not your fault,” Katsuki ruffles Izuku’s hair, “We’ve been busy with the recent mission that involves both of our agencies.”

“Mr. Aizawa,” Izuku calls out, gaining his attention, “Kacchan and I have already talked about this. Would it be alright for Eri to take one of the kittens?”

Eri’s eyes brighten in excitement, “Oh! Can I?!”

Not being able to withstand her cuteness, the older hero smiles and nods, “Go right ahead. I did promise to allow you to when the time comes.”

Cheering in happiness, Eri nears all of the kittens, “I’ll come back for one of you some time soon, okay?”

Letting the mother cat take care of her young ones, the adults go back into the living room, allowing Eri to spend time with the animals. Already knowing what would be best, Izuku and Katsuki placed food and water for Amaris in the room, near her bed. In the living room, the adults continued to talk, game, and celebrate. Looking at their friends, the couple couldn’t be more satisfied with their ties. Shinsou, Denki, Eijirou, Kyoka, and Momo were gaming. Shouto, Tenya, and Rikido were trying to learn the new dance Mina showed them. Tsuyu, Yuga, Ochaco, and Kyoka were talking amongst themselves. Mr. Aizawa was on the phone, speaking to Eri’s quirk coach, who helped her discover more about her own quirk. The rest were in the kitchen, helping themselves to food, especially dessert. Soon enough, Eri comes into the living room claiming that the animals were asleep, considering it has been a tiring day.

“I’m so glad they all came out healthy,” Izuku lays his head on Katsuki.

“Me too,” he replies, kissing Izuku’s forehead.

“Do you want to keep them all, other than the one Eri will adopt?” Izuku looks at his boyfriend.

“I really would like to, but it may be difficult with our job. Let’s keep them for a while and see,” Katsuki brushes the strand on Izuku's forehead.

“Hm… You’re right. If it’s not good for them, I think letting a few of them,” Izuku looks at the group of friend, “take them will be good. That way the family can see each other often.”

Katsuki nods in agreement, then lays his head on his boyfriend’s shoulder. They already knew their friends were extremely fond of Amaris. Especially since they liked animals or had pets of their own, the couple trusted them with the kittens.

“I love you,” he hears his childhood friend, now boyfriend, say. Katsuki’s heart flutters at the normal, but still impactful saying.

“I love you, too,” he replies, further pressing himself into Izuku, “Thank you for today.”

“Anything for you,” Izuku brushes his thumb on the blonde’s hand.

Inside the warm home lies two heroes and a kitten, who now have additions to their family and only expect more in the future. And they can’t wait.

Chronicles of Two Heroes and a Cat Part. 2 | Izuku Midoriya x Katsuki Bakugou

Ship: Katsuki Bakugou x Izuku Midoriya | BKDK

Requested by: @delightfulcupquakequeen

Word Count: 5,500~

Minor warnings(?): Some cursing, usage of the characters first name instead of last

Here lies the delightful memories of two heroes and a cat. From cuddle sessions to a big party, the trio continue to create memories that warm their hearts. What goes on in their life?

Meet The Father

Katsuki grumbles, huffing as he puts on his shoes, “Do I have to go?” Izuku vigorously nods his head, “Of course! We’ll have to meet the father, it’s important!”

Katsuki sighs, “Fine, but,” he turns to Amaris, “Only for you and your babies, little one.”

Carefully placing the kittens into the basket with lots of cloth, they prepare to meet the neighbors. With the previous notice and invitation, the neighbors were expecting the duos and kittens. The neighbors, which consists of a single mother with a young daughter, were more than happy to unite the kittens with their father.

Izuku and Katsuki look at each other, immediately bursting into a fit of laughter, remembering the phone call.

“Hello?” Izuku greets, with Katsuki behind him. Katsuki’s hands fold into each other as he hears the noises of a kid in the background.

“Hello? Yes,” the lady introduces herself.

“My name is Izuku Midoriya, your neighbor?” he questions, hoping they knew him.

“Ah... Midoriya, yes. Is everything alright?” she sounded worried.

“Yes, everything is… great. Kac- Katsuki and I are doing great. It’s just,” he plays with the end flap of the couch, “Well, our cat recently gave birth.” He hears the mother coddle the child, adjusting to hear him.

“Oh, really?! Congratulations! The more the merrier, huh?” she sounded shy, but tried to be energetic. 'Must be hard multitasking like that. Children are so, so adorable,' he thought.

“Yes, and,” he looks at Katsuki, who urges him to speak up, “Well, the father of those kids are… Your cat.”

A few long seconds of silence go by, only the occasional babble of the toddler being heard, before the mother gasps, “Wha… Wait. What?! Huh?”

“Woah, that’s impressive… I didn’t think he’d get a girlfriend… He’s always… So awkward around female cats. Agh! Sorry, I went off track,” Izuku chuckles at her small banter. Katsuki cupping his mouth to prevent a loud bark leaving his lips, “Just wow…. Hah? Lenox?! Why would you go after her? What did you even do to impress her? When?”

The more she spoke, the harder it got for the duo to hold in their laughter, hearing the women shocked at the fact that her awkward cat managed to get a girlfriend and kids.

“My goodness,” she chuckles, “Sorry, it’s just very surprising. I never expected this from him, but I’m glad. No wonder he’s been bouncy lately, he must’ve known.”

Katsuki tilted his head, whispered, “That dude knew?!”

“He would take food out the house and return an hour or two later, that must’ve been why,” she continues.

“Ah,” Izuku remembers, “Amaris had done the same thing. She would disappear at random moments only to return a little later.”

The duo shake their heads, Amaris only looking at them in shyness.

“But, fear not. I have no intention of keeping the kitten away from their father,” the duo sigh in relief, upon hearing her.

“Would you like to visit tomorrow?” Izuku looks at Katsuki, who puts a thumbs up.

“Yes! If that’s what works for you?” he asks, trying to be respectful of her.

She hums, “Yes, yes. That works out nicely. It would make my Raiya very happy to see her neighbors. She’s shy, but will feel better in an hour around you two.”

“I’m glad this works out well. We will see you then!” he bids, receiving a bid of goodbye in return.

“My gosh, Lenox has done a number on the neighbor's cat… Poor kitten,” she whispers into the phone, not knowing the phone had no cut. Izuku finally snaps. Bursting out a laugh as he cuts the call. Katsuki joined him, his eyes tearing up. The duo clutching their stomach at the shock and acceptance of their neighbor.

The two calm down, stepping out the door.

“My gosh, Lenox has done a number on the neighbor’s cat,” Katsuki quotes, emitting a small laugh from Izuku.

“Stop,” Izuku chuckles, “You’ll make me lose it. Can’t afford that, right now.”

The slow open of the door makes them straighten their already proper posture, “Good afternoon.”

The duo smile at the young lady, who seemed to be their age, and her daughter.

“Hello, little child,” Izuku waves at the daughter, who waves, but shyly turns away.

“Good afternoon, please come in,” she fully opens the door, letting them inside. The duo hears the distant meow of a cat, Amaris meowing in return. As soon as she does so, a scurried set of steps echoes throughout the room, seconds later a brown and white cat sliding in, right in front of them.

“Woah, woah! Be careful, Lenox,” the lady lectures, only for Lenox to step towards Amaris. The two cats cuddle up against each other, making everyone smile.

“Aw,” Izuku kneels down to them, “Hello, Lenox. I’m Izuku, technically her guardian.”

Katsuki does the same, huffing, “Hello. I’m Katsuki, guardian of the girl you knocked up.” Izuku elbows him for the use of words in front of a child.

“Ow, okay. Language,” he shakes his head at Izuku. Lenox looks at them for a few seconds before bowing his head, shocking the two.

The mother chuckles, “He sees me bow a lot, so he’s gotten the habit of doing that to people that greet themselves.”

A smile rises from Katsuki, “Hm. Maybe you’re not too bad, then.” He ruffles the cat’s fur. The two get back up, following the lady into the living room.

“Please, have a seat. I have prepared a small meal and drinks. Feel free to have anything you'd like!”

Izuku and Katsuki nod, grateful for her kindness, “Thank you!”

They hum in satisfaction, the food absolutely blowing their minds. Placing the places in the sink, they sit back in the living room. In the corner, they look at the father running around the kittens, hoping to meet them soon. Wiping his hands with a tissue, Katsuki stands up.

“Here,” he bends down, opening the flap to let the kittens out, “Your dear children.”

Instantly, Lenox jumps up, eyes gleaming and bright. He meows at Amaris, running around her, meowing out loud. Izuku’s heart melts at the action, “Aw, he’s so excited and happy!”

The neighbor chuckles, “He is! I’m assuming he knew and was dying to meet them.”

“He’s very, very loyal,” the lady looked proud of Lenox, “He’ll never hurt the kittens of your cat. Amaris, is it?”

The duo nod at her question, confirming it. Lenox and Amaris cuddle with each other, scooting up towards the kittens. Using their body to build a protective barrier, despite danger being around.

“Wan’ Wan’” the toddler babbles in the lady’s hands, who chuckles.

“Sorry, Raiya is absolutely fond of animals,” Izuku scrunches his nose at the baby in her arms.

“No worries! It’s good to be! Do you mind if I… carry her?” Izuku asks, to which the neighbor happily nods.

“Sure! I’m trying to make her interact with people. I would never force, but I know when to give her the extra push,” she gently places Raiya in Izuku’s lap. He looks down at the toddler in fondness, his eyes taking in the tiny being. Katsuki simply stares at his boyfriend carrying the child, his heart swelling at the sight. He’d make a great father, Katsuki thought. We’d be great fathers, he thought.

Izuku lets Raiya grab his finger, babbling and saying the occasional few words.

“Cat. The cat,” she jumps in his lap, grabbing the air towards the cats. Katsuki chuckles before looking at the neighbor, “Can I carry her too?”

Getting her permission, he lifts the toddler from Izuku’s lap, “Boom!” He pretended to go fast (in reality he was very careful). The child giggles at the action, quickly bubbling up at the sight of being near the cats.

“Wow! Cute,” she exclaims, touching the fur of the kittens.

“Mom, mom! My cat,” she quickly takes claim of the new kittens, eliciting a chuckle from her mother. She shakes her head, “Sorry, Raiya. It’s their kittens.” Raiya pouts, heartbroken, “Oh.”

Izuku’s heart shatters at Raiya trying not to look sad, “But you can always play with them! Okay?” At the reassurance, her eyes gleamed again.

“Well,”  Katsuki begins, “We were wondering what your opinion on this situation was. We do get busy here and there, so having too many kittens would not be ideal. We may be able to take one more, but that’s about it.” He looks at the neighbor who nods in her understanding.

“I totally understand. I, too, have my hands quite full with my job, Raiya, and Lenox, so the best I can also do is take one kitten. The rest though, um,” she ponders for a second before placing a fist on the palm on her hand, “Ah! A family member wanted to adopt pets soon. I’m sure they’d be willing to take the rest. They have kids old enough to take care of them too.”

"Really?” Izuku replies, relieved, “Then, please do reach out to them and we’d be willing to talk to them about the rest.”

The trio come to a singular decision: Each will take one kitten, Eri will take one (since they have previously decided to do so), and the others can stay with their neighbor’s family. Raiya decided to keep the tallest cat of them all, being fond of its towering difference.  All in all, meeting the father went perfectly. Though, leaving was a hassle.

“Lenox! They have to leave, you can see them again soon,” the male cat meows out loud at his owner, not willing to stick his paw away from the box.

They look at the scene unfold as the two cats find it hard being apart, especially with the kitten.

“Amaris,” Izuku calls out, making Amaris rip her face away from her boyfriend, “We can come again soon, okay?”

The two cats only look at each other, finally accepting defeat after 5 minutes of non-stop pawing and meows.

The duo step out, bidding their neighbors goodbye. Walking back to their house, sighing in contentment. “That went well,” Izuku smiles.

“Sure did,” Katsuki replies, pecking the male’s cheek. Izuku’s nose scrunches up, “Was this for anything?”

“What?” Katsuki lifts an eyebrow, “Can’t I kiss my boyfriend just because?”

Izuku shakes his head, “You can! I’m just saying you have a different look in your eyes.”

Katsuki hums, “I just can’t wait to build a family with you, that’s all.”

Izuku stills, shocked at Katsuki suddenness, albeit they both always knew they’d spend the rest of their lives together.

Catching up once again, he quickly pecks Katsuki cheek, “And I can’t either.” Hand in hand, holding their kittens, the duo smile at their new hopeful future.

“That damn father proved to be worthy after all,” Katsuki grumbles, making Izuku chuckle.

“Told you not to be so harsh on him.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

Picking The One

“Okay!” Izuku exclaims over the phone, “Great. We will see you tomorrow then. Goodbye. Have a wonderful day.”

“Woah, that was easy, huh?” Katsuki said, taking another slurp from his spicy noodles.

Izuku nods, “Raiya’s mother already told them the entire story and they’re super willing to take them in. All of them.”

Katsuki's eyes widened a little before calming down, “Wow. Well, having a family does make it easier to have enough people to look after each other.”

“Mhm, just like us in high school, right?” Izuku remembers all of the missions, jobs, and friends. All of which built the staircase for the duo to rise to the top.

Katsuki nods, "It's sad none of them can adpot a kitten since they're swamped with hero work or already have a pet."

The other male shrugs and nods, "A little, but it's okay. I'm just glad the kittens have a safe family to stay with."

“So,” Katsuki starts, turning off the sink after washing the dishes, “Which kitten would you like to keep, Izuku?”

Izuku tilts his head, pondering for a bit, “I love them all, but… The smallest one really grabs my attention. I don’t want any of them to have poor health, so the smallest one does make me want to keep it, so I know it grows healthy.”

Katsuki hum, understand his concern. The smallest one was the one that barely made any noise, barely moved, and seemed to need lots of one-on-one attention.

Katsuki watches his boyfriend carry the smallest kitten, “Do you want to keep this small one too?” He smiles, nodding, “Yeah. It grabbed my attention too. And whatever makes you happy, makes me happy too.”

IZUKU’S POV

Katsuki hugs me from the back, his chin resting on my shoulder, “Go get ready, then sit on the couch. I’ll be there.  Let’s go for a little while.”

I giggle, his breath tickling my neck, while rocking the small kitten, “Okay.”

Wearing the outfit that Kacchan insisted on me wearing, I stepped out of the room, going back downstairs. Kacchan tells me that he still has to decide.

Watching the calm breathing form of all the sleeping cats, I continue to sit on the couch. 5 minutes. Wow. He must be using the bathroom. I scroll through my phone, waiting. 10 more minutes. Huh? 5 more minutes. Is he taking a shower? I was about to turn on the TV to pass time before I heard my name shouted from the second floor.

“Izuku!” Katsuki shouts, throat raspy. “Izuku! Izuku!”

My heart pounds against my chest as he calls my name in a foreign tone. Not indicating danger, but clearly laced with anxiety.

“Kacchan?!” I scramble off the couch, quickly making my way up the stairs, “Kacchan?! Are you alright?!

“Kac-” I turn the doorknob only to be met with a candle in the middle of the room, “Huh?”

“Kacchan,” I utter, my heart steady, but still worried. Where is he?!

I step inside, kneeling down in front of the candle.

“Stand by the candle,” I heard the familiar voice encourage. Kacchan. Thank goodness.

“Kacchan, you scared me,” I sigh, only to be met with a hum.

“Yeah, didn’t mean to. I guess I was scared too, but just… just stand by the candle,” I chuckle at his soft voice, clearly embarrassed. “Okay, okay,” I  stood back up beside the candle. What is this? Is there some special occasion? Some weird holiday?

“Now, don’t… Don’t go blushing and muttering away on me. Just hear me out, alright,” Kacchan  dark figure nears me, the dark room only outlining his body. I nod, “Yes, yes.” It’s silent for a few seconds, then it slowly starts to hit me. Dark room. Candle. Outfits… Don’t tell me… Wait…

I hear a click and then the lights turn back on. My breath stills for a second, taking in the view in front of me. MY heart pounds against my chest, this time in excitement and overwhelming adoration for the man in front of me.

Kacchan was wearing a get-up quite similar to mine, with decorations filling up the room. The walls of our room are adorned with memories we’ve built throughout our lives. Starting from our childhood on the left to adulthood on the right. Simple nude colors and shades with a hint of jade green and maroon, representing the both of us. Petals of red roses, peonies, and dahlias spilled in a circle around us. The pictures of us smiling, of us standing in fighting stance, of us messy with mud, of us with Amaris, and plenty more. The biggest one being of us holding our hands up together, after completing a world mission.

My eyes begin tearing up, my throat clogging, but I stay quiet.

“Okay, so,” Katski starts, looking at me, “Don’t laugh.”

“Ever since childhood, you’ve been an important person in my life. Someone who was honest, caring, and daring. Admittedly, I did not treat you right. I was an asshole to you. My mentality and self-esteem were awful, so I took out on our friendship. But… You never let me go. You never did. For that I want to thank you.  Every time I saw you, my body would tingle. The tingle sensation was something I did not like. So I would always push you away,” he clenches his fist.

Kacchan continued, his Adam’s apple wavering, “In high school things slowly got better. We slowly got closer. That feeling that I thought was horrible, became comfortable because I was finally able to name it. I have loved you since we were in middle school.”

“We grew together, fought together, and won together. Having you by my side always comforted me. The mere thought of you going away terrifies me. It terrified me back then, so I… I pushed you away hoping the pain of the thought would go away. But it never did. It scares me to this day to think what could’ve happened if you took all of my words to its exact saying. I’m glad that I grew as a person, but I hope that while doing so, I gave you better memories than the pain I caused,” Kacchan confessed as tears pricked his eyes, on the brink of falling down. And they do so. One by one.

He wipes his eyes, “Ah, now I’m the one ruining the mood… What was I going to say?” He sniffles before returning, my hand over my mouth, “I love you so much that it hurts. I can’t stand the thought of you separating from me. I promise to always love you. You’ve been here since practically day one. The one who pushed me, fought me, and protected me. Izuku…” He pauses, licking his lips.

He chuckles a little  “I’m sure you already know what’s going on but, do not feel pressured. I will never take it to heart if you are not ready, but from now on I am. I wasn’t joking when I said I can imagine the rest of our lives together. Heck, we already spent over 20 years together. Both of us shine together. You lift me. I lift you. We are equals and will always be. So… Izuku Midoriya…”

He gets down on one knee, his pants touching the petals that lay beautiful on the ground. His clasped hand finally opened to display a circle box that carries the ring that I had been enamored by, “Will you allow our lives to bloom further by marrying me?”

My lips tremble as tears fall down my ears, my legs slightly shaking. Kacchan giggles, perhaps already expecting my quiet surprise. He simply smiles at me, knowing I needed a second to respond.

 Ah, he’s… he’s such a…

“You’re such a… sudden person. You could’ve at least left a hint for me to prepare.”

He chuckled, still on one knee, scrunching his nose indicating that it wouldn’t have gone according to plan otherwise.

I sniffle down my last shocked choke,  laying my hand out, “Yes… Yes, Kacchan. I will marry you.”

Suddenly, the line of a cord catches my eye, making me chuckle, “Did you set up a camera?”

His lips for a thin line, “At least you didn’t notice earlier. It's… I just wanted to keep a physical way to remember this.”

I smile ruffling his hair, “I appreciate that. I’m sure our moms would love to see what happened.”

“Don’t you dare spread this to our friends… They’ll poke stupid fun,” he grumbles.

I laugh, “I’ll try, but knowing them they’ll try one way or another to get their hands on it.”

He huffs, “I guess I’m doing this to myself.” I nod, leaning my head against his, pecking another kiss, “I’m glad you’re you. I love you so much.”

He hugs me, closing any gap that barely remained, “I love you too… so much.”

After posting the rings on our private accounts, multiple phone calls and messages thunder through our phones.

Kacchan sighs, “I’m not ready for the amount of people we have to respond to,” slumping down on the couch.

I nod, “Me neither,” scratching the back of my head, “They probably didn’t expect the proposal either.”

He rolls his eyes, “Otherwise the news would’ve reached you. Can’t keep their mouths shut for too long.”

I chuckle, “How long have you been planning this?”

He pauses to think for a second, “Maybe a few months, but the thought first popped up a little under a year ago.” My cheek heats up at the thought. He must’ve been really nervous.

Suddenly Kacchan stood up, his eyebrows knitted together, “What’s he doing here?!” I turn my head to the corner of the room where the kitten and Amaris are, tilt my head and the new sight. I breathe a laugh, “Oh my gosh! Aha!”

Lenox held a flower in his mouth, a few moves laid out on the floor in front of Amaris, her eyes slightly wide. His head was tilted down words, whispering something.

“Is he… proposing?!” I gush at the sight, making Kacchan scrunch his nose.

“Copycat. Why is he doing it here? Why not some other place?”

“Oi!” he shouted, but I pulled on his arm.

“Let him finish,” I urge him to sit back down, noticing Amaris stand on her feet. She goes up to Lenox, slowly. Leaning forward she rubs her head on his neck, licking him. She accepted!!

“Damn it,” Kacchan sighed, “Well, I guess two proposals make it joyful for everyone.”

I vigorously shake my head, “How about-”

“Okay. I’m fine with them getting married during our wedding,” he interrupts, already knowing what I thought.

I smile, “Thank you.”

Wedding Hassle

KATSUKI’S POV

“Where’s the tie?!” Eijirou shouts, “Hello?! Tie?! Where?!”

‘Calm down! I have it,” Mina lifts her hand up, waving around the tie, huffing. Eijrou sighs in relief, “Had me panicking for a second.”

“Dude. You have to stop being so stiff,” Eijirou, poking my back, earning a glare.

“I’m the one getting married. Of course I’m- Nothing, dumbass,” I shake my hands, trying to cool down my sweaty hands. Why now? I need to calm down.

“I get it. I was really nervous during my wedding too,” I heard a familiar elderly voice call out. Mom.

“Really?” she nods at my question.

“At some point I had thoughts that I would never find the one because… of my personality, but your father accepted all of me. Flaws and all. We helped each other and in the end… We worked out just fine,” she smiles at me.

“I’m saying this once, Katsuki. Never shatter his heart. He’s forgiving and understanding, but that doesn’t mean he always will be,” she holds my shoulder, “But I know my boy well enough, too. You’ll neer do anything like that.”

I give her a small smile, “What if… I do something stupid out there?”

Denki barks a laugh, “Imagine falling! Immediate ick,” only to receive a slap on the head from Kyouka.

Mom chuckles, “Izuku loves all of you, so don’t worry. Remember that he accepted all of your flaws and growth. A small stupid fall won’t make him fall out of love. Rather,” she shows me her eye smiles, “He’ll run to help you up.”

I smile, “Yeah… He would.”

I take a deep breath, looking at the small figure next to me, “If you run out of the court without marrying Amaris, I’ll chase you.”

Lenox only stares at me, blinking in the neighbor’s lap, who suppresses a laugh.

“I’ll chase you too, little bud,” she shakes the cat, who is adorned with a light suit, “Amaris is too adorable to be walked out on.” He only meows out loud, his nose slightly scrunched.

“Yeah, yeah. I’m scared too,” I whisper to him, petting his head, “Let’s go.”

IZUKU’S POV

I wipe my sweaty hands on the napkin, breathing in and out. It’s okay. Not a dream. Everything will be okay. A-okay. No! What if he’s not ready at the last minute?! Well he’d never do that, but what if I do something stup-

“Izuku,” Shouto lays his hand on my shoulder, “Deep breaths. Are you good?”

I nod, “Just… I’m just worried. What if something goes wrong?”

Ochaco pops her head out of the wardrobe to pull out a chain that goes on my suit, “Finally. Anyways, I doubt things will go horrible. You have all of us and our former teachers. I’m sure if anything goes wrong, our quirks will be useful enough.”

I sigh, “I know… But what if I say something weird, during the you know?” I pet Amaris, who was dressed up in a simple, but beautiful dress.

“Don't worry, honey,” I heard mom say, walking up to cup my cheeks, “You and Katsuki really love each other. Pure, indefinite love. If anything,” she smiles, “I’d say it’ll be the representation of your love if any one of you makes a small mistake. Besides, it’s only natural for one tiny detail to be out of place. It makes us human, hm?”

I nod, appreciating her truth. It does make us human.

She breathes in, “So, any stuttering, mumbling, and whatnots is allowed. Just keep your chin up and marry the man you’ve loved for the longest time.”

I hold her hand, smiling, “Mm, mom. Thank you.”

Looking at the basket where Amaris lies, I bend down, “Almost time, little one.”

She only purrs in response, her eyes shining in the bright light, a magical shining aura around her. She’s really excited.

THIRD PERSON POV

That day, flowers bloom in their most beautiful form, flowing in the air, surrounding the two who have loved each other for the longest time. Their love blooms further as they lean toward each other, their vows touching every heart present.

Izuku squeezes Katsuki's hands, trying to calm himself down, finishing his speech, “No matter what, I’ll have your back, and you’ll have mine. I have never doubted you, because I knew you better than what was said and spread about you. This is not the first time that I’ll say this, but despite being surrounded by powerful heroes since I was a kid, you were the hero that was closest at arm's length. You inspired me, encouraged me, and were the most powerful rival I could’ve asked for. All of your sacrifices were made for both of us. You’ve grown for yourself and me. Till this day, my heart holds endless love for you. I promise to love you with your entirety. I promise to be there for you through hardships, sickness, success, and flourish. Katsuki Bakugou, I love you and will continue to love you, even in the afterlife.”

Katsuki bites the inside of his lips, preventing himself from tearing too much. He begins his speech, holding the similar weight as Izuku’s, their love spilling through words. He breathes in, finishing the last bit, “You have always protected me and I have always protected you. Together, I believe we’re too powerful, but let that be so. I want to keep you safe and sound. I know our workfield is dangerous, but I promise to be the best support system you have. I want to continue being your home. I want to be the person who loves you and is loved by you forever. You mean so, so much to me. Watching you grow up to be such an expressive and positive role model fills my heart to its brim. You made me want to become a better person, because it was only right for me to face myself, instead of pushing it all down. Through sickness, health, hardships, and success, I vow to be there for you. I want to be there for it all. Izuku Midoriya, I love you and promise to do so, even after the world disappears.”

The crowd erupts in sobs, claps, whistles, and banter, it all cheering the duo on. The cats present beside them, meowing at each together, making their own vows as they stand on their pedestals. Lenox in awe of Amaris’s attire, his eyes shined with only her. She was his world, the mother of his kids. He places her as one of the most important ones in the world. She accepted him through it all. His awkwardness, bluntness, coldness, and insecurities. She was the night to his moon, making him shine so bright. Amaris looks back at him with just as much love. Meeting him was like meeting her destined one. Admittedly, she reached out for him first,  encouraging their friendship, which quickly blossomed into love. She was patient and he opened his entire heart to her. Letting her in on his daily small adventures, protecting her, bringing her gifts, and… showing her endless love. He was the day to her sun. Looking at the duo beside them and the crowd that also cheers for them, the two cats near each other kissing.

The two males leaning forward, the two words pricking the tip of their tongues.

“I do.”

“I do.”

A couple of meows sound throughout the air. And there it was, the beginning of their new label, “married.”

The couple grumble waking up from their late night shenanigans. Their phones, once again sounding off too much. “Agh, turn that shit off,” Katsuki groans. Izuku yawns, picking up his phone only to chuckle, laying his phone down again. He cuddles up against his… husband, now.

“What was it? Swear it better not be some shitty request to interview us.”

Izuku laughs, hugging him, “Nmn. Just the group chat going off because they’re making fun of the news videos and headlines about us.”

Katsuki lifts his head up, “What were they?”

Izuku suppresses laughter,” It… Haha… It was ‘Cat Lovers and their Cats Married?!’ ‘Top Heroes Encourage A Weird, But Cute Wedding Idea’ ‘Today’s News: Sudden Marriage?! Such A Booming Shocker!’”

Katsuki snorts, “They have too much time on their hands, it’s barely been a day.”

“I know,” Izuku hums in Katsuki’s arms.

“I still am kind of shocked, you know?” Katsuki leans up, his head on his hand. Izuku’s hand still wrapped around his waist.

“Why?” Izuku asks, still laying on his pillow.

“I just… It feels too good. It all went by so lovely. The decorations, the vows, and everything. No mistakes- Okay, well, except for me staring at you too long when you were in front of me, but that’s not it. I’m just so glad we’re married. I’m hoping to keep this forever,” he plays with his ring.

Izuku smiles, his eyes squinted, “Me too, Kacchan. I love you too much to let you go now. Not after everything. So there’s no hoping, it’s already an expectation, assured expectation at that.”

He laughs at his green-haired lover, well… husband, “Yeah, assured expectation. I like the sound of that… Sounds more intense and badass.”

Izuku’s cheeks heat up, “Don’t make fun of it.” Katsuki smiles, pecking his lips, “I’m not, love. I like it when you use our creative writing side. Makes my heart tingle a little more.”

"Is that so?” Katsku nods at Izuku.

Izuku lets out a mischievous smile, “I guess I’ll use it more often.”

“Agh, stop it. Forget I ever said that,” he huffs, knowing the man in front of him has one of the best memories out there.

“Just like you told me to forget you used to keep a picture of me in your locker? Or when you slipped in the high school’s boy’s locker room when you thought we were alone and busted your ass?” Izuku teased. Once he is in the mood to poke harmless fun, he’ll do it, mercilessly. Most of these, he was simply somehow there to see these happen in real time.

“Agh! Forget it!”

“Nope, didn’t forget a single thing you told me to forget.”

“Alright, I’ll cuddle you more, if you just don’t remind me of those.”

Izuku laughs, “Yes, yes. Come closer now.”

Katsuki huffs, closing any gap, already going back to the position they’ve grown to unconsciously already do. Izuku arms around him, and his arms around Izuku. The both facing each other, legs linked, preventing any cold air interrupting their warmth.

Truthfully, their love did not need to be proven by the label of marriage. It did make life easier, saving them from others doubting their relationship. But those people did matter either. The presence of each other was all they needed. Their dream wedding was possible because of each other. Their hard work, fights and confrontations, reconciliation and understanding always strengthened their love. The duo invited a cat into their lives, which only made them realize one more thing: Having an actual family would brighten their lives, because perhaps they were almost ready.

Katsuki and Izuku went through life from the rock bottom, building their relationship, from rivals to friends to lovers. Though they weren’t the typical hateful rivals, they were pining rivals, both too stubborn and anxious to reveal their not-so-platonic love. And here they are, matured and grown, willing to go through any obstacle because they love each other. Supporting one another. Knowing each other more than others. Katsuki and Izuku worked hard to bloom their love, taking their time with it too. Now, with their arms around each other, the two husbands listen to their linked content hearts, which are filled to the brim with adoration and devotion for one another.

Worship Me Like I Worship You | Bakugo Katsuki & Reader

The day you got hired on as a secretary for Dynamight’s hero agency was the single greatest day of your life. You had been following the progress of Dynamight’s career since he started to get famous back in high school. Ever since you were thirteen years old and had first seen him on your TV during the UA Sports Festival his first year, you had known that he was the one.

Every video, news article, and picture uploaded online of Dynamight, aka Katsuki Bakugo, was automatically saved to your phone or computer so that you could look at him anytime you wanted. His loud and brash personality, explosive Quirk, and frequent encounters with villains made sure to keep him within the media’s sights and it really felt like he was all around you.

“Every time I see his face.. it’s like he’s thickening the air I’m breathing but in the best way possible. Like I’m burning and not used to seeing him, not used to seeing a God. Something about him makes me feel like I’m alive.” You dazedly tried explaining to a friend one day when they had noticed your obsession taking off not long after Katsuki’s hero debut.

Of course, your friend had no idea what you were going on about and had looked at you with such concern and.. fear. You couldn’t understand how your friend didn’t see the white light that shone behind Katsuki, illuminating the sacred being so brightly that you cry sometimes. How, in your dreams, Katuski takes your outstretched hand and promises to never leave you as you shout your beliefs in him, tell him that you worship him, and make sure he knows that he owns your heart and soul.

Now, years later, you no longer speak to that friend or any of your old friends. You don’t speak to anybody, really, but you don’t care. All you need is Katsuki and now, working at his agency, you’re going to have him.

Your Quirk, when it manifested, was registered as a weak and non-threatening anesthetic gaseous-type Quirk. When activated, your Quirk came out of your mouth upon an exhale as a colorless and odorless gas that you could control the potency of if you were to train it. The only tell that your Quirk had when it was activated was your body feeling physically colder to the touch. And, luckily enough for you, you are immune to the effects of your anesthetics with the exception of hypothermia from overuse.

Weak and non-threatening; that’s what your Quirk had been.. when you were a little kid. But you’ve trained with it in secret over the years, your test subjects being any animals you could get close enough to and unsuspecting people. You have worked hard to master the levels of potency depending on the subject, the proximity you would need to be to a subject, and keeping yourself warm so as to keep from developing hypothermia when pushing the limits of your Quirk.

You spent years putting together your plan and perfecting every single detail. The final piece of your puzzled plan falling into place when you discreetly snagged the Quirk canceling cuffs from an overly flirtatious officer that was chatting you up one day at the agency. You had blown a puff of weakly potented gas their way and the fucker had spent the next 20 minutes in a dazed high too busy poorly flirting with you to realize that you had made any move to touch them at all.

Currently, it’s a little after ten at night and Katsuki has just walked into the agency to finish up his shift then change out of his hero costume. You’re sitting in your car that’s parked not far from his in the lot and getting into character. You have about twenty five to thirty minutes until Katsuki walks out of the building and to his car, the perfect amount of time.

Your forehead is resting against the top of your steering wheel, your hands clutching the sides tightly with white knuckles, and loud sobs leave your mouth. A knocking on your window startles you and your head jerks up to see who it could possibly be at this late hour. There is a watery and truly pitiful look on your face when your eyes connect with sharp crimson ones.

You reach a shaky hand out to the door handle and open it slowly so Katsuki has time to move back to allow you to open the door fully. Your car’s interior lights don’t kick on, in fact none of your car’s lights come on, when you open the door and you let out a pathetic whimper.

“What are you still doing here?” Katsuki asks, his gruff tone holding slight irritation and discomfort.

Mentally you melt over the sound of that rough voice speaking words to you. You let the sound play on loop in your mind as you answer him in the most ‘helpless-damsel-in-distress’ voice you can manage.

“I-I’m s-so s-sorry, Dynamight, S-Sir.. M-my car w-won’t s-start.. I-I’m not s-sure wh-what’s wrong with i-it..” You stutter out between sobs.

“You didn’t think to call a friend to come get ya? Or maybe a tow truck?” Katsuki questions exasperatedly and you let out a couple more sobs.

“I-I h-haven’t m-made any fr-friends, y-yet.. I-I’m s-still new a-around h-here.. Pl-plus m-my ph-phone i-is d-dead..” You cry and stutter out then put your face into your hands.

Katsuki lets out a heavy and annoyed sigh, “Okay, okay, just calm down. Fuck, alright, let me take a look. I know some shit about cars.”

Your head snaps up and you look at him with max amounts of pathetic relief, “R-really?! Th-thank y-you so much, Dynamight!”

Katsuki rolls his eyes, “Yeah, yeah, and just call me Bakugo. I’m not in my damn hero gear right now. And pop the hood.”

“S-sorry, Bakugo..” You quietly apologize, then attempt to look for the lever to pop the hood. Out of the corner of your eye, you see the emotions of Katsuki’s short fuse flicker across his face before he schools his features and takes a deep breath.

“Move. I’ll do it.” He says curtly and you move out of the way for him.

“Thank you so much, Katsuki.” You say, your voice sultry and free of the shaky patheticness it’s held the whole time.

“The fuck did you just s-” He tries to angrily question but you’ve already blown a cloud of gas his direction and the effects are almost immediate. His face changes to surprise as his body gives out and falls back into your driver’s seat, then within seconds his eyes close and his breaths deepen.

You act quickly, pulling the Quirk canceling cuffs from behind your back and securing them around his wrists. You hum a happy tune to yourself as you move his unconscious body to the back seat with minimal struggle. Luckily, you have been hardcore working out in preparation for this part of the plan. You just knew that like any other God out there, Katsuki was built and densely packed full of muscle.

Once you have him situated in the backseat, you pop open the hood, reconnect your battery, then slide into the driver’s seat and start the car. ‘I know some shit about cars too, my lovely Katsuki!’ You think with a giggle as you leave the parking lot.

You drive for a few hours, occasionally blowing mentally measured doses of anesthetic gas into the backseat to keep Katsuki asleep. Finally, you drive carefully down a dirt road that leads to an old family farmhouse that you have fond memories of. The better of those memories being the most recent ones where you came out here to prepare the house so that it may be fitting of a God such as Katsuki. Though as you half drag, half carry his unconscious body into said house, something in you begins to feel.. ungratified.

You bring Katsuki to the guest room on the first story of the house and get him onto the bed. As an extra precaution, you blow a bit more gas into his face before going back out to the car to get your bags. Quickly getting back into the house and locking the front door behind you, you bring all of your stuff to the guest room and get to work.

In hindsight, it may have been a bit excessive buying chains to keep Katsuki in place.. but what if the cuffs failed at some point, huh? If you used rope then he would be able to blast right through them. At least chains would give him more of a challenge, and if there is anything that you know for sure about Katsuki, it’s that he loves a challenge.

So you get to work chaining each of his ankles to the bed posts at the foot of the bed. Then you disconnect the chain between the wrist cuffs and attach chains to each of his wrists that connect to the headboard. You stand back to look over your work, to take in his peaceful sleeping features, and realize that maybe you should have changed him before chaining him up.. Oh well, too late now, hopefully his jeans are comfy. All that’s left to do is wait for Katsuki to wake up.

It takes a total of three and a half hours for Katuski to finally stir and begin to wake from his forced slumber. Grumbles of slurred curses fall from his mouth and his eyes flutter open as he brings a hand up to his head. You watch this whole waking process from a chair in the corner of the room, some thoughts that have accumulated over the last few hours weighing heavy in your mind.

“Where the fuck am I? The fuck’s going on?” Katsuki angrily asks, the slur of his words starting to wear off.

“You are in the presence of your biggest worshiper, Katsuki.” You answer calmly, your legs crossed and hands clasped in your lap.

“Jesus fucking christ! I’m gonna kill you, you psychotic bitch!!” Katsuki shouts and aims a hand at you in an attempt to send a blast your way while he also tries to launch himself off the bed.

When neither action is successful he stares down at himself in horror while you just let out a semi-tired sigh. He looks back up to you as horror, shock, rage, and whatever else may be bubbling under his skin fights over who gets to contort his face.

“Maybe I was your biggest worshiper.. I’ve been having some interesting thoughts and feelings since we got here.” You ponder out loud as you pick at the threads of your pants.

“You’re fucking crazy!! What the fuck have you done to my Quirk?! Do you know how fucking screwed you’re about to be when people find out you’ve.. Find out about what you’ve done?! Ever heard of fucking Tar-”

“Enough, Katsuki.” You say sharply while holding a hand up. “Isn’t this what you wanted? Why you became a hero? So you could be praised? Loved? Worshiped like the God you are? I mean, your full hero name is Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight.” You say, a now dark and twisting devotion gleaming in your eyes and a small smile on your lips.

“You have always been a God to me, Katsuki. Someone I have always found worthy of my love and devotion and worship. But finally having you here with me, something has changed..” You look down from Katsuki to stare intensely at a spot on the floor.

“You mean you finally lost your last fucking marble?!” Katsuki snarls out as he looks at the chains on his limbs.

“You can’t lose something you never truly had, my lovely Katsuki.. No no, it’s these feelings inside of me. They’re not so much conflicting as they are two sides of the same coin..” You try to explain but Katsuki is having none of it.

“You’re not making a lick of fucking sense to me, psycho bitch! Now, let me the fuck out!!” He shouts but you wave him off which aids in pissing him off more.

“My old feelings.. I’ve spent all of these years screaming to you that I wanna be your true love, the only one for you.. That I could be just who you need.. But now.. These new feelings.. I want to be the God now.” You say, your voice distant as pieces inside of you click.

You stand from your chair and Katsuki’s body tenses as he glares harshly at you and snarls. You step towards him with the body language and face of a mother who is trying to sweetly calm their child. Right as Katsuki brings his hands up, making to punch at you, you blow an invisible cloud of low dose anesthetic gas towards him.

You watch as his body relaxes and his glare softens to something more neutral-dopey. You send him just a little bit more, just to ensure your own safety, and wait for it to take effect before you climb onto the bed. You straddle his lap, your arms looping over his shoulders, and look into his clouded and dazed crimson eyes.

“Won’t you just plead for me now, Katsuki?”

“Y-yess..”

“You make me your God, Katsuki, and I’ll tear down the sky for you.”

“Y-Youu w-willl?”

“Mhmm, I’ll do it all for you for life, my love. We are meant to be, Katsuki Bakugo.”

“W-wee a-re m-eant t-to be..”

“Darling, please worship me..” You breathe against his neck, then start to kiss along it slowly.

The bottom of his jaw is as far as your lips get before something is suddenly coiling around your body and yanking you away from Katsuki. You shove down the urge to scream in favor of pulling in air so that you can exhale a large cloud of anesthetic gas but something wraps around your nose and mouth before you get the chance.

Your eyes dart to the doorway and connect with the glowing green eyes of Pro Hero Deku. Tears involuntarily begin to pour from your eyes and you’re not sure if it’s the fear, heartbreak, or lack of oxygen that’s getting to you. Your cries are muffled as Deku brings you closer to himself via the tendrils of his Blackwhip. He turns your body away from him while he slaps Quirk canceling cuffs on your wrists but you can feel his livid and burning gaze melting through your skull the whole time.

“Z-Zuku? Y-you’re here?” Katsuki questions dazedly from the bed.

It’s then that you see the ring on Katsuki’s left ring finger. It’s glowing a slowly pulsing red color and you scream at yourself for not checking him for tracking devices.

“Yes, Kacchan, I’m here. It’s okay now, Kacchan, you’re safe.” Deku says as he moves over to the bed to free Katsuki, all while Blackwhip squeezes tightly around you.

“Th-thanks, Zuku. Love you.” Katsuki murmurs to Deku but you could still hear him.

“I love you too, Kacchan, let’s go home.” Deku says as he breaks the final chain and picks up Katsuki.

“If there is any God that Kacchan worships it’s me, you psychotic bitch.” Deku darkly informs you as Blackwhip squeezes you even tighter and he drags you out of the house.
