i lowkey freaked myself out because i had hyperrealistic eyes on alice lol i'm such a coward. this does not bode well for biblically accurate bakugan designs.

- I definitely think Mira is a cat, but I drew her as some sort of mustlelid in this one. Otter maybe?
- Dan I see as a sheep/ram because of how competitive he is. He would have large coiled horns as they grow out by s4
- Marucho is a seal because they are little water guys!!!
- I also see volt as more of a bull, so maybe I’ll draw that another time. I was in the mood to draw deer so he is some kind of cervid? Caribou? Who knows

the hat is called a miǎnguān and it's worn by emperors, ministers, and various aristocrats for important events before the fall of the ming dynasty.
i saw a really cool screenshot of a film called "the emperor's shadow". near the end the emperor wears this outfit for...something (i didn't watch the movie), and it was a very beautiful ensemble.
sighh this outfit was originally gonna be a lot more intricate (designs on the borders and shit) but my hands started hurting and i took it as a sign to stop for the day...and then i completely lost interest in completing the piece. still looks good tho.

I finally drew it. My summer work schedule is just crap. It's only in the summer that my colleagues go on their vacations in droves... apparently, I'm the only one who is tolerant and takes vacations in other months, that there were enough working people. plak
